Beware of what you are buying from this company, as they will not provide information about the vehicle's condition. I purchased a 2019 Chevy Suburban, but they never mentioned it was a rebuilt title; thankfully, my bank caught it before they sold it to me. I ended up purchasing a 2015 Cadillac Escalade from Debbie and Adam, which was the worst experience ever. The car had problems; they had not done an oil change on the vehicle in over six months, and the car ended up not starting at the gas station. The manager said it was the battery, but after we jumped the vehicle, it was not the battery; it was the starter that needed replacement. They said they would buy the starter from O'Reilly and fix the issue in front of the gas station. This dealership is not the best place to buy a car. If I could leave 0 stars I would, so buckle in this one's a trip. My wife saw a car from here she wanted so we decided to check it out. On the initial test drive our sales associate Ben answered non of our questions. We asked about maintenance, different features, and about any problems the vehicle was having, he said "the vehicle has no problems it runs perfect". We purchased the vehicle and within the same day the vehicle began to blow smoke. Immediately checking the vehicle maintenance settings on the dashboard we discovered the vehicle was over thousands of miles due for a routine oil change. The next day we took the vehicle for the oil change discovering that zip ties had been placed on the panel needed to access the oil pan and we couldn't get the change due to this. We took the vehicle back, discussing the problems and concerns we are having. The dealers admitted to knowing the vehicle was well overdue for an oil change (what was left of the oil was burned to tar) and needed screws but they were kind enough to tell me that auto zone has them for $6.... My wife and I decided we'll take the vehicle for a full inspection and maintenance diagnosis discovering the vehicle has a blow gasket resulting in the head gasket needing to be replaced, a 5,000+ bill only 4 days into owning the vehicle. We've attempted numerous times to reach the dealership via telephone but I'm not sure they know where it is because they NEVER ANSWER. Throughout this process we were assisted by a total of five different people. Someone different for each step of the purchasing process. I wouldn't recommend this place to go to take a shit better yet buy a vehicle. Save your peace of mind, time, and money. Learn from our mistake. read more

Bought a car-it ran nicely and seemed okay. It needed break pads which seemed okay for the price--but it wasn't just break pads it was the whole break system. And my son couldn't do it himself because of how badly everything was rusted. The whole under carriage of the car was rusted. So after paying $900 for the breaks, two weeks later the Axle broke and that busted a bunch of other stuff when it fell on the ground. The car lasted like a month. I tried to reach out to them and they didn't respond. I contacted BBB because it shouldn't have been sold in that condition but got nowhere with that either. Trying to get rid of it now to a junk yard but I don't even have the title yet. Shady, scam, don't go here. This struggling single mom Wasted thousands of dollars I really didn't have. I wish I would have only looked at the reviews before purchasing from here and I would have known. And originally when I clicked on the Facebook marketplace ad they made it seem like I'd be buying from a person not a dealership. Unacceptable altogether. They need to be shut down. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND SEND PEOPLE TO YOUR HOME TO ATTACK YOU....LITERALLY. I would give ZERO stars if I could. These people refused to take a payment after only being 2 weeks late. They tried telling us we were five payments late and payments were due every week. We went in with our contract and our receipts proving payments were once a month and they laughed at us and still refused our money and said they just wanted to take the car back. Last night they sent a tow truck to get the car. The guys they hired were told by west coast employees to take the car by any means necessary. I got HIT by the tow truck driver, literally. He backed up into me and pinned me against my car with his truck. I was then sat on, elbowed in the face, neck and chest and repeatedly kicked by the second male while I was sitting in my car. I'm approximately 120lbs and female the man that assault me was about 215-230lbs. YES I HAVE BRUISES ALL OVER ME FROM THIS. Police reports were made and I'm filing a lawsuit against Westcoast Auto and the tow truck company they hired. read more

Complete SCAMMERS! I have been looking for a used car on Craigslist for several weeks now. This place, Westcoast Auto, runs *hundreds* of ads on CL in the "for sale by owner" category. By owner...riiiiight. Sure. I flag all their FAKE ADS, but it's hard to keep up. Advice: Be very suspicious of all CL ads "by owner" from Tacoma. Ad clues from these scammers, besides the location of Tacoma, is that the cars don't have license plates on them. There is no information specific to that particular vehicle - just generic info. i just want to know how this place is still in business? back in june i purchased a rebuilt title 2013 Dodge Journey. the car didnt even start when i test drove, but they said they replaced the battery, all right. it passed the inspection by the state, i paid for it. they told me ON THE SPOT if i noticed ANY issues that their mechanic would fix it for me. immediately after taking my car home i noticed MORE AND MORE wrong with this car. i contacted the dealership, even WENT IN, and they said they couldnt do anything and told me to contact Ali. Ali said he would get everything fixed, then stopped responding to my text messages and calls. i have been trying to get these issues fixed for MONTHS now, but everytime i say my name or the car the dealership hangs up or i get immediately ignored. took my car to the mechanic because it stopped running and guess what? i am paying almost $3000 in repairs when i was told everything was perfect. when i was told Ali would get any issues fixed for me. I am paying so much more to get it fixed, and the list of whats wrong with this car is IMPECCABLE. engine leaks, fucked up battery, steering leaks, demolished bearings, snapped window fluid hose, fucked up LED wiring to where the headlights dont work, ETS is messed up, tires bad, the list goes ON AND ON. so many issues when i was promised THERE WERE NONE. and the fact the dealership have all collectively agreed to ignore me after saying they would fix them all, is just ridiculous. the service is terrible, the employees are terrible, the dealership is built on scamming innocent people of their money and then ignoring them when they catch on. i will be contacting the BBB immediately, and writing multiple posts so EVERYONE knows not to purchase ANYTHING from here. fucking ridiculous read more

I recently purchased a vehicle from Ali. The guys that work there are so nice and welcoming. I read all the reviews and some people can honestly be really mean, these are kids WORKING just like every other person trying to make a living. These are USED cars so not every single one is going to be in perfect mint condition if you want that go to a new car dealership and pay full price with all the added fees and shady deals. Here they are very straight forward and make a deal on the spot. I had a really nice experience with the team here and I would recommend them to a friend if they want to find a car for a decent price. Can't say enough good things about Ali he was very amicable and offered me a great deal on a vehicle. All I can say is make your own judgements and actually go and see a vehicle. Worst experience I have ever had in customer service, period. This is the first time I have ever left a bad review of anything, but I wanted to put this out there to ward off anyone from buying anything from these people. Bought a car from them that had some minor exterior/cosmetic damage, but later found out that there was far worse problems with the steering, brakes, and engine. I would consider most of this on me as I didn't get the car checked before purchasing (like I know one should). The real problem is that I called them FOUR times to have my license plate and registration sent via mail, every time they said they "weren't sure why it wasn't sent but that it would be sent today." I called again the day before my temporary license expired and was told that it was still in their office in Tacoma (2 hour drive) and that I could "come to pick it up today or have it mailed to me." Completely irresponsible staff; I regret giving this business my money more than I regret buying a lemon from them. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

Buyer beware this place sells lemons not cars. I bought a black Dodge Ram with a hemi. First day when I got home it turned off. Took it back next day, they had me drop it off at this junk yard/ towing yard. They only replaced a sensor. Took it home turned off again. Called Ali told him what happened brought it back. Supposedly dropped it off at the dodge dealership went to go look for it at the Tacoma location so I know what's wrong with it but nope didn't find it. I ask Ali he said it's there. Anyways after weeks later they game the truck back. This time I recorded the truck turning off while turning to show Ali. He gave another Dodge Ram this time not a hemi. My wife liked it so we took it. The temperature gauge was weird didn't mark correct. Then after a week it started to over heat. I replaced the radiator because it wasn't holding the coolant. Didn't fix the problem changed the water pump, thermostat and sensor. Nope now I'm looking at replacing head gaskets. Let's just say the loaner car they let me borrow ran better than the two trucks I purchased. Avoid this area I should of known better when I saw the interior dirty on both trucks. I went there riding my Can Am Spyder, a motorcycle trike that probably none of them could afford yet they sneered at it. Then, I checked over a pretty decent-looking Mustang convertible they were selling. The top appeared not to be working. Neither did the power seats. "Oh I'm sure they work, you just don't know how to do it". ??? WTF. I'm thinking , "look jerks, you're selling this car. You should know how to work the accessories on the jalopies on your lot and whether or not they have issues". I was still willing to take the car. Though I didn't have it on me, I had cash, I just had to go to a nearby bank the next day ( my bad, it was Sunday). Give them "credit" though..they offered to sell the car on a discount as long as I could put it on a credit card (yeah like I'm going to give them my plastic number. I'd just as soon phone it over to Walla Walla). I didn't need to finance, a bad idea at places like this or any other car lot if they're doing the financing.. Found a car online, messaged the person and they told me to come here and take a look at it. I arrived to look at the car and the price was too good to be true! I went through the car from top to bottom, and found out why before even test driving. In the description that brought me all the way out there it was low miles, good breaks,with no engine problems and heat and AC works. Upon inspection found the breaks were gone and it was metal on metal, the AC didn't work and there was a knock in the engine that I only discovered when I took it above 50. Got back and pointed this out to them and they said it was probably a spark plug, I am no mechanic but a knock is never good and when I looked at the engine I could tell they have already tried to fix it because there was fresh tool marks. So with all this information I wanted to know their rock bottom price because even with the issues if I could get it at the right price it would be worth it. Bought a 328 i and it came with many problems that didn't even show up until we started driving home which is always nice I know I should have done a better job and look and wish I looked because check engine light came on both right side windows are broken back is off the track the right front doesn't roll up all the way. More to that the radiator cracked so did the reservoir also two engine codes and they told us the radio worked and come to find out nothing about the radio worked at all it was broken and the right inner tire rod was bent so it has a pull. I tried contacting them and they said they couldn't do anything and basically told me to fix it and avoided all my questions and the guy I messaged about the car never replied to my texts or calls and didn't even read my messages so I would say never come here I truly wish I didn't buy this car from here and I wish I looked on here before I even came because I wouldn't have. Wow, I don't know where to start. Maybe with the part that when I walked into the dealership, a group of men just sitting around grilling food looked at me like I had just interrupted a private party or the fact that the very unprofessional sales boy told us that he had listed the vehicle for the wrong price, OH maybe the part where the owner himself lied to us and changed his story multiple times over the course of the next month. We brought to their attention that the car had some things that did not work properly (yes, its a used car). We wanted it and had been looking for months for this specific vehicle and the repairs were minor enough that we decided to purchase. We test drove it and decided to go through with the sale. Only 14 hours later the car wouldn't run and started to overheat. None of this was disclosed when the car was sold "as is". I contacted the dealership and the owner sent me all of the carfax reports (that's why they get one star... That, and the fact that you cant give ZERO). The owner also assured us that the title would be mailed to us with in ONE week. Being that I am from out of state, I was only able to get a 3 day trip permit from Washington state before having to go to the DMV in Oregon to get another. I contacted the owner multiple times before getting a reply. He had sold me a car with out the title (wrong on his part) and offered for me to return the vehicle (i'm assuming to cover his ass). How sketchy is that?! I drove 4 hours to pick this vehicle up, now you want me to somehow bring a broken down vehicle back? After a month, I still had no title in hand. He had a different story about it each day.. He asked me not to go to the DMV and report it and not to rush. I was honestly starting to think that I had just purchased a stolen vehicle! He asked what he could do to make it better, I said get me the title ASAP before I have to purchase another permit since this is due to your negligence. He agreed. I sent him my PayPal information, reminded him and asked again about it. He kept saying yes, he will. He did not. I had to purchase yet another trip permit (you only get two). He text me a couple of days later and said he had received the title. GREAT NEWS! I never received payment for the trip permit and I don't expect to. This place is sneaky dishonest. Got there to look at a particular car, when we pull up the guy says they are pulling the car around to the front. Car never came. So this guy starts walking us around the car lot. He has all these cars with super low miles which seemed to good to be true. however the car we went to look at was never there. The whole place seems really sketchy and dishonest. I just drove all the way from Bothell to buy a Volvo S60 with "no mechanical errors" When I arrived, it was warmed up and backed in, (I assume because they didn't want me to reverse it as the tranny's going out). It rumbled horribly as it accelerated. Especially from 1st to second. While they had cleared the error codes before I got there, the check engine light flashed and beeped at least 3 times as I test drove. Upon returning and telling Sam (the guy who conned me down here) I'm not interested, he simply said goodbye. No explanation, no apology, didn't act surprised, didn't ask if I'd like to see another car, just bye... I saw an Offerup ad, thought it was a private buyer but when i called and spoke to John he said it was being sold through his family's dealership. When I read all the negative views on this site, i was definitely worried that the car I was interested in was either not going to be there or some sort of scam. Well I was wrong. I was looking for a car for my daughter to take back to university down in San Diego. I was specifically looking for a rebuilt title as long as there was no frame or flood damage. I didn't care if it was body work that caused the rebuilt title. My daughter is not done hitting things and buying a newer low mileage car would be a waste of money. I found a rebuilt title low miles car that was right in my price point. It was being listed at almost half of what a clean title version was going for!!! Everything John said was true, rear end damage which totaled the car but had been repaired back to factory new. When I got the Carfax it was exactly as he said. All the maintenance records were on there, no other issues whatsoever!! I checked the car inside and out and was in excellent condition. He even detailed it for me again before picking it up. Do your homework people! They will print a Carfax for you for free. If you are buying something older that Carfax doesn't have any info, its like the sticker says, sold "As is". Anyway, John actually lowered the price a bit more as it needed new tires. The next day I put new tires on and my daughter and wife drove it to San Diego the following day with ZERO issues! They were even averaging 40mpg!!! That was back in August and the car has been great! I would buy from them again as long as i do my homework on the vehicle.
