West Shore Home did our bathroom remodel in October of 2025. Sebestyen was the salesman. After he measured, worked with us on what we wanted and gave us the price, we knew right away we wanted them to do our remodel. He wasn't pushy at all and stayed professional. When the time came, Theo and Alec were the ones who did the remodel. They were professional and clean but best of all, they were determined to do it all in one day. I don't think I paid attention when Sebestyen might've mentioned that if they do the flooring, they will also put in new baseboards so that was a nice plus. We hired them to put in a new shower, flooring and toilet. When we saw the finished product, we were more than happy. They did an amazing job and right in time before family came to visit. Recently in January 2026, we noticed the caulk separating from the wall and the shower. We reached out to West Shore Homes and they honored the warranty and sent Austin to come and re-caulk. I am still amazed at how quick and experienced they all are. Austin was in and out within 20 minutes. He made sure we were happy with his work before leaving. read more

One word to describe our experience with this company: Nightmare. Have plenty of pictures if you want to see. Do not fall for their scam sales tactics, especially how they really play up that it'll be complete in one day. It's "complete" in one day with shoddy workmanship. Also, EXTREMELY overpriced. They come to fix their mistakes (like leaving work out of code, punctures in piping, incomplete caulking that causes water to dribble out of the bottom of your shower onto the floor in multiple places, unlevel shower doors so they don't even close correctly or completely, a bubbling shower wall, and more...), costing you more of *your* time; yet, here I go to flush my new toilet and the handle breaks. This is after two full days of them *re-doing* the *entire project* and then a guy having to come after-hours to fix a leaking fitting-- while I was trying to get dinner on the table. Them redoing the job included them having to replace the toilet and floor they damaged during the initial job. Little snapshots of this whole experience. Saying yes to these people was a bad decision. And it feels worse that it seems like we worked with overall dishonest people. You have to know what questions to ask, you have to bring in a level and check them along the way, and they "upgrade" your project during the "fixes" when they had "guaranteed" the best at the start! For the price, we had assumed we could initially take them at their word. Unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a *major* headache, learn from us and seriously just run. read more

If you have a bathtub inside three walls that reach the ceiling and want it converted into a walk-in shower in a hurry, this may be the company for you. However, if this is not the case or you need additional improvements, I would not recommend West Shore. Along with the tub to shower conversion, we also had them install a new toilet, remove an existing free-standing shower, and install a new vinyl plank floor all in only two days. None of this was done completely or without issues. The existing tub had only a half wall on one side. They removed and replaced it with a full wall up to the ceiling. Five drywall fragments were installed instead of one full sheet. No access panel to the water supply lines was installed because they had the incorrect one in the truck. The free-standing shower was removed and six more drywall fragments were installed instead of three full sheets, not even large enough to cover the hole from the old shower head. Not all of the fragments ended on a supporting stud. Screws were not driven in far enough and a pocket door was damaged by screws that were the incorrect length. The toilet was functional but the bowl to floor bolts were not cut or capped and no flange was installed around the water supply line to cover the cut vinyl plank flooring. The vinyl plank flooring was missing a transition to a carpeted closet. All issues were documented and pictures sent to customer support. On their second visit they cut the bowl to floor bolts and only provided one bolt cap. No water supply flange, no transition, no access panel and no comment on the unacceptable drywall installation. On their third visit the last bowl to floor bolt cap and water supply flange were installed. No transition, no access panel and no comment on the unacceptable drywall installation. After about a month of continued frustration, I tore down all eleven pieces of their drywall and properly installed four new sheets with the correct screws and additional studs. I also purchased and installed an access panel and a vinyl to carpet transition. After sending pictures and receipts along with my complaints, West Shore reimbursed me for just the transition and the access panel. No comment or reimbursement for the cost of the four sheets of drywall. I was not impressed by their workmanship, or their customer support and would certainly not use or recommend them to anyone. read more

So first I'll start by saying our salesman Ben was very kind, respectful, asked about taking his shoes off when entering my home. Super nice guy & this complaint is not about him. He worked with us on price and getting us to where we were somewhat comfortable on price. My complaint is 100% based on the work we had done & how it was rushed, left unfinished & just done with little to no care. First of all, we were under the impression that our old flooring was coming up to lay down new flooring, as it was clearly cracked and falling apart. We were told it wasn't in our contract (which we had no idea it wasn't because we thought it was obvious that it had to come up) so the first day of having our work done they say it's not in our contract but they'll have to do it because it needs done. Ok cool, next day they come (an hour and a half late) and a supervisor tells me that it's not in our contract so they're not gonna do it they're just going to fix it and lay on top of it. We told them we were not ok with that since we're already paying $17,000 we wanted it done correctly, eventually after some back-and-forth, they agreed. So they took our closet doors off to do the flooring, but they did not put them back on upon "finishing" the job. So first thing we had to do upon seeing our $17,000 bathroom was put it back together..alright fine no big deal, we do it and move on. Upon inspecting our shower the fixtures are 2 different colors, the faucet & shower head are a different color than our grab bar and shelves. Alright. Noted. They also forgot to put the water cap on, so there was just a hole in our tub. Turn on the sink which was also moved upon doing the floor & our hot and cold is switched. Next morning my 9 month old daughter is in the bathroom with me as I do my morning stuff & find she has the bolt cap from the toilet in her mouth because it was not properly secured on the toilet as it should've been. Yum. So upon letting our sales men know about all of these issues.. we had someone sent to our house four days later, we thought to correct all of these errors.. He arrived (also late) (but very very nice guy) and informed me he's only there to put on the cap on the tub he's just a plumber and doesn't deal with the cosmetics. He comes out and tells me numerous other things that they did not do that he was gonna correct. I was not surprised, but I was grateful that he was going to fix it. All of these issues after paying $17,000 to have a job done that would've cost around $5-10,000 from a private contractor. We went with this company because we wanted it done correctly and in a timely fashion, and we didn't get any of that. It was done very quickly, but also not correct and now it's very drug out. My advice is don't go with this company and find a private contractor that will get the job done correctly even if it takes a little bit more time. Lesson learned here we will absolutely not be a returning customer and will make sure any of our friends and family know this is not the company to go with. read more
