Yesterday was the first time I tried west side pizza. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Had an authentic flavor, spices and the crust is perfect. I went back today and got another pizza. Wish they had an establishment in red bluff too. Looks like I'll be coming to Anderson more often. Oh and the price is wayyy better than any round table or mountain mikes. 10/10 recommend! read more

Just ok. Although, my husband and I have very differing pizza preferences and he thought it was great. I didn't think that the sauce was robust and flavorful enough. The crust, although cooked completely through, was too "bready". I prefer my pizza crust to be crispier rather than on the spongy side. I thought by ordering it "well done" that this would be the case. Ordered a half pepperoni, half mushroom. I was really craving mushrooms and was a little let down on the amount of toppings. The mushrooms were chopped pretty finely and were more sparsely sprinkled than I was expecting. My half tasted more like just a cheese pizza. Easy online ordering system. Always go shopping at the shopping plaza and see Westside Pizza. Finally gave it a try with the family. I ordered the Big Kahuna and added jalapenos. The order came out super fast, about 10 minutes. Located in the Walmart mall, we came for dinner after a long day driving. We are staying in Anderson and reviews of Mary's Pizza Shack did not inspire confidence. Westside is the corner business. High ceilings, industrial chic, clean, friendly with nice booths as well as tables. Staff is young, friendly, accommodating and energetic. They were busy cleaning, making pizzas, delivering pizzas, etc. Ceasar salad is perfect for two(as advertised). Westside pizza [we asked for thin crust]was fully covered with goodies. Good pizza and salads! A big group of family came in after a movie - right before closing. Nonetheless our service was friendly and attentive. We ordered two combo pizzas - the Westside and veggie. Both were delish. The crust is thick, almost Chicago style but not as tall. We asked for ours well done (so it's not soggy) and I recommend it that way. The salads are HUGE. And delicious. A few individuals ordered a house salad, thinking it would be a small starter. But those salads were easily 2-4 servings! The lettuce was fresh, green romaine served with plenty of mozzarella, sliced black olives and croutons. Two large pizzas, four giant salads and a pitcher of beer cost us less than lunch at Wendy's a few days before. Everyone was stuffed and happy. We'll definitely be back! read more

The food was absolutely amazing! The place was clean, the staff was friendly and I loved the tricks they did with the cups when you fill them with your drinks. Management ( I think her name was Kimberly) found out I was close friends with a staff member. She gave recommendations and even ate with me on her off time. Great conversation, very friendly. Kept saying something about having to let peacocks fly or something...(inside joke maybe) even though management seems to be a few slices short of a whole pie I give the place 5 stars!!!!!! read more

.I was there on 9-23-23. The place was very empty . Happy to find outthey had gluten and vegan pizza options. Male cashier was pleasant. We chose to eat in as we are not from that area. 1. As I went to find a seat, all the booth seating had dusty foot prints on them, tables not cleaned off. (Only one couple in the entire place). I had to go find my own napkins to clean my area off. 2. As we were waiting for our pizza a lady and a 4 year old came in. You could tell she was exhausted and stressed. She had a wagon with many items from the Walmart next door. She spoke to the same cashier that took our order. I could hear her say that her day was not as she hoped and she just was tired. She asked about "carry out". The cashier explained that carry out was cheaper because his staff didn't have to clean up after customers, wait on them, use their dishes and such! However with carry out this tired lady and child were not allowed to eat inside (no out side seats )! She tried to explain that she was waiting on an Uber and it would take awhile. The cashier refused to let her stay to eat the pizza she just paid for!!!!!!!!!! So I learned that I was charged MORE because they supposedly had to wait on me, clean up and doing THEIR JOB. When in reality, the place was dirty and I cleaned up after someone else! My heart broke for the woman. I am a single mom and it was rough to be low on money and trying to do something nice for my child only to be treated like crap! The place was EMPTY. So my daughter and I invited this stranger to sit with us. She was so nervous that the cashier would yell at her and embarrass her more! She got her pizza, her filled wagon, her 4 yr old and left. She stood outside for maybe 20 minutes waiting on the Uber. I am so ashamed of this place. I am also appalled that this place charges dine in customers extra when employees should not get extra for doing their job! That's what the company should pay them in wages. Be warned you are being charged extra for eating in and people who are struggling are being turned away and treated with disrespect. read more

I have nothing bad to say about their food their food is as Pizza should be hot tasty with a lot of toppings however if you are on a budget this is not the pizza place for you they have delivery and they have pizza but if you want a large 18in 4 topping pizza delivered within a 10 mile radius it's going to cost you about 35 or $40 not including tip and I'm sorry people I can't pay that much for a pizza not when I can get three Papa Murphy's for the same price but it for a sit-down dine-in experience or delivery if you can afford it they got some pretty tasty Pizza pie read more

This place is a JOKE, placed an order online. Currently staying at the RV park on Vacation. I waited 1.5 hours, I called and asked about my delivery. When I called I was then informed they have a $45 delivery minimum however it never stated that online. My order was $35, they said they can't go under the $45 delivery minimum. They stated they had tried to contact me however they can not call out of area code yet act like it's my fault? I guess the owners don't trust employees enough? In Anderson, this is my favority pizza joint and for several reasons. Ok the pizza is fantastic and a medium is a feast for two people but that's not why such a high rating..... The staff is so delightful and good at what they do. Friendly, competent, clean and courteous are the reasons I love this place and will suggest it to everyone I meet. It was great at first.... till we say down and watched our pizza being. The server was Steve and it was around 7:14. He started by scratching his back ... we were like okay he'll just wash his hands.. then he started touching money and went back to putting a pizza in the box. WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. then we went to the back and starting touching the cheese with the same hands he has just scratched his head and back !! I asked him to just give me a refund and he asked why and I asked him if they followed any health rules. He totally knew what he did wrong and apologize. Still wanted my refund.
