Excellent ambiance and view. The best Miso Soup I ever had and the Tiramisu was to die for. My server Emma was awesome and there were amazing people everywhere to take care of the guests. The hosts where welcoming and joyful. It's wonderful to sit by the fire and watch people skiing

The worst, and ironically most expensive meal we've had on the mountain. I would recommend skipping the overpriced "Asian fusion" which is really just "mediocre, Asian ingredient filled, food." We had the poke nachos, which were by far the highlight of our dining here. The flavor was nice, but the portion size was maybe 8 wontons crisps. We also had the green papaya salad, which could have used the traditional bed of sticky rice, to make this a more hearty and full flavored appetizer. Then we split a noodle bowl with tofu. This dish was a whopping $22 and maybe worth $10. The flavor was off, heavy with ginger and vinegar, while simultaneously being bland with peanut. Not sure how this was accomplished, but it was. We often eat Asian food at home, both traditional and chef inspired fusion dishes, and this place did not live up to any of them. Want to guess what our meal cost, even with splitting an entree? 80$ what?!? And not to mention it took a rather long time for our drinks to come out. My final drink was served with the check, which I took "to-go". This spot was not full and there shouldn't have been a bar back up. The wine, beer, and cider are all more costly than any of the other spots. So would I return? Nope. No thanks. Not again.

My friend and I sat here for most of our day while our friends skied and enjoyed the amazing service by Sara, Billy, and Steve. We tried their espresso martini, the toddy, the lemongrass marg and our waiter Billy's take on an Irish coffee for drinks and every one was delicious. For food, we had the dumplings, the lettuce cups, and the poke and those also hit the spot. The reviews referring to the price might be forgetting this is a big resort so the prices are going to match that. The service makes the price point absolutely worth it. We so appreciated the attentive service and Billy's great drink recs.

Don't need a passive aggressive waitress to spend $25 on a cocktail in a half empty place. Wow attitude.

Staff is friendly, and service and ambience are good. Food is pretty mediocre and limited.

I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning. The food and drinks were excellent, but the highlight of the night was Trent. We were looking for recommendations on things to do in the area, and Trent absolutely delivered. Scenic drives, sightseeing spots, Yellowstone stops, local attractions--you name it, he had a recommendation for it. The suggestions were coming faster than we could write them down, and every time we thought he was done, he'd remember three more places we needed to see. His food and cocktail recommendations were spot on, and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. As an added bonus, his voice carries exceptionally well, so hearing all of those recommendations was never an issue, even on a busy Friday night. Copper is a great spot, but Trent is what made the experience memorable. If you find yourself sitting at his bar, settle in--you'll leave with a great meal, a great drink, and a much longer list of places to visit than you arrived with.

Food and service was pretty average - we like to order an adult beverage before dinner and peruse the menu. We were told the bar was backed up so we should get our food order in. So, not a take-your-time kinda place. Not rude, but not chill. Shared a 1/2 portion wedge salad @ $12 - perfect for two and tasty. Main entrees were a bit disappointing: 8 oz Tenderloin Filet @ $54 was cooked a bit more than requested and it came with (2) baked potatoes which we've never seen before (+ $4 upcharge). The Pan Seared Trout @ $34 was prepared nicely but there is not any flavor; served w/ a Blackberry BBQ but very sparingly. Super bland. Would come back to visit the bar - would consider ordering a burger, but wouldn't return for the main entrees.
