Booking was very easy and the woman I spoke to was very polite. I have come to my work on a Friday afternoon. This is my puppy's first cut and I was a bit nervous and had very specific directions. When the truck pulled up a lady came to the door that didn't speak any English. I don't care that she only spoke Spanish, but how am I supposed to feel comfortable giving directions about how I want my dog to look or to be cut if she can't understand me and what if something happens and she needs my help but she can't communicate communicate with me. Red flag number one thankfully I had a coworker with me that speaks perfect Spanish Spanish, and she was able to communicate everything for me. I got the dog back. Cut is good. Looks fine little shorter than I wanted, but no complaints later on my dog stops, licking his genital areas and his butt hole so I look it over and I noticed they really shave that area all the way down to the skin and they nicked his butt hole. Totally not mad about this. I don't understand why they shaved it, but maybe that's how groomers do it and the neck on the butt hole. Also animals move. It was his first cut who wants their butt hole shaved I'm sure he was wiggly and that stuff happens but again I was never told that it had happened. Hours go by and now he's scooting his butt hole hurts him so bad and is now becoming inflamed and red and puffy and is now bleeding from him nonstop scooting. I cleaned it up and had to put him on siccation drugs for three days for his butt hole to not be raw and sore. All of this could've been handled with communication the cut was good. It was fine but I will never use this company again. They also don't ask for any medical records so your dog could totally be going into a vehicle where a super sick dog was and get sick because they don't require any medical records ahead of time and I'm also disappointed that they don't follow up to see how things go especially with a new client read more

Scary Company. They mistreat our dog & don't follow notes about his haircut. Instead of his regular adorable puppy cut, the lazy sadistic groomer shaved his gorgeous hair all off. He also didn't bother plucking out the hairs inside his ears, which is a MUST and supposedly part of the full groom package. I had Wet Paws for the first time last Tuesday for my fur babies. My dogs are both 12 years old and been groomed many many times. I have never been so disappointed in someone listening. I asked for puppy cuts and they were shaven! Also, I specifically asked the groomer NOT to shave their genitals and they did anyway. I will never use this groomer again. My dogs are traumatized!!! DISGUSTED! Horrible, poor customer service. Do not use them, they won't take responsibility. They did a horrible job on my Old English Sheepdog, they shaved his face after I told the groomer to not touch his face... He went so close and short that you can see the bones in his face. They offered me a 30-dollar credit for his next visit... I told them that made no difference, and then they offered me 40... as if 10 dollars or any money would make any difference... horrible customer service. The "manager" Alfonso has 0 customer service skills. Basically told me that the dog wasn't bleeding or injured, and it was nothing. Again, he said that "they took care of the groomer" as if that would make any difference. Obviously, he would not send the same groomer, but he thought I would be happy knowing he "took care of him"... just ridiculous I do not know who he thought he was talking to, and I understand that some people want to see someone get fired or whatever but this is not the case. First let me say that when I review somebody there must be a reason. Either somebody has done a wonderful job or they've done a terrible job. I have been using wet paws for approximately 5 years and when they were a small company they were wonderful. The owner was doing The grooming and his wife was answering the phones. It was a joy to have them taking care of my chutney. Unfortunately as companies grow they tend to overlook the care and needs of the customer and their pet. It is with this regret that I am writing today about the experience with our little boy. The groomer has done chutney before and did a wonderful job. Too bad this experience and shaken us to the core. When we got chutney back he was completely shaved and not the puppy cut that we have been getting for 5 years. I can understand a bad cut but to be shaved does not make sense. In fact when asked, the office told us that that was in the notes. We have in 5 years asked one time for chutney to be shaved because of medical reasons. He is such a good boy and doesn't deserve the treatment that they inflicted on him. At 13 years old he should be treated with respect and gentle love. Here is a picture of chutney after the cut it may be tough to see but grooming around the eyes was dangerously close to his vision and his ears were not cut to specification as well. In fact this is the second time we had displeasure with their grooming as one color cut his ears to the point that it almost seemed like they were just flaps of skin with no hair left. Bad day? I don't think so. Without regret when speaking to them and asking for some sort of compensation I was told that they have to pay for the groomer to come out as well as the gas to get there. This doesn't sit well with me as I have been in the service in the street way too long to not make some sort of restitution to my customer if I have done something wrong. As I write I am out looking for another groomer. Sadly, but I won't give somebody a second chance when they treat me and my pet with such disrespect. read more

Randy Kasden I used Wet Paws for the 1st time for my std poodle who has anxiety. Was quoted 95.00 to 105.00. When the groomer got here he said it would take 1.5 hours. It took slightly longer and the charge jumped to 115.00. Groomer said my dog did not have anxiety during the groom and she did well. Wet Paws claims because it took the groomer slightly longer the price changed!! My late husband was a mobile groomer over 35 years and A rated on Angie's List. He died suddenly 7 years ago so I know very well about grooming and pricing. A good company would NEVER up a quoted price merely because it took a few minutes longer...not even half an hour. Completely unacceptable. I understand razor burn or cuts can happen but this... no way. The groomer brought my buddy to the door and didn't say a word. We called, they sent the "manager" to look. He was friendly and seemed to care but the tube of neosporin he left and said sorry is a joke of a response . Again, groomer dropped him off with no communication. Pictures attached. If we could give them 0 stars we would. We got our dogs groomed and it started off with them showing up 2 hours before the appointment was scheduled. Whatever, we made accommodations. Next, they CUT our dog during the grooming process (yes, he is tiny) however, if you are unskilled enough to cut a small dogs hair without cutting and hurting them, why are you a groomer? Seems like he was too rough. When I Informed them I will not be paying them for their services due to my dog being cut and having to go to the vet they hounded me down and called me times within a hour for the money. They said insensitive comments such as "he will not need stitches" yet, my vet put in two staples and an antibiotic shot for the wound. Not to mention, the dogs barley look like they have even been groomed. Their hair is still long, and unclean. They used to spend hours at my house, now it's a rushed botched job. If you are like my family and care about your pets well-being, DO NOT HIRE THEM. All they care about is money, even if they harm your pet. read more

Very disappointing. I have used this company for several months. I booked Appointment a month ago, normally I receive a text to confirm the night before they come however I did not receive a text I called to hear a message they are closed . Hi. My name is Jenny , former groomer from this company . I'm here to share my experience and all we suffer working for this company. MR ALFONSO , does not give us enough time to even have a meal , makes appointments, with very little time resulting in risking hurting your pet, and if we take longer they will start calling rushing you to finish and head to next appointment. We get to the company at 6:30am and don't get back till 7:30 or 8pm driving all day around and under the pressure of his bad attitude. He will abuse us mentally and constantly with ending out employment if we don't do as he says including , spanking your pets around as he has obligated us to do. He has texted me several times telling I'm a trouble maker in the company only because I go against his injustice practices . Your pet in no longer save as there will be no one there to go against how he tread the pets and all the groomers as I was the only one trying to stop him from continue with his bad habits !! Just had my dog groomed by Wet Paws and the groomer decided to remove the leash so my dog ran away. My husband had to run to get my dog which runs fast. The Groomer didn't even apologize nor give any discounts for the bad service. We had to ask the groomer to please clean his paws since he was now all wet and dirty after running away.
