We visited Western Sizzlin after a family gathering. Our party was about 16 people and a few infants. We were in the very back room which was close to the bathrooms and gave us some privacy. The staff were extremely attentive! Each time we went to make a plate there were numerous employees restocking, wiping down, and tidying every corner of the buffet. All of the food was fresh and hot. The buffet needed to be better. The fried Chicken was overcooked and dried out. The Chicken Leg quarters were undercooked. We called the manager to the table to show him the leg quarters had bloody spots in it. The steak on the bar was good as well as the fried catfish. Our waitress did a great job. I asked for a Military Discount, and they said they do not give Military Discounts. That speaks volumes. Not the best experience. read more

I eat here for the fried chicken liver, I can't find them anywhere around anymore. When I ate here first the liver was warm and delicious, but I came back a week later and they were so cold. I figured I'd try one more time and went back, they were cold again...Id rather not pay 20$ to eat livers and then be cold..liver is horrible when it's cold..but other than that, the other food seemed real good..my fav is prolly the fresh warm rolls..Liver to if it's warm. read more

This is the best buffet I ever been to. Golden Corral in Cullman always serves the same thing so wanted something different. Everything else closed down. This was worth the hour drive. I don't recommend eating here. Me and my grandparents went during the week and they weren't very busy, but for some reason the waitress was everywhere except for at our table. The service was decent, but the food was horrible, all the meat was dry and tough, the banana pudding tasted like mint and the turnip greens where bland and tasted old, even the peach cobbler tasted like it had been under a heat lamp all day. I really enjoy there food and service, I have been eating there since I was an little girl. But the fact that they are charging me $75 an hour to have my gender reveal there really upset me. I don't know when they started this but I hosted my sis in laws there and was never charged.
