Wide variety of dishes. Buffet, steaks, salad bar, desserts, bread, and more. I have had lunch here three times now. I went again today with three friends and it did not disappoint. I had the liver and onions. I have had the liver and onions with a baked potato every time I have been here. It is the only place I know that serves this. I came here today 4/26/21 with a friend for lunch, with life and covid throwing curve balls our way this is the first time I've been here in a few months! The food was not very good like I remember. Fish had a bad taste, shrimp and veggies were not very warm. The salad bar was good but it always is. My friend got a ribeye and it just did not taste the same! I noticed the service was not good at all, several workers standing around talking and our server seemed like she just didn't care. I asked her why things are not hot and why the steak tasted different she said there is a new owner and he is changing a lot and rolled her eyes. I have seen this girl in here many many times she is not new and been here a long time, so I believe her. Her service was not good and definitely did not speak good things about the new things. Kind of makes me sad because the service and food quality is not the same. We waited a while with no drink while the girl talked to another table for several minutes. I hope they figure things out! As far as your standard buffet goes, this place was actually pretty good. Not as big of a buffet as like a Golden Corral but the food was much better. Good enough variety for my family of four and not badly priced. I would recommend that they label the food that's out because I wasn't sure which bin was baked potatoes vs baked sweet potatoes. Visited here within the past couple weeks for supper. For a steak, fries, and bread this place is great. Pretty much what I remembered growing up. I usually get the t-bone and love it. The buffet is probably not what one would expect if used to golden corral or similar. It is not as big or diverse. Those eating with me actually had their buffets refunded and followed along with me on a steak meal, and enjoyed it very well. Our server was very nice and attentive. Beverages were kept topped off and it did not take long for our meals to arrive. we will surely be back when able. read more

There is no excuse on why you should cook fries with shrimp I have a seafood allergy If I come here I am not able to eat fries because they are fried in the same grease they have two fryers on each side of the restaurant in the buffet area also the back kitchen they use to fry them separately but now they do not Drink machine in the front had out of order displayed on the machine the front line girl still gave us drinks out of it my wife's Drink had black mold floating inside of from where the machine has not been cleaned. The food, servers, and food prep employees are most always very good. The only issue I have there is the manager ( should I say micro-managers) are always hovering. As if when you order off the menu you are either going to steal food, or taste something off of some ones plate. What the hell does it matter, it has been paid for . I do not like being treated as if I'm a thief. I can only eat a small portion so I have to order off of the menu, so that I can take it home, with my meal a dessert is included. So usually I eat a salad and dessert first because I am not allowed to take them home. The servers are always nice and competent, but I'm quite sure they would be just as professional without someone eyeballing their every move. We have been here many times but the last 3 times they could not get our order right for anything. I asked to speak to the manager finally and was told he had to finish his paperwork first then would be out, when he did finally come to our table his only response when we explained to him what happened his response was "OK" with an attitude. I called the corporate office to speak with the district manager who didn't even bother to return my call. Poor customer service in my opinion. I've been eating at this restaurant for 22 years. Not everybody goes to the Sizzlin for the buffet. Yeah I have eaten the buffet also, but today I ordered off the menu. Today I ordered the beef tips and fries and a SIDE SALAD. With emphasis on the SIDE SALAD. Beef tips/onions and fries were good. Concerning the SIDE SALAD....I got to my table and the waitress asks me if I would like some dressing. Well of course....She then tells me that only the waitresses now can get salad dressing for the side salad. She explains that the policy now is that the waitress must get any of these 3 items: 1. Salad Dressing 2. Croutons 3. Bacon Bits She explains that due to people loading up salads, you basically cant add any items from the salad bar. So the waitress brings me TOO MUCH salad dressing. I had enough for 3 salads. Of course I spoke with the asst mgr on duty and and he gave me some sorry excuse that a few people have ruined it for the LOYAL (my 22 years) customers. And of course the waitresses catch all the grief for this stupid policy. And they shake their heads knowing its a dumb policy. This place is now the only buffet in town and I guess you can get tight with the dressing, a small amount of cheese or carrots when your the big dog in town. This place charges way too much for their buffet that doesn't even have decent food. Growing up in the south, I know what makes great southern food. Everything on the buffet tastes poorly made and as if it has been sitting out way too long. The only thing I even kind of liked was the baked potato bar, which the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way. If you are coming here from out of town (or if you even live in town) I suggest not wasting you money here. read more

This is a good place for lunch. If you go between regular meal hours the food on the buffet line will likely be dry and chewy. The service is good, but I have a problem with the fact that the management rides the waiters in public. I've seen this happen several times and it makes for an uncomfortable eating experience. Had family lunch at this restaurant on Saturday, January 21, 2017. My husband and grandbaby only 11 months old charged full price for buffet. We were asked to leave because they had another large party coming in. We had only been there 1 hour 15 mins. I had only had a half plate of food because I was feeding the baby. We were not disruptive or offered other seating arrangements. I would NEVER patronize this place again. We were not even offered compensation or take out food. At the behest of one of my coworkers I decided to try this place. Where do I begin. First of all the buffet is way overpriced for the selection. The condition of some of the food is something else. There were three containers of something with a thick film on top. Not sure if it gravy or what. I think some of it was supposed to be chilli. Beats me. The Salisbury steak tasted like something river would enjoy. A cross between alpo and ken-l-ration. The chicken was supposed to be fried. It tasted like it was baked. Also appeared and looked like it on closer inspection. The mashed potatoes were instant. You could tell from the grainy taste. The baked potato I think I saw it used during last years Stanley cup finals. The rolls were the best you can get out of a package. And they were cold. Wouldn't even melt butter. The veggies looked like they were cooked the night before and the reminder of the menu was at best mediocre. Do t think I will waste my money again. No mass read more
