It was a bit of a trek through rush-hour traffic from our hotel but so completely worth the trip. Discretely located through a door marked only by a red light above it we were warmly greeted by gentleman behind the hardware counter. We were prepared to answer with the password to let us in but for some reason it wasn't asked. No big deal. You are then sent through a door into the beautifully dimly-lit space of the speakeasy. There is plenty of seating, with small tables and some booths. We were shown to our table and greeted by one of the great, friendly hostesses. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar with one of the attendants. You immediately pay for your order which will then be brought to your table. Different but really a nice idea. The music was also nicely unique, with a mix of oldies from the 50's and 60's. An old black and white James Cagney movie played silently on one wall. In terms of the cocktails I have to say these are some of the most delicious and finely crafted drinks I've enjoyed. I began with the Start Your Engine, a delicious gin-based drink. My wife had an absolutely fantastic smoked Old Fashioned, smoked in a large box for a minute or two. Wow! Probably the best we've ever tasted. My second drink was another gin cocktail, the Last Word, which I'd been wanting to try for some time. A fine gin supported by green Chartreuse and lime, this was simply sublime. Highly recommended. The bar and menu is quite varied and extensive, so you're sure to find something to your liking. The space has a great vibe and mellow ambiance. Sufficiently dark, cozy and very nicely and eclectically decorated. Service was outstanding and informative. Reservations are recommended. Like many such places you are "limited" to 90-minute timeframes, which sometimes seems like not enough but ultimately works quite well. The quality of the cocktails, space and service all make for a really enjoyable time. Well worth many visits.

They make every trip there a pleasure and you can't help but leave with a smile, even if you didn't want to make a trip to get the right size screw or color of caulk. Thank you to all of them for always being so friendly and knowledgeable, for being a constant reminder of the small-town atmosphere of STMA, and for having a really wonderful selection of products in a convenient location. Please take the time to give them your business as much as possible over the larger home improvement stores.

Within seconds of making eye contact I was helped, led to my product, paid and out the door. If I lived in the area I'm sure I would be a regular. Prices are typical for any big box store so while sometimes you're wondering why a 4x8 sheet of plywood is my take home pay for the month, that's just everywhere. I never feel ripped off here.

BEWARE THEY SCAM YOU AND WONT GIVE YOU YOUR ORDER…read more This store is absolutely terrible. We purchased a club cadet riding lawnmower on Saturday may 2 2026. They said next day delivery. But then say oh wait no we can't do that it will come Thursday may 7 then oh no wait we can't do that but it will come Friday may 8 for sure. They gave me a window of 6am-8pm they can't give us a smaller window. So Friday comes we take the day off because we have a 14 hour window. Well guess what they send an email. No call to apologize but an email we didn't see right away saying no can't come Friday now it will be Tuesday may 12 with another 14 hour window. It's not like they don't have them in stock they had 10 at the store when we placed the order. Now Friday they have 7 in stock. They blame the delivery company. I don't care it's their responsibility to get me the item when promised. We paid over 3000 dollars and they won't deliver it to us. They keep making excuses with no apology just oh well if we don't want to wait they can just refund us. I've never had this problem with Lowe's ever. This is exactly why I don't want to ever shop at Home Depot again. They take your money then tell you they can refund you but that will take up to a week also. We are also about to spend 7000 in new appliances guess where we won't be getting them from.
