I had a fantastic experience at Western Carpet. I had already been to Carpet Liquidators, where I was quoted $816 to recarpet roughly 150 sq ft bedroom with a carpet that cost $1.59 per sq ft. I then went to Flynn's and was originally given a quote for the same price carpet for $963, and then they offered to price match CL's. I went to Western Carpet Center to round out 3 quotes and kind of hail mary in hopes that the industry standard cost for recarpeting a single small bedroom was not close to $1000. I walked in, and was helped by Dave, who was incredibly kind and helpful. I had a similar carpet picked out and paid for in 15 minutes and given a quote that was almost $200 less than Carpet Liquidators. The carpet was installed by 2 awesome guys who had the carpet done in approximately 5 hours and they got right to work. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. Jeff was amazing. I called in the morning and he came out that evening to measure. He talked me through every piece of it and made me feel comfortable with the process. When I went into the store he walked me through all the options and didn't try and upsell me. He communicated very well and gave me a great feeling about the deal. The carpet looks amazing! They came out and installed about 500ft plus a number of stairs in one day. I really like the work. The actual installers were a little rough, I could have done without their blasting conservative talk radio but they were nice and did good work. They cleaned up almost everything but I did have to do 3 minutes of sweeping after they left. All in all a good experience, a great carpet, and a fantastic price. I'm a big fan of this store. It's great to do business with just plain folks and that's Western Carpet Center's claim to fame. The showroom is far from fancy, but all that matters is what shows up in your home. They have a great end-roll section, their installers were quick and didn't waste time. What I've learned over the years about carpet stores is that you gotta make sure you get what you ordered. You may have paid extra for the plush pad, but unless you're there when it happens, the plush pad may not make it under your rug....and how would you know the difference. You need to work with someone you trust and that's a big part of why I've purchased carpeting from Western Carpet Center. read more

Received recommendation from son. Will was prompt in providing estimate, seemed good quality and value. Told installers would arrive between 9-10. Did not arrive until noon. Numerous calls to Will, always promising they would be here soon. No company sign on vehicles, so probably contractors who don't care about promises made, or being prompt. No satisfaction from Will after the fact of giving estimate. Installers did okay once they finally got here except for making closet door no longer closing. Did fix when pointed out. read more

Came into Western Carpet Center based on Yelp reviews. Unfortunately I was not nearly as impressed as some of the others who have posted. The gentleman who greeted me seemed confused as to what I was looking for (laminate and carpet, not all that confusing), and I felt like I really had to work hard to get directed toward the products I was looking for. I am very happy with my experience with Western Carpet Center. My husband and I needed to get some carpet replaced in our house and had shopped around a bit, but could not find a match to our existing carpet. Western Carpet Center had the exact brand and style that we were looking for and we were surprised at how reasonably priced the materials and installation were. They came out to our house to confirm the estimate and then came out a couple weeks later to do the installation. The installation crew was friendly and respectful and did a great job installing and cleaning up after themselves.
