When I called the receptionist, I received an immediate and friendly response. I then sent in some photos of the broken water heater so I could get a quote. I was amazed to receive a full and detailed quote (costs, arrival time, and a description of the job) within just 20 minutes. The following morning, our plumber Ryan came over to repair our water heater. He was friendly and efficient, making everything seem easy. I got the sense that he really cared. Most excitingly, Ryan did an excellent job and I finally got to take a hot shower again! I was very impressed with Victory Water Heaters, both from a cost and quality of service perspective. They carefully removed the 80 year old gas furnace from the crawl space and patched all holes. They installed the air handler in the attic and carefully cut in all new vents in the ceiling. Duct runs in the tight attic space are installed with the highest level of care and craftsmanship. They were extremely diligent about managing dust and mess; the only sign that they had been in the house were the new vents in the ceiling. As an architect, I have the opportunity to work with a lot of different contractors. So as far as my garbage disposal working again, that went well. First off, I called him the day before he came and everything was fine. We agreed he come at 8:30AM. I text him my name and address. I also asked if he could install a light for me as well. I know he isn't an election, duh. But I was trying to kill two birds with one stone so why not ask? He said he could do it! GREAT! The next day rolls around. I called him at 8:31AM exactly and told him I was running to the ATM, which would only take about 15 minutes. He said OK, he was at Home Depot and would be on his way. I didn't mind because I was running late as well. But that's where it started... Around 9AM he called and asked where my house was on International. Um, I text you my address the day before, so I feel as if you should have directions to the location ahead of time and not be calling me 30 minutes after you where supposed to be here to ask where I live. He called again about 20 minutes later, by this time he had arrived. He came in. He did "fix" my food disposer. He took it apart to find the clog and there was not a clog- that took About 20 minutes with no luck. So be took his vacuum and sucked out the blockage, which took less then 5 minutes. He started packing his tools. I asked if he was still going to install the light, and he looked at it. Took a deep breath, and said there wasn't enough time. UMMM, IF YOU WEREN'T LATE MAYBE YOU COULD OF AT LEAST HAD TIME TO OPEN THE BOX! He said he would come the next day to install it, then charged $75 dollars for the bullsh*t... $75 bucks for 30 minutes of work and all you had to do was vacuum? OK. AWESOME! He came the next day and attempted to work on the light. He opened the box and told me I needed to call an electrician. Waste of time! I told him I was NOT at ALL happy with his service from yesterday, and the crap he pulled today. He got loud with me and yelled "OH OK YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK BECAUSE YOU WERE NOT HAPPY! HERE YOU GO!" And handed me $20. And left. I never ever want to deal with someone who's customer service is this rank. He is not courteous of how you feel as a client, your schedule, or your budget.
