Dog's waste pile up while their inattentive owners socialize. IDEA: pick up a pile or two before leaving. Plenty of bags and scoopers provided by generous donations. Dog parks are like playgrounds for children. Let'm run/play, but be watchful bc they are animals and need to be monitored for their and the safety of others. I hate going to this dog park because the regulars bring their dogs "favorite toys" and they expect no other dogs to touch the toys that they brought, and they stalk you around the dog park, forcing dogs to leave because they can't handle other dogs playing with their dog's toys. Why would someone bring toys to a public dog park and not expect other dogs to engage? That's what your backyard is for. read more

Great open space for your furry friend to play! Plus lots of seating for the humans :) There is agility equipment available to train, a nice "run" area in the back of the park (a long narrow fenced in area - some people were using this for training), and fresh water with bowls. The location feels very safe and secure. They do not have lights, so when the sun goes down its time to head home! There are several potty stations with poop bags PLUS HAND SANITIZER -WHAAAT?! Five stars for that alone! The grass is scorched, so be aware that if it has recently rained, it will likely be muddy. But it's still a great dog park! They are closed Monday-Friday from 8a-2:30p as the church is also a school. read more

On the second day of discovering dog parks, this is really a hidden gem! There is a real sense of "dog" community, in that, everyone is familiar with everyone's dog. The folks who frequent this park try to ensure that everyone's four legged companion gets along, and are not welcoming of aggression, which is very much appreciated. No one wants to have to wonder if there's going to be an incident, or chance someone will not control their pet. There are ample dog bowls for water, a little kiddy pool, and wash station, depending on how much your pup gets dirty. There's a good amount of seating, but feel free to bring your own chairs. What I enjoyed the most was, at least on this day, there was an nice mixture of young and mature dogs. I will definitely keep this park in the rotation for my pups! read more

This is the best dog park in the city. There is a free dog wash set up by the local scouts. Lots of water for dogs and humans. There is a covered area with seats and a few pieces of dog exercise equipment. The only reason I didn't give this park a 5 is because it is next to a school so it is closed Mon - Friday until school is dismissed. read more

This dog park is great! There are waves of people and their dogs that come and go that are all some of the nicest people I have met! There are plenty of chairs and spots to sit for human with amenities like complimentary bug spray in addition to 2 hoses with running water for dogs plus humans. The area is a perfect balance of plenty of space for a bunch of dogs but where you can keep and eye on your pooch. I recommend coming to this park for any dog whether it is a puppy or older dog. read more

This is the best little hidden dog park ever! I stumbled upon it on Yelp and thought I would give it a try. I have a big dog (45 lbs) and a little dog (11 lbs) so when I go to the dog park I take my little dog in the big dog area. For the most part she does okay but the last time we went to White Rock dog park she got attack and we left a little bloody. That being said I wanted to find somewhere with less dogs and maybe better owners. That being said when I found this dog park I was so excited. It's run by a church and in the back by the play ground. It's pretty small in comparison to white rock dog park but it's really clean, well maintained and never crowded. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run and lots of places to sit for the humans. There is also hand sanitizer right next to the poop bags which is awesome! I highly recommend you check out the dog park if you are looking for a low key clean park. read more

This is a great dog park. It's clean with new grass and a large area for the dogs to play. This was my first time to take my 8 month old terrier. I do wish they had a small dog area but it's open to all size dogs. My dog got trampled a time or two but over all it was fun. read more

Great dog park. People are very friendly, dogs too. People actually pick up after their dogs which is a blessing as my Labrador likes to eat nothing but, u know what. Now i have a spot where she can run, chase a ball. An at the same time hang out with my pug. Good grass, bathing station, a pavilion for shade, a kiddy pool for all the water dogs. There are not a lot of trees so going in early morning, late day in summer months is best. read more
