Ask for Jose or Sergio in Service, really like the Video Overview our Mechanic sent me, felt like I was right there in the Bay Good Service!

My first car-buying experience was absolutely the best. Within a few hours of inquiring about the CX-50 Hybrid, Julian gave me a call. I was able to come in that same day -- no waiting -- and we got straight to business. We test drove the car and went over all the features. Julian's knowledge of the different models and trim packages was exceptional, and just like that, I was set on my new car. Next came the part everyone dreads: the signing process. But Julian, Sam from finance, and his manager Charlie did everything they could to meet my needs, find the best rate, and offer add-ons -- all without ever making me feel like I was being "sold" to. I truly appreciated their no-pressure, no-BS approach to doing business. Mazda just gained a customer for life. Thanks, Mazda Westcott, for making this a perfect first car-buying experience.

Undisclosed markup of $995 for no accessories on this used car, but they will remove it if you replace it with a $3200 extended warranty

Bait and switch! Car was listed at $25,995, but they tried to sneak in a $995 "add-on" fee at signing. When I pushed back, they'd only remove it if I bought a $3,200 warranty. Total scam move. Had an appointment, waited 45+ mins, then got interrupted mid-signing by another customer. Deceptive, unprofessional--avoid this place.

Came here to get my Mazda serviced. As far as dealers and service centers go, this is one of the smaller ones, and getting appointment for scheduled maintenance was bit prolonged. They however were friendly and provided us with a loaner vehicle, thus making our choice almost trouble free.

I would like to share my two past experiences from the service department at Westcott Mazda .The first one happened in 2024 I left my car for service on a Friday and I was never called to pick it up basically I was left without a car for about 3 days and no one in that department had the time to call and inform. The second bad experience just happened this past 9-3-2025 I again left my car for service and when I picked it up I was told by Sergio "service manager" that while pressure washing my car they had unfortunately damaged the car hood. At that moment I was told by Sergio "service manager" that they would take care of this and fix it since they were the ones to damage it, to give him a few days to get quotes and that he would get back to me with a solution for THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED. I shared with him that it was ok I understood and that I had no hurry being that I had already fixed that CAR HOOD in Tijuana about a year ago. Today 9-11-2025 I decided to call them to check up on the status of my case and I simply got no answer to my phone calls in return I received a text that stated "we will no longer cover any damage since you had previously taken you car to Tijuana and since they use water paint to fix cars this was prone to happen". First and foremost SERGIO "service manager" whether I took my car to Tijuana or China previously for paint job is not relevant to the fact that when I left my car for service on 9-3-2025 it was undamaged from the CAR HOOD. Second I never consented or signed a policy that states if any damage happens while my car is getting serviced I could not hold you liable since the paint was not the original one. Lastly I never consented for my car to be pressure washed. You have been playing with me for the past week about getting quoted even having me do all the leg work on something you are not holding responsibility for. I was very understanding and calm about all of this because MISTAKES HAPPEN and you now have shown me a horrible side of MAZDA a place that has serviced my car for the past 6 years since this is the second car I buy from this same dealership. I want to remind you all that it is a choice to go get services thru Mazda that there are much cheaper places to go to and for everyone to be aware of the treatment I am currently receiving and that any is also likely to experience. I am disgusted by the service the lack of empathy and poor customer service. I have provided the last response per SERGIO "service manager" where he basically manipulates my initial response. Again if you know you are at absolute no fault why would you have your company provide me with a LOANER car. Second of all I took the keys to my car because I trusted you in fixing the damage I shared what had been happening but AGAIN I LEFT MY CAR FOR SERVICE WITH A FULL PAINTED CAR HOOD & YOU DAMAGED IT SO YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR.

If you have any issues just talk to Henry, please go straight to Henry. Outstanding dude, I'm not going into details I did have some issues with the way the salesman handled the situation but it's been fixed, ultimately he's the one actually responsible of the dealer and he handled the situation.

From the initial phone call until I picked it up, the crew at SB Autohaus explained everything they found, the work they needed my approval for to move forward and the detailed pricing that I should expect to see on the invoice. My car sat in my driveway for a couple years bc it was just cheaper to drive my Honda. When I took it in there was some type of leak, the brake fluid was sludge, my wipers were cracked and crusty. They kept my car for two days and replaced all the tubes and fluids that needed replacing. I was pretty adamant about getting new brakes but they said no, drive it around first because there was still a good amount of padding and I wouldn't need brakes for a while still. No upselling, no pushy "you might need this and this and this" like other places, just a clear and concise description of what needs to be done and a checklist of what to look out for in the future. After this experience there are two things I do know - I will probably buy another Benz bc of it's reliability and once it's out of the original factory warranty, I'll take it to SB Autohaus for Service A & B and whatever else needs repair.

Compared to the dealership, their prices are a great value. I had originally planned to have the work done at the dealership, but after learning about their 20% first-time customer discount, I decided to give them a try. Initially, I only needed my brake pads replaced. However, my car started displaying battery warnings, and both AutoZone and my Mercedes-Benz advisor confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced as well. Since I was already planning to come here for the pads I decided to have both services done here. I dropped my vehicle off around 2:00 PM, and it was ready by 9:00 AM the following morning, which was a very quick turnaround. My only concern came after reviewing the invoice. The total seemed higher than I expected, and after taking a closer look, I realized I had been charged a diagnostic fee for the battery. When I mentioned the warning messages, the staff said they would "check it out." Had I been told they would do a diagnostic to confirm and charge for that, I would have declined it and simply proceeded with the replacement. That said, this experience would not stop me from returning or recommending this shop. The service was professional, the staff was friendly, and the work was completed quickly. My only suggestion is that if you already know exactly what service your vehicle needs, make that very clear upfront so they don't run a diagnostic that is not needed.

The event was so frustratingly stupid that I just had to message my friend as soon as it happened. The following is the conversation: Me: "Hi, I was just wondering if I could get a reading on the amperage my car pulls when it's running." Employee: "why?" Me: "I'm trying to put a system in my car, but I need to know how many amps my car pulls while it's running. My multimeter doesn't read past 10 amps." Employee: "well first of all, a multimeter doesn't read amps because it's a clamp meter that reads amps." Me: "I mean, a multimeter does read amps.. it's just that mine has a 10 amp limit and obviously a car is going to have a lot more than 10, so I just wanted t-" Employee: "multimeters never read amps. And even if they could, it would just be AC. Cars run on DC, not AC. So even if a multimeter could, it wouldn't be able to read DC because that's just the way it is." Aside from the whole interaction being extremely unprofessional, for someone that works at shop where they INSTALL STEREOS, how do they not know the basic functions of a multimeter?? Based on his little "theory" im surprised this man even knew an amp was. In the hopes that the employee I spoke to sees my review, I would like to showcase not one, but TWO of the non-existent, logic defying multimeters reading amperage off a DC solar panel. Or maybe solar panels don't exist either?
