And she and her friend asked three times over a period of two hours if her phone had been turned in and they said no everytime. They watched her empty and dig through trash, they watched her circle inside Charlotte Russe for an hour, they watched me, the mom show up and so the same search. When her dad came to help and used "find my phone" to locate it, which showed 100% accuracy that it was behind the counter - her father approached them for the 4th time. The Indian manager, with a smirk on his face handed it over. That wasted hours of our time and could have been avoided had they been honest. Great customer service! It was my first time trying wetzel's pretzel, came down to visit my sister. And I don't speak English very well, but the worker Diana was very helpful! She told me the options that they had and recommended me her favorite! The only complaint I would have is that it was hard for me to hear Diana due to the people in the back, they loud. Steps from the parking lot, this is a great place to grab a pricey snack before or after you shop. Never a long line or wait which makes it very convenient. Ordered a large lemonade and their bite sized pretzels with cheese. A whopping $13 later, I was left with greasy fingers and lots of ice. Service was prompt though. Walked by it when I was shopping at Carlsbad outlet. The smell slowly crept up to me and it was amazingly enticing! While reading further into the company I can not believe it was started by 2 dudes in 1994 who just randomly thought of the idea of selling pretzels would bring such profit. In fact, those 2 dudes were working in the marketing department and living the corporate life over at Nestle, Inc. I spent my day between La Mesa and El Cajon and road weary on my way home, I stopped by the Carslbad Outlet Mall for a snack. I thought 2 pretzels for $4 at Wetzel's Pretzels was a good deal, but when the total came to over $7 with the addition of a small lemonade, I winced. Something is wrong with their pretzel recipe. Got the cinnamon pretzel last weekend and was super disappointed. The pretzel is cold. I went to the location where they are making the pretzel. I love pretzel hot dogs so I was looking forward to getting some "dog bites" (mini pretzel dogs) here. There weren't any ready for sale and I was told it would take 20 minutes to make them. Since I was at the outlet, I went shopping while I waited. By the time I went back (about 30 minutes later) for the dog bites, they were sold out again. There were plenty of the pizza bites, but not the dog bites. You'd think they would have cooked more knowing that people were waiting for them. They offered to sell the full size pretzel dogs that were sitting there, but they looked burnt and like they had been sitting there a long time (they were there the first time I tried to order the pretzel dog bites). Also, though the food isn't very expensive, it is expensive for what you get. read more
