I have gotten the breakfast burrito when having breakfast and would characterize it as large, yet underwhelming in taste. None of the beers that i have tried are particularly memorable, but they are very drinkable. The service is courteous and they strive to keep the tables clean. The ordering here is done at the counter and I have found this to be a great way of taking orders in a casual establishment. This allows one to peruse the menu at a table at one's own speed, then walk up to the counter to ask any questions about the menu and then place the order. My experiences have been that the employee at the register has always been patient, informative and respectful. They bring your order to your table when it is ready. My experience is that they give you a conservative estimate of the time for preparing and the real time has been shorter. Note that I think they do a good job with turnaround times given how many customers are in the restaurant combined with their apparent significant take-out business. My dinner experiences have been very satisfying and that is what one would expect from a meat purveyor. However, they do not fumble the ball on the execution. Casual food, but tasty. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating: plenty of both. Part of the outside seating is heated and covered during much of the year. I have never been there when you could not choose a table. I think a great casual stop, and a unique one, when visiting the Tillamook area.

Well I rolled into Grateful Bread in Pacific City, chasing that coastal breeze and a little morning…read moresunshine... and found myself right in the middle of a breakfast jam session. The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. That one hits like a perfect riff at just the right moment. Sweet, rich, and laid back in all the right ways and like it knew exactly why you showed up. They've got fresh baked goods dialed in too and this is their thing, and you can taste it in every bite. Service? Kinda like a wandering solo... not always in sync, not always warm, but hey the music (aka the food) keeps the whole thing together. In the end, it's one of those places you stumble into and remember later with a smile. If the road ever brings us back through Pacific City, we'll swing by again and let it play on.

I would imagine your phone lines are not recorded otherwise you would have verified that is not how the call played out at all. I did mispeak at the beginning of the call and tried to clarify that my order had been called in over the phone but the calltaker was too busy arguing with me to let me get a word in. I will absolutely admit to using a singular F bomb at the end of the call prior to disconnecting out of frustration, but only after being talked over, argued with and ridiculed for the entire duration of the phone call. It was at that point I realized that the man on the other side of the phone call did not respect me nor my situation and was more concerned with being right than about resolving the issue at hand. I had a long day and after driving for 8+ hours was hoping to just support a local restaurant / employees and eat some good food. Someone shouldn't have to speak to a manager to order something without an ingredient and then still be given that ingredient. And then informed me that's "just how their green sauce is made", as if I should have had insider knowledge to that. I told him I was not informed of this and I was practically shrugged off as he argued again with me about "how it's just on top and not inside", as if I was some overreacting child who just needed to scrape the top off of the food I just paid for. (There was also meat sauce inside but I just dropped the issue). Then he "sort of" offered a solution by requesting I drive all the way back to provide in- person proof of the food, again not at all sympathetic or even remotely apologetic, even after I told him I may need to seek medical attention and was just calling so I could get info on what I consumed. I couldn't even drive back to give him the half eaten enchilada and get my money back because by the time I finally got to eat half of a dinner that will likely make me vomit, I was 45 mins south at my destination. ***What makes me so mad about this whole ridiculous event is a simple apology would have sufficed. My money back would have been nice but I just wanted to get clarification on the issue and get a freaking apology the food I paid for was screwed up and likely going to make me sick. But I was instead belittled over not knowing their kitchen recipes, despite saying multiple times over the phone "no meat". There was no confusion when the order was placed and it was read back to me multiple times, so it really just comes down to them just not caring. We ordered the following which I'll recommend. $22 Alberto's Burrito - delicious. This was recommended by our waiter. Fresh avocados, well seasoned burritos, large portions. $16 Bean & Beef burrito - my kiddo's fav. He devoured it. $16 - 3 tacos combo - plate was clean when all said and done.
