I really love how well ran and organized this location is!!! I walked in today during a busy holiday rush and all the workers were working well and keeping plenty of options well prepared for us. I had the Manager's special with the Wetzel Dogs, Jalapeno Cheese and Pizza dip, and a Pepsi. My Host was very friendly and accommodating, and communicated to me clearly and courteously. This is a much better location than the one in the Montclair mall. They have a small store front location in The Shoppes at Chino Hills between Ra Sushi and Bath & Body Works. There's also a train for the kids that I believe is sponsored by Wetzle's Pretzels. Since this is a smaller location you may have to wait about 15 or 20 minutes for certain items, but that just means it's always fresh for you. There's no seating inside the Wetzle's itself, but there are tables and chairs or benches just outside and scattered throughout the outdoor shopping area. My favorites are the mini hotdogs wrapped in pretzel and the pepperoni pretzels. A buttery, soft pretzel with cheese and pepperoni, and your choice of cheese or marinara dip, who could ask for a better snack or lunch? They even have different flavors of slushies or sodas and tea. Yesterday was different, I ordered an original pretzel with the cheddar cheese sauce and when I received the pretzel I was so disappointed. It was thin, crispy, and tough.....not what a Wetzel's Pretzel should be. I feel like something must've gone wrong in the making of the pretzels. All of them looked the same. Even the sample of cinnamon bitz that an employee was giving out was tough and dry. Definitely not worth the $6 for a hard pretzel. All the other "fancier" versions usually taste old, super greasy or overdone so I don't indulge in any of those. I visited this Wetzel pretzels yesterday and noticed many things that are very pause worthy. I was able to go around 3pm which was nice due to the quiteness and being able to avoid the crowds. The store is very clean and seems to be kept up which is pleasant. The girl at the register was also very nice and helpful. I was able to try their pumpkin spice promotional pretzels, which pretty much are cinnamon pretzels with a pumpkin caramel sauce. If you're one who typically enjoyd pumpkin or pumpkin spice I would recommend trying this out. On the other hand, I personally am not a fan of a lot of pumpkin aside from pumpkin pie once a year, would suggest if you're not a big fan of pumpkin just to try one of the cinnamon pretzels by it self or with a different sauce or even another product of cinnamon doesn't float your boat either. read more

It's been a minute since I've been back to this Wetzel's Pretzels. I haven't been back for a couple of months but due to the encouragement from the new management, I decided to go and give Wetzel's another shot... and am I glad I did! Wetzels is under new management. It's very bright and welcoming when you walk in. I love the 3 TVs which give more of a more updated feature. Sara, the manager, has been so gracious and apologetic towards me/my previous experience that she wasn't even part of. Shows how professional and passionate she is. Alexandra was very helpful towards me and was even apologetic herself. I see the staff here making big strives to great customer service such as a smile and a friendly hello... even suggesting items to try out! So great to see that this Wetzel's isn't going to burn to the ground from all the previous experience.... Keep it up! :) The pretzels were delicious and soft too! Thank you Wetzel's! Most Wetzel's that I frequent no longer carry their Jalapeño pretzels hot and ready, stating that they do not have enough customer demand for them to keep them ready. It's no big deal, 50/50% they offer to make them for you when you walk in and ask for one.. this location, though, ALWAYS has a jalapeño pretzel!!! I know how stupid it sounds to be so happy about a jalapeño pretzel, but I'm high key obsessed with them and when I go get a pretzel, if they don't have jalapeño ones and don't offer to make one , I just walk away because I know in my mind there cannot be a pretzel better than the jalapeño!
