Mr Kim worked on our car and he did a wonderful job overall. He is honest and does not suggest other unnecessary work but instead he does check above and beyond the scope of what you came in for. I already knew that my old 4Runner is overdue for some TLC and he found the work I know it needed. He fixed extra things he noticed that was not working and didn't charge me extra for them. He proactively looks for alternatives to help his clients out instead of up charging for unnecessary replacements. Kind, honest, great-price, and transparent. I called ahead to see if I could get an oil change and he replied honestly that he was busy and may not have time for it asap but he would get around to it by the end of the day. I appreciated his honesty because I went expecting to wait and I packed my laptop to finish up work while I waited. When I arrived he informed me it would take a few hrs and he would be done by 3. It was finished around that time. The price for a full synthetic oil change was significantly cheaper than other areas I called in LA and in the OC. He informed me the type of oil my car needed and it's price with the breakdown of his labor cost. My total was around $65. So, this is my go to spot for my car!!! Oil changes and any mechanical or electrical servicing on my car are what I have done here. This place does not do body work on the car, keep this in mind, guys. It is for the functioning of your car and for the internal upkeep. No cosmetic work done here. James is a really honest auto shop owner who keeps it real with what you need done and is incredibly affordable for whatever service you need. I really appreciate how nice and relaxed he is, as well. When it comes to maintaining your car, being able to rely on someone who is honest and not trying to swindle you is so important to me. It is time to let the secret out of the bag as I personally think this is one of the best if not the best mechanic in the San Fernando Valley. As I mentioned in my other review, I only go to two places to get my car looked at and this is the other place. James is a honest and hard working mechanic as he truly takes pride in his work. When I take my car in for any issues, if there is a major problem, I will get a call from him, explaining what the issue is, what he recommends, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. I appreciate this because I like to know ahead of time what is going to happen, instead of someone just doing something to my car and saying, "Well we did this, give us $400 please." But what really made me realize the true extent of his customer service was when I had to get my head lights replaced. The bulb was flickering and I took it in for a routine oil change and asked about the bulb. He said he can exchange it for the standard one, but he had mentioned he can get some dope high end Japanese bulbs for a bit higher price. I thought the quality would be worth it, and decided to go with the high end Japanese one. I knew I made the right decision when a couple of months later, I was following my wife as we had to take two cars to get to a destination, and once we got there, she got out of her car and asked, "Why the EFF are your headlights so bright." James, you are seriously the man. I tell anyone in the Valley who has car issues to come here because I feel taken care of. 6/5 if it was possible on Yelp. read more

$25 for an oil change. thats $5 more than I usually pay, but for the customer service and politeness that I usually don't receive when getting my oil change, I didn't mind. I came here because its very close to my work and I guess the owner noticed my work badge and said that I was more than welcome to drop off my car and they would give me a ride to my work and then pick me up when my car was ready. now thats customer service!! not only do they change your oil, but they check your tire pressure and really inspect everything about the car. love it. read more

On a whim, because it was so close to the place I was working out of for the week and my it was shaking every time I braked, I took my vehicle to get my rotors machined here. But it was wasn't safe to do that so they had to replace the rotors and the break pads. James charged a fair price. They fixed my vehicle quickly and then they even fixed and patched a nail they found on my tire and rotated my tires for free.
