I have tried them before and it was alright as I had recently go into Filipino food once I started dating my Filipino boyfriend. I would rate this higher than The Heritage in Federal Way as at least their food is hot when you receive it. My boyfriend and I frequent the The Outlet Collection so he always pondered if this was a good spot as we usually don't eat in the mall since there aren't too many options. They do have a pretty solid deal for cheap that comes with pancit and lumpia, but my boyfriend added a longanisa too. He says that it is good mall food but not authentic Filipino food, as he comes from a family who has quite the cooking background. However, he says he wouldn't mind eating here every once in a way as long as they have the deals. Went with my coworker for lunch as we were shopping for some work clothes around the mall. I had high hopes but it ended with disappointment. The menu is based off of 3 combos. Combo #1 gives you one entree, combo #2 gives you two entrees (if you order pancit, this considers as two entrees), and combo #3 gives you three entrees. I ordered the Kare Kare while my coworker ordered the Dinuguan. This was combo #1 for $9. The Kare Kare's beef was too dry while the Dinuguan was too sweet and salty. Was lucky enough to get here around 11am when the food was fresh. Got the small #1 combo that came with pancit and 3 pork lumpia. Man, everything was delicious! I love the pieces of sausage they had in the pancit. It was savory, a little peppery and addicting ( I will get a bigger portion next time). The lumpia was still hot, fresh and wonderfully crispy. While I thought my food was okay, it was a little pricey in comparison to the other places nearby. The paper sign listing with the price of each Combo including tax was helpful and located where you order the food. However, it would be helpful to also move the sign that states your place will charge a 4% FEE if a customer decides to use their debit/credit card. This sign is located next to the cash register behind the plexiglass. I was fortunate that I had cash on hand, and they deducted the 4% fee from my total. read more

Considering this restaurant is located in the Outlet Mall (mall food), their homemade dishes are pretty good and authentic. I suggest getting the 2 entree meal. Your choice as to which entree you'd like to try. Can't go wrong with chicken adobo and a hearty soup with rice, or pork lumpia and pancit with rice. And they will even include the appropriate accompaniment of sauces that goes with your meal - nice! I appreciate that they label each dish being served as well as on their wall menu. This is helpful to those that aren't familiar with ethnic foods. In addition, the staff are helpful and nice about answering any questions. I also appreciate the fact that the food area is always clean - thank you! I love all their food with the exception of the Sisig (pork dish with chili pepper). This dish is suppose to be a savory dish with chili spices, but they serve it sweet (not pleasing to the palate at all!). For those of you familiar with this dish, you know what I mean about savory vs. sweet. Please, please, speak to your chef about correcting this dish. I understand that every province has their own way of cooking, but this dish is not right, regardless of which province. Every time when I visit the Auburn Collection mall. When it's time for some food, this is my go to place in the food court. I mean there are also other great restaurants at food court as well. Pepa's they are pretty authentic if you want to try like some of the basic Filipino food. Not to mention, that their lumpia is really. I usually get the combo 2 with Rice and pancit, and two entrees you choose. My favorite item is their stir fried pork belly with veggies. It's sooo good. Their chicken curry is pretty good too, as well as the chicken adobo. Overall, a great restaurant for a quick grab if you are hungry while shopping at the mall. read more

I was shopping at The Outlet Collection in Auburn, and wanted to get something quick to eat at the food court. And then I saw Pepa's Lumpia! Anytime I can get Filipino food I'm all about that life, and Pepa's turned out to be yummy! I saw on a sign at Pepa's that for all of December they have a breakfast special where you can get silog for less than 10 bucks, with your choosing of a protein. I decided to order the Chicken Adobo Silog and the cashier mentioned that there were a ton of other food items that weren't out in the display case because there isn't enough room. But they have every traditional Filipino item you can think of, so I jokingly-but-not-jokingly told her I'd be back for dinner to try the other items. From lumpia, to sisig, to halo halo, they have plenty of options for anyone who loves Filipino food! My Chicken Adobo Breakfast was delicious. The combo comes with garlic rice, fried egg and some pickled veggies on the side. The chicken adobo had good, vinegar flavor that makes adobo so yummy; and I especially loved when the garlic rice got some of the sauce, making it all the more delicious. The fried egg was overcooked, unfortunately, so couldn't eat much of it since it was pretty stiff; but the pickled tomato went well with the rice and chicken. It was an affordable and solid meal! Anytime I am back at The Outlet Collection, I'll definitely make a stop at Pepa's and work my way through the extensive menu. Oh, and did I mention they have SISIG FRIES? I hate when I get my hopes up. When I expect things to taste like home. Maybe they're from a different region of the Philippines or something, but the adobo and the lumpia isn't like any other I've ever had. It's not terrible, just not what I was hoping for. The lumpia was luke warm, and half of them were burnt. The adobo was tender and decent. The bbq pork was okay, but a couple pieces on the stick were all fat which was kind of disgusting. So far so good food wise. They have been open for a year and 3 months. The pancit is like what my aunt makes, their speciality is letchon sisig and haven't had anything like it! So bomb! Highly recommended! Their letchon kawali is good but you can only buy it per pound. Can't ask for a half pound, which I found odd... The day I went the owner was there so she said ok. The service and the reason why I gave this place a low rating was not because of the young gal that worked there, at least was somewhat polite. I was pretty offended and put off by the owner who had commented on my weight (she had let me get that half pound of the letchon kawali because I looked "hungry" as her and the young gal (who laughed) eyed me up and down). I am Filipino and I know that they are superficial when it comes to weight and isn't shy to say it to your face. We are in America and that is offensive. Yum yum yum! Earlier today, my sisters and I went to the commissary because I was craving pancit and Lumpia, then headed to Outlet Collection Mall. While reviewing the store directory, LUMPIA stood out. I wasn't expecting much from a Filipino eatery in a mall but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the 1 choice plate with half white rice and pancit with a choice of chicken apritada. And I had to get Lumpia Shanghai for the family. Lumpias a are not freezer bought for sure. These were "homemade" lumpias. There was more filling than usual, tasted better and so much more crispier. My younger sister got the 2 choice with all pancit but opted for the pork adobo and spicy chicken wings. I was too full to try it but it must've been good as she commented, "now I know another place to get Filipino food." While my sister got the 2 choice as she wasn't paying attention and opted for half rice and pancit, chicken adobo and pork kawale. She pounded the kawale. I did get a chance to taste the chicken adobo and it was very close to tasting like my mom's. I agree with my younger sister that we will be back the next time I'm in town. read more

***3.5 Stars Overall*** We eat here about 2-3 times per month. The food is typically yummy and service is friendly. Today, however at 645pm they informed us that they are not making anymore Turon, i.e. banana roll, which is listed on the menu as made to order and out of sisig, a staple here. The chicken adobo is juicy with loads of flavor. The lechon (fried pork belly) is crunchy and yummy, especially when dipped in spicy vinegar and soysauce mix. Pinakbet is well cooked and vegetables not too soggy. Pork sinigang is nice and tangy. Pansit, even though it sits in a warmer, tastes remarkably well. Pansit Pilabok was freshly put together and tasty. My mother had fresh vegetable lumpia with peanut sauce, and she enjoyed it. We have eaten here 6+ times. We will eat here again. read more

Good for a quick snack and a cold Halo Halo. The colorized coconut jelly taste much better then some of the bubble tea places around town. Taste like real coconut. Not only was the cashier really rude and ignorant but I ordered the Lechon Kawali 1/2 pound & it was already sort of cold & made wrong. There was no tomatoes or onions on it as it should because that's how the original dish is made. I'll give them the credit for making the pork taste good cause it was seasoned well enough but I would not recommend it to anyone. I'm really disappointed. And for the cashier who wanted to be a wench - if you don't like your job, quit. Snatching the money out of my hand was so rude! And not only that- you couldn't even say hi or smile! This place ALWAYS remembers me. I don't know if it's because I am their only alternative filipino girl they see. Or because I always get Lichon and rice with adobo sauce over the rice. They did have a white lady working there a couple months ago... and she messed up my order. But I am assuming she didn't grow up eating this so she didn't understand what I was asking for.
