Check your invoices carefully. They overcharge. I had several types of work done by Pac West Floors. When I reviewed the invoices, I found several discrepancies. I was charged for Sales Tax on the Quotes and again on the invoices (double charged). I was billed for work that was not done, etc. All together overcharged $1400.00. Tried to work with them, first person - yes, we owe you refund. No refund. Sent info to owner - no answer. I have invoices to verify claims., read more

Excellent product and service. We contacted 3 different flooring companies on the onset of the pandemic in the spring (we had flood damage) and only Eric responded with a "can do" attitude. His store was closed, but he asked us to meet him there so we can look at our options. He was friendly, extremely helpful and detailed. He offered us several options within our price range and gave us the pros and cons on each of our choices. After narrowing down our selection, he immediately checked availability and sent us several quotes. After confirming our choice, he scheduled our project and he sent Elite Flooring to do the installation. He stayed in touch with us (and made a couple of visits) while the project was in progress to make sure we were happy with the work being done. Since this was an insurance claim and the pandemic slowed everything down, Eric was very patient with the payment schedule. Suffice it to say, we highly recommend Eric and Pacwest Floors. read more

We purchased a home in July 2014 and our first undertaking was to install tile in the formal dining room and carpet in the library. The owner, Eric, spent a lot of time with us understanding the "look" we wanted and helped us choose the products accordingly. He has a great selection from which to choose, btw. We scheduled the installation about a month in advance. Eric's tile guy was AMAZING. I've never seen a contractor work so fast, meticulously and competently. He tore out the old flooring and laid the tile on day one. Left no mess and hauled away all the old flooring. He came back the next day and grouted the tile. It looks fantastic. It is one of the most "wow-factor" rooms in our home. The next day, the carpet guy arrived and we had our new carpet installed in a couple of hours. Again - a hard-working, fast and very competent worker. Overall, we have been extremely happy with this whole process. Not only was Eric great in helping us decide what to get - but his crews were efficient, fast and do great work. I've hired a lot of contractors in my 50+ years, but this has to have been one of the better experiences. I'd use them again. HIGHLY recommended! A+ read more

We picked PacWest Floors to install wood flooring because it was on Angie's List and to avoid the national big box stores like Home Depot. The people were friendly, but what should have been a quick job took much longer. Communication with the store was also harder with most calls having to go through the salesman's cellphone. Phone tag was the name of the game. They sell products similar to other places, but what was disappointing was the finished job. There were several places where the fit and finish we're like what the average do-it-yourself homeowner would do. For example gaps in the fit, places where the trim wasn't nailed correctly, etc. Would I use them again or recommend them? Probably not. Let's say that just because they are on Angie's List doesn't mean they're better than another company you might find through a Yelp or Google search. read more

We needed new resistant durable flooring in our large master bath. Pacwest quoted a very competitive price. Their installer came out on schedule, completed the work in a very professional manner and it looked beautiful. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything, you couldn't even tell they had worked in our home. The floor has been there for over 3 years and still looks new. We hired PacWest Floors to install bamboo flooring after comparing price and Angie's List reviews. Eric is quite friendly, however at the end of the day the balance between price and quality is what matters. Although I don't expect everything to be perfect, I am surprised at the exceptionally-poor quality of work performed. The finish job is terrible. Eric's installer left large, irregular, and loose gaps at the corners of trim (which I had to fix) and in transitional areas. Most of the stair treads PacWest installed seem to fit poorly, creak loudly and many move when stepped upon. The top lip of the stairway fell off shortly after it was installed, and we found other trim work that was never fastened to anything. We described our disappointment with the work to Eric, who agreed to fix the pieces that had fallen off, but did not agree to address the poor quality finish work or creaking stair treads. My wife and I both liked Eric (which is why we didn't initially write a negative review), but the final straw that motivated this review was when one of the stair treads fell off recently, causing a safety hazard in our home (also, after the step fell off we realized that the risers don't seem to be secured to anything). -------------- UPDATE ------------------- It took about a week, but PacWest sent a different set of installers to look into the problem stair treads. This crew seemed FAR more competent than the guys who installed the stairs initially. They ended up re-installing every stair tread and riser after discovering several major problems with the initial installation (it turns out that the initial installation was even worse than I realized). All of the stair treads and risers now seem to be securely attached and the horrible creaking noises every step made previously seem to have been corrected. They also addressed a few of the finish issues. As a result, we are giving PacWest a higher rating. Given all the problems and the reluctance of PacWest to correct the problems until faced with a major safety issue, I can't give them a great rating. But its tough to run a small business and Eric generally seems to want to correct the major problems. If you are looking for a balance between cost and quality, PacWest may be a good option for you. read more

Eric, the owner, was professional, friendly and easy to work with. I appreciated his help with narrowing the choices to what product would be best for what I needed, ie, stand up to heavy traffic in the entryway as well as being waterproof for the baths and kitchen. Plus I liked the products he offered. He also promptly provided all the documentation required by my HOA for approval of what I wanted done. I kept changing my mind about which direction to lay the flooring, so when it was delivered, Eric helped lay out a box of the flooring in the two options possible so I could get a better idea of how it would look overall, very nice. Dan, the installer, was also professional and did a great job. He explained how the moulding going from the flooring area to the carpeted area would need to have a gap at the bottom over the vinyl planks, so it would all be level at the top. He suggested using quarter round to finish off the bottom in the vinyl plank area. I thought good idea, but it looks very nice just the way it is. Maybe I'll do it when I'm looking for another project. I particularly liked the job done cutting the bottom of the door frames to slip the flooring underneath. Looks like it was just meant to be that way. Since the name of his showroom is ...Floors and More, I asked if he did counter tops too. He worked with Andrew Shubin at Pro Granite to order the quartz for the kitchen and find remnants for the baths which helped keep the cost down. Pro Granite was great too. Very pleased all the way around. I plan to have him replace carpet in the near future and possibly replace the tiles around my fireplace. read more

PacWest Floors has done two projects for me, both of which turned out exceptionally well. The first was my 1,300 square foot professional office in Bothell. The flooring installation was flawless, and the owner Eric also arranged to have one of his subcontractors create a stone accent wall that is a beautiful custom feature in the space. Second, my wife and I hired PacWest as a key provider in a large-scale remodel of our 3,200 square foot home. PacWest handled all of the flooring (hardwoods and carpet) and also coordinated the fabrication and installation of our quartz countertops. From start to finish, PacWest was professional, responsive, timely and cost effective. Very satisfied, highly recommend. read more

I used this company when it was located in Mill Creek. They did match carpet pricing for identical carpet I found elsewhere. There installers were rude, not very experienced. They did not speak English and got quite angry when I pointed out places where they had scrated floors, walls and furniture. Denied doing it. Had to bring the owners wife in - she was not helpful - stood behind the installers and not the customer. I pointed out ripples in the carpet after it was installed - she said they would disappear after a couple of weeks. They never did. I tried contacting them several times to fix - they never returned phone calls or emails. It has gotten so bad I will now have to hire someone to come in and restrech. I am not sure what they won awards for - is sure wasn't customer service. I would not recco this company. read more

PacWest is a fantastic! We used them twice and were more than pleased both times. Eric, the owner, knows what customer service and satisfaction mean. The first time we used PacWest my wife's sister was coming to visit. My wife was totally embarrassed by the worn out, musty smelling carpet on our first floor. She gave me about 10 days to get it replaced. I called several high rated floor companies but only PacWest responded. Eric understood, came the next day with multiple samples, measured, and quoted me. He would have it completely installed prior to my sister-in-laws visit. I received a quote from Great Floors as well. PacWest was lower and I simply liked Eric's honesty about flooring choices. We replaced carpeting with a beautiful laminate that looks like hand scraped wood. It was done 2 days before our visitor arrived. We had additional floor replacement but left that for later. Well, same scenario a year after the original installation. My wife told me her college friend was visiting and we needed to get the rest of the first floor replaced - bedroom and closet. I contacted Eric and he did it again! It all looks great. One additional consideration is service after the sale. The laminate in the bathroom was not sealed correctly and some of the floor was lifting. Contacted Eric and in a few days the problem was completely fixed with no charge to us. read more
