Brought my daughters car in for diagnostics as it was running a little rough. Appeared to be a transmission issue as I took it to my local shop and I've came up with a couple of transmission error codes, which he didn't want to deal with, referred me to a transmission specialty shop, who then suggested I take it to the dealer who told me I needed a new transmission. Fortunately, I found WF Transmission after Arin and his crew went through the car they found a laundry list of issues but not a transmission issue. We bit the bullet had him take care of the major issues, and the car runs like new. Reasonable rates for all the work done. Definitely my go-to guy for any car repairs. So let me start by saying I have not yet repaired my transmission. So why am I leaving a review? Well, I spoke to 4 transmission shops and prices ranged from $3000-7500 for a rebuilt transmission. This shop was on the low end, and they spent almost 1/2 hour on the phone giving me information, different options, and suggestions. I was so thankful that someone actually seemed to care and treated me like a person and not just another sale. If we decide to fix the transmission, we definitely will come here. It pains me to lower my rating of this repair shop dramatically. New management has caused me to do something I usually loathe to do. Make a bad review. Recently, I dropped $830 in labor alone in getting work done. A couple of weeks later, I took my first highway drive and discovered the brakes violently shook at 60+ MPH. I highly recommend this shop. I do all my own routine maintenance but when it came time to rebuild my transmission, they quoted two separate prices: a minimum cost and maximum cost. The final cost came just in between the two and I couldn't be happier with the final result. Jonathan took the time to explain everything that needed to be done. Really kind and helpful, no pushy sales stuff. He also pointed out a couple issues that may needed to be fixed in the future which I already had an idea about but didn't try and push me on it like so many other shops would do. Just honest good people. My second visit was to get an alignment fixed. I didn't have the time to come here first (wish I would've waited) so I took it to a well known franchise tire shop to get the alignment done. Long story short, they messed up my alignment so bad and wouldn't budge on fixing it. So I finally got time to take it over to WF to get it looked at and once again Jonathan and Ravi (I think that's his name? Sorry if I messed it up) had me sit in the shop while they put it on the rack and brought my alignment back in to spec. They were shocked how bad the other guys threw my alignment out of spec lol. Again, they took the time to answer my questions and explain to me the before and after specs. I brought a used car here to get an pre-purchase inspection done. I checked on Yelp for a mechanic that was nearby, open on a weekend, and highly rated. Despite it being a weekend and already starting to get pretty busy, Arin was able to help me right away and took a lot of time to show me things and explain things to me. He talked me out of buying that car. Not only did he point out problems that it had, and potential issues it could have later, but he asked me questions about what my priorities were in a vehicle and why I was buying a car and what I was looking at and such. He talked to me about the kinds of cars to look for and avoid when shopping for a used car, the types of maintenance and repair issues I could have with different options. When I told them one of those cars he recommended was next on my list to check out, he asked to see my list and pointed out those he really recommended based on east of maintenance and the priority questions he asked me earlier. The inspection service was very well-priced. Even though he kept mirthfully saying things like "that's what you're paying me for", Arin was doing a lot more than a simple inspection service. He talked me out of making a mistake I might have really regretted and steered me toward the car I finally ended up purchasing. Despite doing quite a bit of internet research beforehand, I had a lot of misconceptions about cars (and especially about buying used cars) and Arin helped correct a lot of that. I came in here with the fear that my 2013 Ford Focus was going to need a new transmission. I can't remember the name of the young Hispanic man who helped me over the phone, then once again when I arrived to the shop. Instead of making up some false car issues, two gentlemen at the shop, drove my car, performed online research to determine if there known issues with my models, looked for resolutions pertaining to the reported issues. After all that, one of the gentlemen, adjusted a battery cable and I was back on the road. The problem message was car was generating was due to a loose battery cable(or something like that) and, wouldn't you know, I drove home that night with me car, without any new parts, labor, the gentlemen were nice enough to fix that cable without charging me a dime. The only way I can repay their kindness is by taking my car there for oil changes. It's this kind of human service that makes companies stand the test of time. The whole team was very accommodating to my needs, and the kindest mech shop I've ever been too. I came in not knowing why my car was making strange sounds. They went out of their way to diagnose the problem. During this process, Jonathan would educate me/provide me detailed info about why my brakes and rotors were making a grinding sound. Along with exact reasons why they needed to be replaced. This reassured me that I was receiving a good deal. He would give me updates about where they were in the process. Would schedule me for next day/morning appointments. He even stayed after hours when my bus was late coming back to the shop, so I could pick up my car and finish my transaction. Brought in my car a second day because the new brakes were still making a strange grinding sound. They put on ones that were found to be more compatible with the car, with no extra charge to me, since it was from the same manufacturer. Still the strange sound occurred, they got second opinions about what the problem could be from the other mechanics. So funny, that whole mech shop area where they're located is like a family of friends. When the owner, William, said they needed to look at the car for longer, he gave me a ride home since I didn't live far. And picked me up in my vehicle when the work was done and showed me the brakes no longer made the sound. They also put my battery in no charge They genuinely care for people and cars. I brought the car in for an alignment, and before starting the job, they both gave the car a brief overlook on tires and anything steering/suspension related. They brought various things to my attention, including some odd tire wear and some play in my steering column swivel joint. The alignment took a small amount of time, and it came out really well. You're provided a spec sheet on what was done as well. Jonathan exhibited great customer service, while Rabi did a great job on the car. Both of these guys are very friendly. I am a little late in posting this review but better late than never. After the dealer wanted to charge me $1800 to fix an engine issue I took my mini to WF Auto and they fixed it for the cost of about half of the dealer quote. They also advised me that I have a few items that were still under warranty that mini dealer should fix without charging me and they were right. This was about a year ago and I've been taking my car to WF Auto ever since for all my car needs, oil change, breaks, even nails in my tires. I have a 3 hours daily la commute, my baby runs into a lot of issues. The WF guys are always nice and helpful, the shop is also clean and spacious. I love that they're honest about what your car needs and won't find bs things to fix so they could charge you more. Which auto shop would tell you to bring your car to the dealer because some things are still under dealer warranty?!? I recently had my Mom bring her car to WF for a transmission service as well as an AC issue. Ravi was really nice in explaining what needs to be done. They had to order a specialty part and got her car done within a week. Also, they were nice enough to send pictures so I could show my mom the work required and progress.
