My son and I went here today around 11am and got some pretzel bites. They were fresh and yummy. We enjoy coming to this location.

This place needs to be shut down. Health violations, old food served. Our pretzel was hard as a rock. Service is horrible! Recommend never eating here! This place is bad! read more

When visiting the Victoria Gardens mall & I want to get a snack, my first thought is a Wetzel Pretzel with salt. I'm not crazy about bread but I do love a good pretzel!! They are always made just right and the smell is captivating. Their customer service is always great! I'm not a fan of their cheese as it is prepackaged. The frozen hot chocolate is a frozen chocolate frappe. It's pretty good if you love hot chocolate but you want to have it on a hot day, thus you freeze the hot chocolate and voila?! Lol we ordered it and it came out pretty much right away, they topped it off with some whip cream. You can leave out the whip cream if that's not your thing. There's no place to sit inside the establishment but there's a bench right outside. We took our drinks out to walk around. The staff here are very efficient and friendly. read more

I've been coming to this location in the gardens for a decade now. However, the quality has gone down hill and the prices have skyrocketed. The pretzels were not fresh. I asked for extra salt and butter on the bitz for my kids. What we got were the driest pretzels bitz we've ever had with barley any salt. Really disappointed with this location! the worst location ever! came here last night 6/9/2025 at 7:56PM, they told us they were closed, it was the female worker that had such a sour face when my baby walked in because we promised her we would get her pretzels, didn't get her name she rushed us out and told us "we're closed you need to get your baby out" wow we heard you the first time and oops that my baby just wanted some pesters and stood inside your store for 5 extra seconds than you "allowed" don't have to be nasty! whoever was working this shift the manager/owner needs to have a real chat with this female worker as she was extremely rude and looked like she did not want to be at her job. many people turning in applications, if you don't like your job, then get out! no one deserves to be treated nasty the way you are handling situations and timing at work! In October my boyfriend and I were craving wetzel pretzel we were at the mall earlier but decided to come and drive back just for some wetzel pretzel. We had came in around early 8 and the store says it didn't close until 9 on google maps that day. We walked in and tried to get something but the workers inside didn't even say they were closed but instead just made a hand gesture basically shooing us away. Wasn't really that upset about it and just took the L but after seeing the reviews it seems to be a common thing for the workers to close the store earlier than the posted time. I went to purchase an original pretzel on Saturday April 05 3034 around 3:30 pm only to be told they had none ready n to come back in 15 mins. I continued my shopping and returned 15 - 20 mins later stood in line again only to be told there would be another 15 minute wait cause I didn't put a pretzel on "hold".... I replied how would I know to put one on hold if I wasn't advised to by the cashier. After 3 rounds of the same info I politely left. I think not having the most brought item in demand on a busy weekend day is just a rouse to upsale the customer on the more pricey items! I stopped by a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service. I just ordered my usual pretzel and cheese and the cashier was incredibly polite and welcoming. Her kindness stood out to me because usually they do the bare minimum and just want you to get out of their hair (at other locations I've been to). My cashiers name was Lauren and I wouldn't be surprised if she also works at Chick-fil-a. I would go out of my way to go to this location in hopes that she was my cashier again. My son and I were looking through the window watching them make pretzels while my daughter and husband were purchasing a pretzel and Britney the employee gave us the dirtiest look. We are two families comprised of 10 people. We were celebrating birthdays, a 38 year old and a 16 year old. We were enjoying the cool weather and looking for a place for snacks/desserts. As we stood in front of both doors, four feet away from the doors as they were both open all the way,young man looks at us and says,"Sorry, we're closed," and pulled both doors together and locked them. There were still customers inside. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. We are a hispanic family,wondering if that was the reason of the young man's quick decision. You can't go to a mall and leave without eating Wetzel's Pretzels it's a must! I love that they hand out samples so we can try it out. As soon as I walk near hot topic I can smell Wetzel's Pretzels it smells so good. Today I ordered the pizza bitz and Hot Dog Bites I saw that the pizza bitz just came out and was fresh and I saw them making the hot dog bites so I had to wait 10 minutes but it was worth it I just went next door to hot topic and looked around for 10 minutes. It was worth the wait they were both hot and delicious. I had a great experience here at Wetzel's Pretzels and I'll be back again soon! read more

This store front is very small (for customers) you essentially find people outside waiting to order since the lobby is nearly outside. The staff is great, they're friendly and all working to push orders out, including prepping new dough for fresh pretzels (you can watch them from outside). Their freshly squeezed lemonade is a bit too sugary for my taste but the beauty of that is you can dilute it and share with your friends or significant other (obviously ask for a spare empty cup) I ordered the hot dog bites and was told there was a 2minute wait, good for me ;) fresh dog bites. I looove Wetzel's. However, I do not love this location's incredibly poor customer service. The young staff's priorities appear to be gossiping and entertaining themselves as opposed to properly running this business. On more than a few different occasions, not only did I experience serious unprofessionalism, snarky attitudes, dry and limited interaction, and the overall feeling that I was bothering them while spending (my) money in the establishment in which they are employed to work, but I have witnessed much of the same interactions with other customers as well. This is a major disappointment and a tarnish on the Wetzel's brand. As a business owner, I would be infuriated at staff for handling my business as such and running customers off--especially while most businesses are reeling back amidst Covid. Needless to say, I would prefer to drive out of my way to Ontario mills for pretzels. The extra mile isn't so bad when you know you'll receive a quality product with quality service. read more

I love Wetzel's ! I always have Wetzel's on my cheat day. This was my first time at this location. The pretzels were cool. But I was more concerned about the worker on register. She keeps rubbing her face/eyes, then touching money then grabbing the food not even putting gloves on to do grab the food. And really couldn't stop scrubbing her eyes. Due to COVID & sanitary purposes I would expect them to be a bit more strict here with that. Not to be cross contaminating. Also, she seemed like she didn't want to be there very serious barely said any words just "what do you want" & turns around & grabs my stuff bare handed after rubbing her face/eyes etc. then tells me my total & that was it. I understand we have bad days but she looked very upset & did not want to be there. If the service is better next time, and they don't cross contaminate & (actually put gloves on) I'm willing to give it 5 star. :) read more

I have always like this place, but today is the day that changed my mind. The people here are so extremely rude. My friend had grabbed a sample of some drink but I didn't. She said it was really good so we went back for it and was waiting in line to order. Then I saw one of the workers walk out with samples and I asked her if I could have one because I was trying to decide which one I wanted. She says "it's only one per customer" and I tell her I haven't gotten one. Then she says with so much attitude, "actually I saw you so..." and then she walks out. So then my friend and I leave and on the way out I make it clear I didn't get a sample and she says "you can take one then" with more attitude, but doesn't even say sorry at all or seem sorry that she was so rude to the customers. read more

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. My guilty pleasure is a nice, soft, buttery pretzel and these guys deliver each-and-every-time! Great customer service, fresh pretzels (plz do your self a favor and get the pepperoni pretzel w/ a dip) and ALWAYS a clean store. No complaints at all! read more
