I've been having my Vehicles worked on by Westlake for YearS now. I've ventured out couple of times but always end up going back due to Quality of Work. I've called before & they've not been able to get car in so I'd go elsewhere & then?? regret it. They're under New Mgmt which I didn't know until walking in for my Appt, No Lie~ I was scared!! I'm Great! Are they as Good like the last owners? Will they tell me I need more (than I can afford)? Most of all~Are they going to Rip me off? I can happily say.. They're Very good & did Not rip me a new one! This was 1St time I've left a repair shop & could 'feel' the work done soon as I drove off! Seriously~ it's an Amazing place as it's ever been! I've always recommended Westlake to Friends but don't think they went probably for same reason I'd been lil apprehensive~ it's way too clean‍ That's Crazy thinking~ I Know! Seems every single person I've referred to go here says 'Same' thing.. "Oh I thought that was just a Tire Shop not a repair shop.." I dunno... Maybe you drive by & think the same? Nope! Full on Repair Shop including your Foreign & Jeep vehicles (needing Mechanics go to special school) The Last repair they did to my Vehicle was after it was stolen & I had no Clue what Guy did to it. I saw what Mooresville PD did to it but I still Thank them from bottom of my !!! IF the motor was jacked up like inside of my car?? I was in for it Financially. Westlake put on Diagnostic Machine & listed Everything Needed to be done. I opted for everything that needed to make safe & price was under $1500. During the 2days they worked on it? I was looking online to sell for Parts! It's running better than day we got it! Sorry for Long review but they DEF deserve your Business! They are Not friends of mine actually I can't even remember New owners name but I should. I was too shocked @ price & that I can promise you. So I'm not getting new tires or an oil change for my Review. Oh speaking of but still 5 ..I used to get Emails of their specials for the month.. like Oil change or set of tires for $?? I currently live in Northport, Alabama. When I resided in Mooresville, NC Westlake was the one and only place to take your vehicles for any and all types of repairs. The then owner was extremely knowledgeable and the HEAD Mechanic/Tech, Mark, was and is the BEST! Both these guys were and are top notch. I've had pretty good luck with them. Very reasonable prices on routine maintenance, especially oil. Try going elsewhere and finding an every day price of $40 for Full Syn. Always get us in/out quickly as well. I do rely on other Yelp reviews but after I noticed the only other person, "Sharon", really only Yelps to complain and give one stars I knew to completely disregard her review. Why not five stars? As a person who's always done their automotive repairs due to bad experiences when I was younger I'm always skeptical of any and all automotive shops. I still do my own repairs but when it comes to new tires or a good alignment I have no choice but to take my car somewhere. So far I've had two sets of tires and an alignment done with zero issues whatsoever. Both times they had tires I was looking for as well. Not just whatever brand they want to sell you. Prices were good too. The alignment they did was done on a car with modified suspension with adjustable control arms and the young man who did the alignment nailed it! The car drove perfectly, steering wheel was straight and tires wore evenly. I have no experience with their mechanical repairs or oil changes but as far as tires and alignment I would totally recommend them. read more

We took our son's truck to them for a diagnosis of leak. They told us there were two leaks so our son repaired them. It was still leaking. I simply encouraged our son to take the vehicle back and let them know. When I called the gentleman was not very nice and I stated that I thought after paying for a diagnosis, it should not take three trips back to find out what was wrong. After this my husband wrote a review about the experience. From there, the owner interjected and was very rude. He basically said what did we expect for what we paid. We paid their posted price for the diagnosis. He then stated that we neglected the vehicle and he was sure that we would have more problems. I responded to him because he stated what we paid was incorrect. He then blasted me. I have reviewed all of their reviews and if someone doesn't give them a perfect review, they are chastised.
