very dissatisfied. vet recommended "Synergy" for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. My one and two year old pups had nothing but ticks on them this summer Even as I used the meds diligently. Was informed after they're regular visit for vaccinations this fall they both have Lyme disease. my 4.6 lb little chi has to be on antibiotics . So after spending over $700.00 that week there, and charging me for synergy, they tell me that SYNERGY, doesn't really work for ticks! are you kidding me! So I was able to trade it for Symperica trio, for $30.00 a pill! I find out chewy has 3/ pills $54.00 free ship. Unbelievable how this place reccomends a shit product, nickle and dimes the customer! Do not trust them anymore and seeking out a new more knowledgeable facility!

The exam room also has a nice view of a nature area.

I am a new client. From the time I called to make an appointment, to the time I walked out of the exam room, I had a good experience with this clinic. The receptionist was friendly when I called to check in from the parking lot and I was greeted as kindly when I walk through the door. The vet tech came out to get me and said hello and then greeted my puppy. She was very knowledgeable, she took her time to understand my visit and treated my puppy very kindly. When the vet came into the exam room I expected to rush through the rest of the visit but, the veterinarian was just as attentive and took her time to ensure a quality exam. She asked questions and then educated me on vaccines and how dog food effects their health. Because I have a new puppy, she helped me with making a decision on dog food brands. When my puppy was getting his shots, the vet tech provided him with a silver platter smeared with dog food to distract him. Overall this is a very nice clinic, it's beautiful and the employees are kind, attentive and don't make you feel like you are just another customer they need to get in and out of the door. That was reassuring as I have had that type of experience elsewhere. Thank you Westosha Veterinarian Hospital!

Harris first dropped my sister as a client when she filed a complaint about lack of timely communication in an urgent care situation. Harris then waited for two months after I posted this review to drop me as a client; they did it when I emailed to get a refill but had fulfilled a different refill the week prior. Julie Keen, the owner's wife and not my animals' vet, noted in my chart that I posted a bad Google review and should not be seen. Harris also dropped my mom when they saw my Reddit post sharing all of the details of this situation. My original review concerns: My cat had an emergency appointment with Dr. Graham and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I was sent home without any follow up instructions or pain meds. He continued to get worse over the next day and when I called to ask for pain meds and question why I wasn't given them in the first place, the vet claimed I denied pain meds. The receptionists acted like I was irate and screaming at them when I called trying to get my cat the meds he needed to actually improve. The staff expressed concerns that they filled the medication wrong at check out and my mom had to explain how the med was originally filled correct and explain the dosing label to the staff member that was attempting to change how it had been filled. In two different incidents, my primary vet never responded to an email I sent about a dietary consult. My primary vet also didn't respond to me when I reached out to discuss what follow up was needed after an ER visit for my dog due to a new neurological incident. I had to edit my review to make space for the update. In my previous review I gave details about my sister's case and explained that the receptionists claimed she threatened them and called them the r word on the phone when she expressed her concerns about very delayed communication with an urgent medical need. Harris's response is commenting on that piece of the review when they say they do not tolerate mistreatment. They also accused me of threatening them and calling them liars but I recorded the call to prove what was actually said.

But logistically it just made sense to have a closer hospital relationship with our aging Bernese. Well...luckily we did that, because I cannot imagine life without the AHLV team now. Not just for their cute videos, the community fundraisers for socializing with other pups/people or the love for their team, but the utterly amazing intense respect and appreciation they have for the animals that come into their lives. Tear jerker time...Our oldest girl Tonka three years ago contracted Lyme disease. The full big girl version with lameness starting. We do not have human children, she is our little love filled fur baby. Dr Unger, Grace and Matt all gave me updates and not just "updates" it was with so much understanding and genuine care for our family that my scared/angry/sad/panicked momma heart actually felt comfort in our decisions and the best course of action to treat. I knew and understood everything that could and should hopefully happen. Their amazing staff brought my girl back to nearly untouched health and I still tear up thinking about it. We were lucky. But luck is only a very small part of it. AHLV is the rest of that piece. We are now a few years later and have our new "little" Leonberger pup that is of course going to them. With covid it's been interesting to say the least not being able to walk in with our pup. But I tell you what, when Grace's smiling face and Brittani's bubbly self bounce out of the door they are definitely aware that a 70lb 5 month old Puca is ready to rocket out into their arms with kisses coming very shortly after! Thank you everyone at AHLV for helping US through an incredibly scary thing with grace and patience and for all the care you show for even the normal appointments. I can't imagine in any way taking our Tonka and Puca girls to anyone else's arms.

A friendly staff will take down all your information and then will come get your fur baby from you at the car and bring them inside to see Dr. Estrick. Once they are inside, Dr Estrick will call you on speaker and will go thru the wellness exam. She was very thorough during the exam with my two dogs. Any questions I had, I mentioned to her and was given an explanation. I did not feel rushed at all. She took her time and made sure the dogs were healthy. Our dogs also had to get vaccines and routine bloodwork to check for heart worm. Pricing is reasonable compared to my old Vet. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming and you can tell Dr. Estrick genuinely loves her job and helping animals. Also, they are prompt when emailing results of bloodwork. I didn't have to call them to ask about the results the next day after waiting all day like my previous Vet. So far, I am very happy with my experience at Good Life Veterinary Care and highly recommend them!!
