We ordered a half-and-half veggie pizza, artichokes on one side and mushrooms on the other. Unfortunately, both the service and the pizza were disappointing. It took about 30-40 minutes to come out, and while it was fresh, the flavor just didn't hit for me. It might be a decent spot to hang out with friends for drinks, but I'd probably skip the pizza next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The arcade games are a nice touch though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pints were $5.00 during game time! The small Caesar salad was enough for 3 since we were also having pizza. Salad was cold and crisp. Dressing was tangy. We shared half San Francisco and half Carlsbad pizza. Both had plenty of toppings and was perfectly cooked. They even have a pump where you can get as much ranch dressing as you want to dip your pizza in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was noisy so it would be hard to carry on a long conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!

Pizzas are very yummy, Extreme Meat one of my favorites. Marghetita omg so yummy. Service is pretty great you order, wait for your name to be called. Love the variety of beers . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is pretty pizza parlor style with a patio for outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Been coming to Pizza Port for over 20+ years love love love

[[HIGHLIGHT]]5 stars for the pizza & beer/wine & atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2 stars salad & wings [[HIGHLIGHT]]Been going to Pizza Port for decades every time we are in Carlsbad. Always busy & popular place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Indoor and outdoor seating, handicapped accessible plus they have extra seating upstairs and now an additional patio on the side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Picnic bench style tables, not great for older parents[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dogs allowed![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza, beer and wine is absolutely always fantastic! Love the Roma pizza! Tons of toppings!!! Salad is typically fine but this visit it was just meh. Very simple salad with just lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cucumbers, but the lettuce was just okay & majority of the cucumbers were old/disgusting - look like they had been frozen or gotten cold and then uncold and then recold. Definitely should not have put those on a salad and given to a customer. Need some quality control. My son got the wings and will usually devour them, but was done after one, I tried them and so did my husband.... Would not get again, tasted super fatty. We have gotten the mozzarella sticks before and those are decent. You placed your order at the counter and then they will call your name for pick up once your food is ready and appetizers typically come out first. Separate ordering at the bar for beer and wine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Trivia night on Wednesdays 6-8 p.m.. Always busy, sometimes hard to find a table but pretty quick to get in and get out[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Will for sure be back but only getting pizza and beverages.

Love the pizza here!! So many options, something for everyone. The vibe throughout the place makes for a great place to hang out, have a beer (even non alcoholic beer is on the menu) It's always somewhat loud inside so find your seat according to what you like. We tried the portzel this time. Wasn't my favorite, wish they had some dipping sauce besides ranch. Some beer cheese over all, any of their locations are a win!!

Pizza Port was a lot of fun to visit and the pizza exceeded expectations as well. This is an open seating concept where you order food and they call you when it is ready to bring back to your table. They are also known for their beer and had a wide variety of craft selections. The only issues with Pizza Port are the prices are somewhat high and the wait times can get long during peak periods. That being said, I do like the laid back concept and no rush approach to hanging out. I would go back again and likely try to avoid peak hours. They also do take-out if you are in the area or seating is hard to find.

Absolutely love pizza port!! Definitely a must when visiting Carlsbad. The pizza is fresh and tasty every time! There's a line to order food and another to order from their selection of beers. You can also grab some beers to-go. The line goes at a nice pace. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors with another bar outside too. Pet friendly as well! Overall it's a great place to hang with friends and family while enjoying some delicious pizza!

Caesar salad - it was ok. I probably would get a different kind next time.

This place was great! We stopped in on a Friday night and it took about 25 minutes to cook the pizza but that's to be expected with fresh made pizza. The service was prompt and they were helpful in our ordering the pizza. It's a busy place with picnic style seating and some video games for kids. It's loud with music and people, family friendly and social. When I first saw the prices I was a little nervous it would be costly but we got a medium pepperoni pizza, a Caesar salad, and one soda (they had free refills/ fountain drinks) and we only spent $32. This gave each of us two slices each and some salad. Everyone was happy in our family of 4.

Ordered the local special, Carlsbad. Very tasty pizza. It's always best when it comes straight out of the oven, it was tasty and the crust was crunchy and chewy. Definitely would dine again when I'm in town.

This place is totally my go to pizza joint in the area! They do get really crowded at times, but you can often order ahead and just show up before the kid is ready.. They have an excellent selection of beer and pizza that would appease pretty much anyone. Great indoor and dog friendly outdoor seating... good spot to watch a game too!

Ask the Community - Pizza Port

What is the parking situation? Street parking or parking garage?

Very small parking lot in back - maybe 10 spaces. But street parking south of Carlsbad Village is free. May have to walk a few blocks on a crowded day but you always find a spot

    Do they do delivery?

They do not deliver, but you could Door Dash or Uber Eats

Are they currently allowing in house dining?

Yes! There's an outside section & the upstairs patio!

Are leashed animals allowed in the outside area?

Yes, I've seen plenty of dogs outside leashed up in the seating area but not the patio area.

Do they have gluten free or dairy free options?

Sorry can't answer that question. We don't eat gluten free but the food and beer was good.

Do they still sell beer to go?

    Yes they do :)

When is happy hour and what are the deals if any?

They have a lunch special from 11-3 on pizza slices

Vegan friendly? It comes up on a vegan search.

Veggies & hummus, plus they'll do any pizza without cheese on vegan crust. I'm allergic to dairy and love to get the garlic veggie, no cheese :) No dairy substitutes though. Hope that helps!

Do you offer any pasta dishes?

No, mostly pizzas, salad and great beer!

Over all 3.5 stars but I don't feel right giving this place a 4 so I have to go with 3 And then we get the check and there is a 3% Green Fee (not on the menu but on the check) So that dropped the waitress tip from $30 to $15. But they earned that $5 Green Fee

There's plenty of options in the area but what caught our eye, Park101's decked out for the World Cup games. "Let's go!" Parking? No parking lot of its own. You'll look for street or if looping isnt your thing, parking is available in the plaza across the street. What's the 411? Park101 is an order and pay at counter first. You'll get a number, find a seat and they'll bring the food to you. They have a nice courtyard. Plenty of TV's. We got in just before 3pm on a Tuesday and we had pretty much any table to choose from. We grabbed a seat in the shade and after 4 rounds of drinks and a 96 minutes of World Cup soccer we were set! I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I've been to Philly, had some of the best by way of locals in Philly. Park101 is more of a Torta vibe. To call this a Philly sets certain expectations and this, although a good sandwich, is not a Philly. Overall, Park101 hits the spot. Great place to enjoy some food and libations, under the California skies. Catch a game and hang out.

The majority of the outdoor seating downstairs was in direct sun, compared to the upper deck that had a bunch of umbrellas. I assume this was because they didn't want to block the large TVs. They also have some indoor seating and a small bar downstairs. This appeared to be a very popular place for watching sporting events. You order food before you enter and drinks at the bar past the host stand. Food was decent. My husband got the fish and chips and it was a very generous portion of 5 large pieces of battered fish with fries. I got the tri tip arugula salad and made it into a wrap, which was ok. The tri tip was pretty subtle. We got our son the kids cheeseburger and while it looked really good, I was surprised that they would put pickles, mustard, and thousand island dressing on a kids burger. There were two cheeseburger patties on it, but just unfortunate with the toppings as a lot of kids are picky with sauces. The fries were seasoned well and crispy.
