And then the doctor proceeded to minimize all concerns, didn't know about my other doctors concerns or testings or imaging, and tried to blame all symptoms on trauma, anxiety and imagining things. The doctor didn't even do a physical exam. He did look at one spot on my skin that I pointed out (one of the many), but he did nothing else. Didn't even order any testing, even when he was unaware that I've had testing (he was just willing to let me go without any investigation). Even with photos and videos and lab results that verify my symptoms. Ya, just completely dismissed, and it just felt like a scam.

The office filed the first claim incorrectly and it has been an absolute nightmare since. I have appealed the claim ect ect and have received no help. I get a call this week that they are sending my bill to COLLECTIONS. Which messes up your credit even though THEY KNOW there is an ongoing issue. HORRIBLE OFFICE AVOID AT ALL COST. It isn't even about the money its the principal of the matter. There is 0 reason an assigned PCP visit should be my responsibility. Shame on you.

Nothing truly moved the needle until I started working with him. As a business owner, a mom of three boys, and a wife, I went from living a full life to barely being able to get out of bed. I had over 30 symptoms, and in my 40s, I truly thought I was losing my mind. It was one of the scariest and most isolating seasons of my life. I was not about to roll over and die when I had two young kids at home! Dr. Dorninger figured out through an obscure blood test that I had toxic levels of SEWAGE in my blood!!! Gross!!! He told me how to figure out where it was coming from to stop the sewer gasses from leaking into my bedroom. For 4 years I have had a "bacterial infection" called Haemophulis Influenza or H Influenza not to be confused with the common Flu!! My PCP did the best he could by prescribing me antibiotic pills for 50 days with no relief or cure. He referred me here May 19, 20, and Dr. Ayyar said I tested positive for H Influenza on Feb 27, 20 so she refused to see me unless I had a Corvid-19 test when I have no fever or any symptoms!! First, this infectious Disease Specialist doesn't know the difference between a bacterial infection and a virus? Second, if it were a virus, I'm not going to have it over 10 weeks after I tested positive for it! Plus, as my PCP said "we're not here to be afraid we're here to treat patients." Dr. Ayyar has no business working in Infectious Disease if she's so afraid of catching something that she refuses to see patients!!!!

I was quoted an out-of-pocket (not in-network) price-per-day for the I.V. drug I would need to take daily for the next 45 days. It was going to be $75/day. It was a lot but what choice did I have? So I agreed. The infusion started. Before it was over (within 30 minutes), the (very nice) nurse came over to state their billing department made a mistake and it was actually going to cost $140/day. Then she came over again to say, oops, the price had jumped to $175 a day. She seemed truly apologetic and encouraged me to seek treatment elsewhere, almost as if this level of price-gouging was a normal procedure for them, and one with which she was morally conflicted. I told her I'd find an in-network provider. In the time it took me to do that, I still had to continue my infusions there uninterrupted for three more days (although the final day was only $105, for a reason they didn't explain -- probably because they were making all these prices up). Skip ahead two weeks and I received a bill from them where they added an additional $175 to each day due to a "clerical error." I told them I wouldn't pay it. The very kind person in their billing department seemed surprised that I refused to pay for their error, almost as if this kind of price-gouging was commonplace and the patients just pony up the dough. No thank you. So she told me to rip up the bill and rip up the next one, too, if one came. Good advice, and it earned you an extra star.

He referred me to his facility for this treatment, which I received from May until the beginning of July. The plan was for my colon to heal during this time. Becky and Antonio were awesome in the front. All the nurses were upbeat and professional, and I wish I'd have gotten all their names. I appreciate the care they provided, as well as that of Dr. Richards. This type of facility is interesting. When you arrive you pick your seat from an assorted variety of comfortable chairs. A nurse will almost always greet you even if she or he is unable to immediately attend to you. I had a PICC for my extended treatment, as did a lot of other patients, but there were still a lot of needles being poked in veins. This took some getting used to for me in an open, non-private environment. That's why I didn't take pictures--it just seemed too invasive. Kind of reminded me of my Step-Dad's dialysis facility. My treatment only took 15 minutes, and I rarely had to be there much longer than that, even on weekly blood draw days. These nurses multi-task exceptionally.

At that time, I was 5'10" and weighed 198 lbs (weight gain due to seizure/psych meds)--I'd always weighed around 128 lbs. before the meds. Every time I saw her, she was Obsessed about my weight. No matter for what reason I made the appt, it was always "your weight, your weight." My father was "50 lbs overweight" from age 65 up. He walked 5 miles a day, did push-ups, danced was very active & alert. Lost he 50 lbs & died of pneumonia after becoming too weak to be very active. Weight is NOT the guideline for health. My BP was always normal, all other tests normal. She ruined me for doctors. I mistrust doctors now because of her. Her PA was often high strung & freaked out. She kept telling me that one of my meds was a Schedule I drug. NO, it's a schedule IV. I know how to read & I have read the guidelines for psych' meds. She would shriek "This is a Schedule I drug you are on!!! It is VERY addictive!!!" Get someone who can read, please.

Dr. Vallejo-Craig was my PCP for a few years until she took an obvious dislike to me during an…read moreoffice visit because I had been on a pain med prescribed and followed by a pain specialist. She told me everyone abuses that medication and that included me. She accused me of exaggerating and lying through the whole visit. I thought she knew me, and understood us to have mutual respect. I discovered later, in reading her note from that visit in my medical record that she lied and misrepresented me, apparently to defend her behavior and prove me to be a drug seeker. She quoted me repeatedly as saying things I have never nor would ever say- including that I demanded pain medication from her, and lied and exaggerated. She documented fake details to make me sound like a typical drug seeker, including indicating that I was irresponsible with self care and health maintenance like dentist visit, physical, mammogram, etc. This was plain ridiculous as I'm scrupulous about regular health care and screening, and my last dental cleaning was the day prior! She went on to write misleading lies about our entire interaction. I've completely lost respect for her as a physician and as a person. I stopped seeing her and spoke to her very kind MA about it a few weeks afterward. She listened and validated me and that helped. However this experience of being accused, lied about and misrepresented in my medical record had a negative effect on my mental health and certainly caused me undue distress. I recorded every detail of this visit and a copy of her notes. I considered reporting her to her Practice Manager and the CO Medical Board, but decided not take the risk of her negatively affecting my relationships and earned respect in this medical community.
