It's my hole in the wall pizza spot...Love the steak and cheese, wings, meatball parm, chicken parm, fries, steak tips, cheese burgers. The bread for the burgers and subs is amazing. Swung by here when I was in the area for work with a coworker...he is from New Haven, Connecticut so one of the biggest pizza snobs on the planet. We were opting for convenience near the job site and didn't have too high of expectations, but we were both pleasantly surprised! The staff here were incredibly nice and we got to meet the owner too. I opted for a simple skinny cheese pizza with light pepperoni, and he went for the greek pizza. We both loved it! I'm also used to SF Bay Area pricing, and this was way cheaper. I stopped by Westwood Pizza, which is located in a quiet shopping plaza (next door to Blue Orchid). The place is very casual, an order at the counter place with self serve table seating and stool seating along the front windows. The counter area is small. The menu offerings include pizza, calzones, subs (6"-10"(sm)-12"(lg)), wraps, salads, pasta, chicken, steak tips, fish & chips, burgers, hot dogs, fried foods, Pepsi products, and Utz bagged chips. They also have baklava and wheat wraps.The prices seem reasonable, most items/dinners under $10. Lunch specials are offered here including 2 slices of pizza and 20 oz soda for $4.99. I almost ordered a large fish sub ($6.99 plus tax), but I eventually decided to order a small 10" Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pizza ($9.84 plus tax) for carryout. The pizza was topped with fresh broccoli, grilled chicken, and a light cream sauce, topped with melted cheese, slightly oily on top. The thin crust was soft inside, yet firm on the outside, slightly crisp along the not so thick edges. The chicken broccoli alfredo pizza was pretty good and tasty and the service was prompt, as my pizza was all set, hot & ready in 10 minutes as promised. read more

Was my go to for food but not anymore. They messed up my order and did nothing to fix it. FYI they consider powdered garlic the "garlic topping" so don't waste your money on that. Extremely disappointing service but at least there's plenty more pizza places around. read more

The prices here are high and the food isn't great. I got a wrap and an order of fries. The wrap was mainly the toppings very little meat. The fries where just cut up potatoes placed in a fryer there was no seasoning on them they needed seasoning luckily they gave alot of ketchup so I was able go eat them but if I didn't have ketchup they would've been trashed. They had some slices of pizza and that looked awful. The staff here was super friendly and nice. I was a little off put when I walked in and saw a sign on the door saying "happy to see all your ugly faces again" I can take humor so I liked it and walked right in but I know some people would be upset seeing that. The store/restaurant itself is extremely out dated and run down. All in all I don't think I'll return here. read more

I tried this place because it was on my way home but I'm not going back for pizza here. The bottom line on this pizza is the same as many home-town pizza places in New England as they cook pizza in pans. That makes for soggy limp pizza. If you want a good thin pizza, it has to be slide off the peel directly on the stone of a real pizza oven. The combination of the heat of the stone and the ability for moisture escapes makes the crust both crisp and chewy. Cook pizza in a pan you get crumbly soggy crust as it doesn't heat fast enough and the moisture can't escape. There are better choices for pizza around. There are some real Italian/Neapolitan pizza places popping up in New England. It isn't the wasteland of bad pizza it used to be 20 years ago. You don't have to go to NY, NJ, or southern CT to get good pizza any more. I recommend you look further than Westwood Pizza and try to find some good pizza. read more

Stopped by here during the lunch rush. Not many other options in the immediate area so the place was pretty busy. The staff was friendly and polite and asked how my day was going. Even with the pleasantries, they kept the line moving. The dining area was pretty spacious and kept clean. A small TV was turned to soap operas. There is a generic ATM just outside the building but I wouldn't trust it. I ordered the Raging Bull sub. The wait was less than 5 minutes. The 12" was noticeably light on the meat but otherwise very good. read more

I love Westwood Pizza!! Not only is the staff super friendly but the food is so good! Last summer me and one of my friends were hungry and wanted 2 get some pizza and where Westwood is so close to where I live we wanted 2 go here. However they closed soon so we didn't think they would stay open just so we could get some pizza. We called and they stayed open and extra few minutes so we could get something to eat which we really appreciated!! Another my dad went in and he was short one dollar and they said it wasn't a big deal which really meant a lot. I don't know 2 many place that would do that. Over the past few years, I have gone back and forth with Westwood Pizza so many times. I have finally come to a conclusion. While there are better options in town, this place is still a frequent stop of mine for a reason. While Westwood is a small little town, keeping the local businesses around is key. This place isn't the best by any means, but most importantly it's convenient and within walking distance of my house (maybe a mile). It's clean enough, has a nice seating area inside, has nice decor about Westwood, and generally speaking has friendly, happy people. While I do like other establishments pizza more, and menu options, this can sometimes be the best option because driving into Dedham or Norwood isn't always what I want or have the time for. For instance, I work in this specific area and if I'm going to leave for lunch, I have to be back very shortly. This is the only pizza shop I am able to get to and get back to my workplace in the necessary time. My orders are always correct and I haven't had any issues with this place in the past. It would definitely be nice if they extended the menu some and improved on some of the meals in which I feel like could be improved. Comella's down the road is my preferred spot, but they are busier regularly, and sometimes it can take much longer to get down their due to traffic. Overall, Westwood Pizza is by no means my favorite or ultimate destination for great food, but I go there because I don't necessarily have a problem with it and it's local. Average pizza shop, but nothing special. Within a few miles there are much more personalized spots, but hey, it's Westwood, and we only have a certain amount of designated land for commercial usage. 3 stars. read more

My bf and I have been wanting to eat here because we pass by it often. The front door says "no mask, no entry" which I was happy to see. However, that happiness turned to anger as soon as I walked in. Upon entering the restaurant the front desk lady was wearing a mask, perfect. One cook had a mask down below his nose and the other chef didn't have one on at all it was acting as a chin warmer. After seeing this I didn't even want to eat my food because I was so grossed out. I know businesses are struggling but if you are going to be preparing food especially, you need to wear a mask! On a brighter note the food was good but could be more for the price. read more

And that's too bad because we typically order food for our office (family business in Westwood) and now Westwood pizza will not be getting that business from us. read more

I ordered pizza from Westwood pizza and I received, after 45 minutes of waiting for my pizza a pizza that was completely soaked in grease, and was extremely bland. I have no complaints with the service, but I was not impressed with the pizza. read more

Jeesh....Some pretty harsh critics from some that have only eaten there once if at all. My family and I have eaten here on and off for 15 years and have gone to several other close pizzerias and always gone back, so they are doing something well! I have never had an issue with the staff. They are very friendly when they have the time and are not trying to take care of all their other customers and getting their orders delivered or picked up on time. They have many regulars from what I can see and honestly can say I have never had a bad meal or service while ordering out, or dinning there. After way too many days of turkey & turkey leftovers, I stopped in Westwood Pizza for a quick lunch today... wanted something other than poultry. The menu was your standard pizza/sub joint stuff. The pizza smelled good, but I opted for a sub. I decided on one of their new menu items - I think it was Cattleman's Steak, or something like that. "Grilled steak & onions with melted white cheddar cheese and ranch dressing." While it was being prepared I looked around and noticed the place was clean & well stocked. The staff was friendly and efficient. My sub was ready in about 7 minutes. It was served up on a very fresh, toasted sub roll. The shaved steak looked like good meat, but it had been grilled maybe just a minute or two too long. It reminded me of those "Steak-Umm" sandwiches. The onion was grilled to perfection and there was just the right amount of cheese sauce. Didn't really get the taste of the ranch dressing, but I didn't miss it, either. Overall, it was okay. I'm in the area frequently and wouldn't hesitate to stop in for lunch again on another day. Maybe next time I'll be ready to try a turkey sub or chicken parm. Or a slice of pizza. read more

Pizza is terrible. I called it in and they said 15 minutes. I got there in 13. Pizza was cold. In the car it smelled like the cardboard box. Had to add cheese to it and warm it up. Disgusting. Zero customer service. Do these people even want to have customers? So many other places are better. read more

Westwood pizza has descent pizza. Not the best but okay. They have subs and other sandwiches witch are pretty good but not the best. I would recommend going to Comellias witch is 1 minute down the road. They have better pizza and subs. But if Comellias has to big of a line I would go here. read more

OK at best. I would give this place one star but its the only place in town. I just don't understand how I can drive from Needham which has at least a dozen good pizza/sub shops to Westwood which only has this one over priced under portioned Pizza shop.
