And EVERY-TIME I have been there (at least 2 consistent years) she has been intentionally condescending, rude, very unpleasant, and generally annoyed when asked any questions. Her attitude alone makes me hate walking into this store. If her intention is to make everyone else's experience just suck, job well done. I've even noticed the way she has talked to her coworkers and that alone made me uncomfortable. ‍.

But then say oh wait no we can't do that it will come Thursday may 7 then oh no wait we can't do that but it will come Friday may 8 for sure. They gave me a window of 6am-8pm they can't give us a smaller window. So Friday comes we take the day off because we have a 14 hour window. Well guess what they send an email. No call to apologize but an email we didn't see right away saying no can't come Friday now it will be Tuesday may 12 with another 14 hour window. It's not like they don't have them in stock they had 10 at the store when we placed the order. Now Friday they have 7 in stock. They blame the delivery company. I don't care it's their responsibility to get me the item when promised. We paid over 3000 dollars and they won't deliver it to us. They keep making excuses with no apology just oh well if we don't want to wait they can just refund us. I've never had this problem with Lowe's ever. This is exactly why I don't want to ever shop at Home Depot again. They take your money then tell you they can refund you but that will take up to a week also. We are also about to spend 7000 in new appliances guess where we won't be getting them from.

If I need something standard, boom they have it. If I need to return it, boom no questions asked. Many of the employees skew older, and they just know EVERYTHING. Can't count all the times I've asked a random question and they just start speaking a foreign language to me and offer instant help. I was going to seal an exterior porch I just built and the guy instantly was like, you need spar urethane. In my head I'm like, what's that? But it was exactly what I needed. Prices are typical for any big box store so while sometimes you're wondering why a 4x8 sheet of plywood is my take home pay for the month, that's just everywhere. I never feel ripped off here.

I take it for granted that we have such a wonderful home improvement store in Hardware Hank in St…read more Michael, but after two consecutive days (and 12 years since we've lived here) of above and beyond service from Rick and his staff and always finding the items we need, Hardware Hank and all of their wonderful employees deserve a major shout-out! They make every trip there a pleasure and you can't help but leave with a smile, even if you didn't want to make a trip to get the right size screw or color of caulk. Thank you to all of them for always being so friendly and knowledgeable, for being a constant reminder of the small-town atmosphere of STMA, and for having a really wonderful selection of products in a convenient location. Please take the time to give them your business as much as possible over the larger home improvement stores.

We have been to a few other locations that don't have as clear of signage, or have scattered their aisles. This location has interior decorating such as light fixtures, vanities, paint, etc. on one side. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc in the center. And lumber on the far side. Really convenient. Also the workers are actually knowledgeable on their areas. Often you go to a store and get a high school or college kid that only knows the location of items, but here they actually understand the materials and how to use them and can give recommendations. My only complaints would be the check out. They don't always staff the best so lines can get pretty long. Go on a weekday to avoid that. Also, their lumber yard is VERY disorganized and many times we are directed to the wrong area. That could use some serious improvement and is usually the worst part of our trips.

The selection never disappoints and the organization of the store is fairly easy to follow--once you get used to it....I'm the type of shopper that always asks where something is if I can't find it, (which has happened plenty at this store.) I can't say I feel their customer service is at its prime here. I always have trouble finding someone who works there to ask for help. A couple times even, I was at the back of the store by the appliances and I had to walk all the way up to the register! More staff readily available, por favor.
