On this visit we tried something other than our normal picks.My wife had steak and I had the Calabrian steak and shrimp.My wife said her steak was over cooked.Mine simply wasn't good.It was tough and void of flavor.The salad and breadsticks was good.I also had a amerreto sour.It was good.Otherwise I only got one glass of water therefore I left thirsty.Our server was good except not bringing enough water.Next time I will stick with my regulars and hope to get enough to drink..Then I may leave a good The Working Man Review. read more

This like any other Olive Garden location is horrible. Italian cuisine goes to die! The service is below avg and painstakingly slow, even in non busy hours. The carpet smells like mildew, the cutlery and plates provided were not clean appropriately. When we did finally receive our order, no one bothered to ask for cheese. We didn't have a choice because of kids being stubborn about eating here. Never again, pasta from Pizza Hut or Domino's beats Olive Garden offering. I wish I had more thumbs to give more than 2 down!! Did not bother taking pictures, we wanted out quickly due to the horrendous muggy odor. read more

The prices for the value of food just isn't worth it. Soups are subpar and they don't keep salad full or your drink. I will be surprised if it's not a steak house soon. read more

The grilled chicken was great but the daughter's steak was a little tough/ chewy and the wife's steak was a rare instead of medium. I told her to send it back to finish cooking it but she refused, that's on her. The sweet potato was tiny. They should've given me two at that size. But overall I'll be back. read more

I love olive garden nothing better that Chicken Alfredo with a nice Italian salad and a glass of wine.

We came in here for lunch and we liked it. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was friendly. We started off with breadsticks and Alfredo sauce, that was good. Then for appetizers we had the spinach artichoke dip and Stuffed Ziti Fritta. The Stuffed Ziti Fritta was pretty tasty, but the spinach artichoke dip was disappointing. I got the five cheese ziti Al forno and it's not bad. My aunt got the chicken Alfredo and she thought it was fine. The experience was nice, but the food overall was fine. It didn't really leave us wanting more. If you want to check this place out I recommend it because it's not bad, you might find something you like. read more

This is the new place in town! Although I have eaten at Olive Garden many times before, this location is new to Gadsden. I am not new to Yelp and I know that reviews of a brand new location, especially in its infancy of only a few weeks, can sometimes not be so kind. I will try not to be that way. We planned on going here since before they opened. Anticipation was high. My fiancé suggested we download the app and choose the waiting in line feature since we knew it would be busy. I did that and it said to check in once we got there. We parked in the parking lot and I checked in with the link the app texted me. Repeatedly. It said I had to share my location services. I did that. It wouldn't let me check in after several attempts. I finally went to the girl at the door and she checked her iPad and said my name and that I was on the list with my party. I said great! She said it would be 30 minutes or so. After 45 minutes I went and asked her how much longer it would be. She then asked me if I had checked in yet, after asking my name. This didn't bode well. It turns out my brother in law had signed up too and although I had checked in long before him, he received a text stating our table was ready as mine said I was still waiting. A little frustration there. We got seated and our server came out and took our drink order. The dining room is very nice! Nothing like any Olive Garden I've ever seen before! 20 minutes after ordering drinks 2 teas and 1 water came out. Then another water. 15 minutes later and a beer, margarita, and 2 glasses of wine were nowhere to be seen. We asked for a manager. The general manager Rick came to our table and was very friendly and apologetic after we told him we had been waiting 35 minutes for drinks. He left and returned with them. We had noticed that every table around us had already received their salad and breadsticks long before us despite having been seated long after we were. Again, new location, new people, I get it. We got our salad and breadsticks and very much enjoyed them. Our food finally made it out after almost an hour and it was well received by everyone. The portions were generous and the food was hot. The guy who brought our food to us was hilarious and had a great attitude! I wish I would've asked his name. He's a young black guy who said he had been working as a server about 2 years. Very positive attitude and friendly! We finished our meal and had food leftover which our server boxed up for us. We will come back, but may give them a few months to iron out the wrinkles. Rick was very friendly and helpful. I understand he has a big responsibility at this new location as their are big expectations! It's a beautiful new restaurant and a welcome addition to Gadsden! Give them a chance, then give them a break. It's a new place with new people, so be kind. By the way, they were out of Coors Light but had plenty of Bud Light. Nah. Thanks though! read more

Food was real good waitress could have done more to put our food to go that we couldn't eat and some other things.

The restaurant was clean with a modern touch to the decor. Certain areas seemed a bit crowded with weird walls and partitions to navigate through and around. The breadsticks were fresh and hot and the build your own pasta entrees were very good with large portions. Service was good. The prices were more expensive which brought into question value for the money. Overall a nice experience. read more

My friend and I visited this restaurant today. Our first time trying Olive Garden. We arrived at 2:45pm. The restaurant had very few customers. I ordered the soup&salad. My friend ordered chicken Parmigiano. We ordered a shrimp appetizer. We got the salad and drinks. The breadsticks were not ready our waitress told us. The salad was wet and mainly purple cabbage. Unappetizing. We didn't finish the salad or ask for more. 20 minutes later the breadsticks arrived. The waitress started making excuses about a "shift change" in the kitchen. Our waitress was very distracted. She periodically came back and asked if there was anything we needed. EACH time we replied that we needed our food. She brought my soup 10 minutes later. So then I was eating my soup while my friend had no food. It took an hour to get his chicken parmesan. The entire meal was horrible. It tasted like school lunchroom food. The waitress offered my friend a free dessert because of the wait. She also said she got us a discount on our meal, although we never saw a bill. She stood at our table and said our bill was $32.00.
