Aside from the crazy frozen daiquiri bar (something akin to what you'd find on Bourbon St. in New Orleans) this place is a gem! We went twice. During the day, it is a fairly quiet though somewhat dingy dive bar. We had chili cheese dogs. These were were amazingly delicious! My friends from Spain thought it was the best American food they had eaten yet. We went back in the evening for the daiquiri's. I personally think they are overprice and too sweet. Slushie Bar? Of course one has to try it out. I ordered the "call me a cab" slushie and my friend ordered the "sex on the beach" slushie. The "call me a cab" slushie was delicious but the "sex on the beach" slushie wasn't very good. There wasn't a cover when we entered. They music that was played was fun and upbeat. I think one of the coolest things about this bar was our table was in the back towards the bathrooms and apparently in the mens bathroom over the urinals is the other end of the one way mirror. Amazing service!!! I hadn't visited a Wet Willie's in a while but This location was amazing. The staff was patient and helpful in making sure you chose and drink combination that you'd enjoy. I asked the chick for the strongest one and she gave me a Wonderwoman, after the initial brain freeze that ur gonna get it definitely did its job. I've been here before several times, I haven't been in like 4yrs mainly because I rarely visit the Bluff City. The drinks are pretty strong, it's not one of these businesses that is a safe haven for the thugs. When I was there it like mostly tourist there and they was enjoying themselves to the lamest karaoke in existence of mankind! I was very pleased with this place! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken quesadilla and fried pickles. The fried pickles were nice and thick with a great batter. Great place to enjoy your weekend nights including Thursdays. They have karaoke and regularly live bands. The beverages are arguebly best. Very small place though, so I suggest getting there early. They also occasionally card ID's before entry depending on the capacity. read more

This place is a rip off for customers. Last night a friend took me there and.... first off they checked our ID's before we could get in the place, then we were just searched and ID's checked steps away at the entrance. Once we got in to Wet Willie's the cashier said my friends card was declined. He thought that was extremely odd so he gave a different tender. When he got home to check that card....the $15 charge was taken off both of his cards. So in essence, the cashier lied and charged him $30 for 2 drinks! Please don't let this happen to you. Tasty frozen drinks. It's the same concept as Fat Tuesdays and all those other chains you can find on the strip in vegas or on bourbon st. Maybe it was an off day, but the service was less than adequate (she was polite, but unattentive). As for the food, I was last to get my food (by 5 minutes) in our group (of 5) and it wasn't hot. if you've been to one wet willies, I feel like you've been to them all. This Wet Willies is nothing spectacular, I went during the day so it was pretty empty. I sat down to look at a menu, although we pretty much knew what we wanted, I just wanted to review all of the flavor combinations. I ended up getting the banana split which is composed of the white russian, monkey shine and the strawberry daiquiri. My bf got call a cab. The drinks are always good, same recipes everytime, therefore you don't get any surprises. The only thing I would recommend to this location is that their workers need to be friendlier! I work in the service industry & being a bartender I can tell you, these ppl have it soooo easy at wet willies! I wish I could just dispense a pre-made daiquiri and make tips and be done.. like seriously it doesn't hurt to SMILE. but all in all, good flavorful drinks def a place to stop in, order & go, hanging out in this particular location isn't really necessary. At first I thought Ray the manager was being an ass to my husband, until a worker walked up to him to help with the NCAA tournament guest and he turned him away inappropriately in front of all of the customers. As a Louisiana Native trying daiquiris any where other than Louisiana is risky in itself but I tried anyway. I visited this place while on vacation to Memphis on a night out on Beale street. These "daiquiris" aren't daiquiris. These are slushes or slurpies. Gas station fruit drinks. They aren't strong and aren't very good. They are more of a cold drink for a hot night rather than a nice drink for a fun night. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who has had a real daiquiri. Wet Willie! Oh man. I just roadtripped the entire US, back and forth, and this was my favorite stop. The gals working in here were knowledgeable of the drinks and they were polite and patient. I know it might be a crazy street to work on but they were calm and happy. I felt pretty awesome hanging out here. You can sit right by the window and enjoy the vibe of the street without being overtaken by the sound of it, so you have a little privacy. I loved the drinks. You can mix a few flavors and they have a ton of fun ones to choose from. They definitely got me feeling good! I hate when people sell weak drinks and this place had some great frozen cocktails with a good amount of liquor! When you walk in the flavors take up a whole wall and so you can walk up and down or look through a menu (the poor girl answered all my questions and i had no idea i could have just looked at a menu!) and pick what you want! We also had the waitress check on us which was nice if you just want to sit. The street itself is super fun. If you haven't been- definitely go. I was supposed to stop in New Orleans on my trip and I had to cut it so it was awesome to have a fun, outside drinking spot, it was like Tennessee's version of Bourbon Street. I had so much fun.
