When our water heater burst in the middle of the night, our warranty company referred us to Advanced Home Services who worked in conjunction with Emergency Restoration Services. The water heater replacement was done by Advanced because that unit was under warranty. The rest of the work --- remediation for water damage was done by Emergency Restoration. The cooperation between the two was admirable because of the timing issue to ensure that we weren't without hot water for too long. We're very pleased with how responsive they were. They came promptly when they said they would. Everyone was polite and courteous. They did everything they told us they would do and even cleaned up after themselves. They removed the damaged panels, and put multiple and powerful fans to dry out the walls. When that was done, they installed new panels and moldings, and painted them so that the color blended so well with what was already there. One can't even tell that there was ever any damage. The communications with the office was topnotch, and their follow-up was excellent. Dealing with the people onsite was just as good. Very happy with the company and quite glad to give them the 5 stars they deserve. read more

Had a terrible experience from top to bottom. Reps kept penny pinching my insurance which took the job from August to April to complete, it was a simple water leak. They contract other companies to do their jobs and as a result, if one of them break something, they will not take accountability. They tried to cheat me out of $750!!! I was promised a discount of $500 plus if I give a good review (I guess this is the only way they can get a good review), they will give me an extra $250 off. I left a good review immediately and a month later they tried to charge me full price. I went over the bill with their adjusters and they told me everything was correct. After a LONG DEBATE, (I assume) they finally realized the error and agreed to the discount. They won't admit blame that it was the (lack of) accounting made a mistake. This company is incredibly dishonest, overpriced, and incompetent. If you're thinking about calling them OR if your plumber recommended them-- STOP, don't sign anything, and don't let them into your home. My parents had a leak in their condo's bathroom and our home warranty plumber recommended ERX so they came out to do an estimate. ERX assessed tons of problems and recommended ripping out cabinets, walls, floors, etc. that would cost us tens of thousands of dollars. They also told us this wouldn't be covered by our home insurance and that we'd likely need to pay out of pocket. This smelled fishy to me, my wife, and my brother so we called a new company to do an assessment. This new company told us that EVERYTHING would be covered under our insurance with no out of pocket costs to us. We immediately fired ERX, they picked up their tools the next day, and left. We were charged for the fans they left in our place even though the new company told us that those should've been free. They charged us $852 for 1 day of fans to dry the floor. You read that correctly. $852. I can't imagine the money we'd be out of from any further work if just the fans were $800. I wish I read these reviews and did my research before the plumber called them. These are the biggest frauds I've ever met in the business. They demand super high payments (wanted nearly $4000 for a $500 job) and never even finished the work. Not only did they not finish the work, they caused FURTHER damage to my house which at first they promised to fix, then they put a lien on my house without ever fixing it! I have emails of them at first claiming they have no one to fix the damage, and then claiming on text message that were they were coming to fix it but no one ever showed up! Very very unprofessional to leave someone waiting for an appointment and they were a no call no show. Next thing you know I got an email that they want to put a lien on my house for the work that they did not finish, and they are refusing to pay the damage that they caused in my house. I smell a lawsuit!! Thank goodness I kept Email and text message for proof and now I have to file a complaint with the Nevada state contractors board. I emailed and texted several times asking for their insurance information to file a claim with their insurance for the damage that the tech caused in my house but no answer! DO not use this company!!!! I've had several problems with this company. The mitigation department broke my bathroom mirror but refuse to replace it, they also put small holes and damaged the paint to my walls and ceiling but refuse to fix that as well. They closed my file in the middle of my restoration and refuse to tell me the reasoning. Jennifer in the restoration department doesn't care about the people they're supposed to help. She hung up the phone in my face unprovoked, continued to cut me off and won't allow me to finish a sentence, she's been very rude in her demeanor and tone of voice and shouldn't be working with people at all. Liberty mutual, my HOI ended up doing an investigation and revealed to me several things. Erx was charging me for things that didn't even make sense. One of the charges was for a carpet removal or drying. We don't even have carpet in the downstairs floor. It's tile. Waterproof tile. They also charged us for several boxes of gloves. They didn't use gloves when they came in. At any point. They charged us for biological tests and categorized our water to be what it wasn't. They claimed that the water coming from the sink was black, which prompted such tests. It definitely wasn't. I was washing the dishes in the clear water when I found the leak. They charged for after hours visits, since we called on the weekend. Why would you answer your phone and not tell us it would be more expensive on the weekend? To scam the insurance company. They charged for the fans they put up and didn't remove for several days and charged for checking on them daily. They never once came to check on the fans after placing them. It turns out the insurance company has been getting inflated invoices from this company for some time and they're finally at a point where they're fighting back on these charges. Unfortunately they decided to fight back on a case that involved a one year old and a pregnant lady. Oh did I mention that they put a lien on my dads house? Because they did. Little did they know that the house was in the process of a sale and it sold before the lien was official. That means that paying them wasn't my or my dads problem anymore. And I knew that. And they knew that. Once it came time to making the final payment since the insurance refused to pay any of the inflated costs, they all suddenly became really polite and apologetic. Veronica, the payment girl I assume, went from being matter of fact to sympathetic. My mom died in 2019 so her name was still on my dads house (it was their house) and liberty mutual sent their portion of the payment via a check that would need to be endorsed by both my mom and dad. Veronica called me and let me know that my dad refused to speak with them and he also told them to never ask him for anything ever again. This was after I repeatedly told them not to contact him and to only use me as a point of contact. They didn't listen. They tried to intercept us in our home but little did they know, we actually moved. With a lien on the sold house. The new owner told them that my dad no longer lived there and I'm sure it was at this point Veronica called me. She called me to not only let me know what my dad said (which I already knew because he told me) but to ask me to forge my moms signature to endorse the check since she couldn't because she's dead. They actually wanted me to commit a crime and forge a dead persons signature. I emailed her back and told her I didn't feel comfortable engaging in an illegal practice and had liberty mutual send out another check without my moms name on it. They ended up sending another one that my dad needed to endorse and they called me again to ask if we can go to their office to endorse to which I responded absolutely not. So they mailed the check to my new residence that my dad has no legal tie to and I sent it back. But that wasn't before they called and emailed several times about it. I chose to ignore them like they ignored me over the past several months and sent it back when it was convenient for me. Finally in May of 2022, they took the lien off of the house my dad didn't own anymore and this claim was finally resolved. We just bought a house and a simple bathtub leak in the master restroom turned into a flood in our kitchen and had to be repaired. AHS Sent a plumber to my home for a Toilet valve leak. The plumber from ADVANCED HOME SERVICES LLC instantly called ERX, to come to my home. ERX then convinced my mother and I into believing we have horrible water damage. The area was wet due to the valve leak the night before, and that a towel was left on the floor. The only water damage was to a single plane of sheet rock or drywall that can be easily replaced. ERX wanted to tear out my floors, walls, including walls downstairs that had no damage. The next day I call Goettl, they had a great guy come up, we actually worked together to find the source of the leak, fixed the valve and the leak which was from the caulking near the floor of the tub. Which I fixed myself later one that day. The Tech and myself from Goettl cut a larger opening in the wall and confirmed there is no serious water damage or leaking pipes. After I fix my issues, I receive a email saying I would be responsible for a 900$ bill for "Demo and Remediation" The tech from ERX specifically told me the dehumidifiers just had to be on site not turned on "To prove to the insurance company work was being started". There wasn't anything in my home to dry out, they were not left running by the technicians, they just brought in and placed in my home. One wasn't even near the leak or the bathroom and was downstairs. After finally getting ERX to take the equipment, I deal with them over the phone. They claimed if we denied our insurance claim, for the 900$ bill for these fans that were left idle in my home. That I would be responsible for it. I let them know I wouldn't be paying to store your machines. I work with energy daily, and can prove based off home usage that these machines were not running if I had to go that far. After arguing with them, they left me with a 200$ Service call out fee (After hours?) even though it was a Saturday morning. Company is a scam, avoid at all costs. read more

ERX has been an absolute nightmare. Manager or whomever named Bobby has been very rude to myself and my family. If you are experiencing a stressful situation and need your home repaired after an emergency, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I've waited three months for a new floor after water damage, and really wish I called someone else. From lying to get our business, to cutting corners, they do it all. Like many reviews here I will say DO NOT USE THEM. we were refer by a Plummer (rob) who we found through our home warranty company. Rob found the leak and fixed evyething (so we thought) erx came out and cut open our ceiling and walls took our flooring and base boards out (which was not necessary) They moved slow. Our insurance ended up paying us I believe 8k. erx charged us 6 or 7 thousand. to destroy our home and put up some fans that we can get from Home Depot. Really? could do that our selves for free. The office staff is very unprofessional as well. No one knows what's going on or is just playing dumb because everyone knows what's really going on. They did not remodel anything. We had to use the pennies left to try to find someone to do our bathroom and ceiling cheap. And guess what? they did a really bad job. So this company really screwed us, and hella overcharged and takes advantage of people that are in need of services to fix things. Not make things worse, I hope they get sued and do not last. The pluming company that refers them should be ashamed to be affiliated with this company. A year and some change later the bathroom is leaking again and went through our ceiling again. Hired this Company for a water leak in the garage, they did a great job, however, before they completed the work there was another leak in my guest bathroom, I hired them for that job also, Everyone I encountered from Emergency Restoration was most helpful and considerate and a pleasure to work with. There were several snags that made progress slow which I had to deal with as it was a fault with the condo. As I stated before, everyone was very respectful and pleasant, the man that scheduled the workers was, Guillermo Flores , a most caring person, his attitude was always to please the homeowner, never did he get upset or an attitude when there was a glitch in the process. Guillermo was right there ready to answer any question or issue I had, Guillermo Flores is an asset to this company as are many more workers. My Warranty plumber, First Plumbing, came out to look at my leaking water heater. He says he saw mold and left. Ten minutes later Hugo from ERX showed up at my house having been sent by the plumber. Hugo was all gloom and doom and said it would cost me $4500-$6500 for the job. He gave me an estimate of $3,575 to remediate the "mold" and said if I hired them to restore the area he would (wink, wink) give me back $1000 from my insurance money. Couldn't get this guy out of my house fast enough. Called Servpro and paid $559 for the job. Hired my own plumber, Silver State, which didn't try to screw me. The guy who took care of our job took out our tub and destroyed it and it didn't need it. They also gutted our shower tile which wasn't necessary. We had to buy a new tub that the insurance didn't cover. They also were quick to destroy and then finished the job after 4 months. My cat got stuck in our ceiling twice even after covering the hole where the tub was and that was a pain in the ass. The contractor guy was really nice and helpful though. read more

Easy restoration experts was recommended to me by the plumber who camec to look at my water heater that had broke. He gave us their card and someone named Chris came out called and then came out the same day. He walked around assessing the damage to the closets and the water heater space in the garage. He helped me make the insurance claim and then told us about how much it would cost and what would be done he sent people to tear out the damaged wall to help us pack up the stuff and they brought these huge machines to supposedly dry out the walls. My insurance covered the entire tear out. And since they only covered part of the restoration we decided to not use their sister company dolphin properties because there's cheaper companies out there. I feel as long as you have good insurance go with this company but they are not cheap if you don't. read more

Good work that was completed. Just had a sink that failed that damanged my downstairs bathroom and surrounding drywall. The process took two months and all that was left to do was install the faucet, piping underneath the sink and rehanging the mirror. I was told a couple of times someone will call me to come out and finish. Weeks went by and I was tired of not having a bathroom, so I just did it myself. Another week after that the company called to schedule a final walk-through and it was then they knew no one had ever come out. So they canceled a discount they had given me up front because they said I performed their work and they were still in the process of completing it. How in the world are you calling me to finalize something you are in the middle of completing and then saying what I did was worth $992. Seriously, a few hundred at most. Then I still need to pay the remaining $500 for any incidentals and final inspection. Had they had someone come out and I wasn't waiting for weeks with repeated "they will be calling", I never would have completed anything. Those that performed the work were great people. Sorry for this long review, but this company must be stopped from their dishonest and fraudulent practices. There are two companies acting as one. Dolphin Properties Inc DBA Emergency Restoration - License #0040236. Principal - Christopher Lee Anderson - President. On Saturday night, 10/22/22, my wife noticed that we had no hot water. I went out to the garage and found the water heater was leaking. I shut off the feed valve and dried up the water that was sitting on top of the water heater platform. Once I dried up all the water, with the water pressure off, the water heater stopped leaking. I have a home warranty, so I contacted them on Sunday 10/23/22 and filed a claim. They set up an appointment with a company called Advanced Home Services, LLC. A technician named Dustin arrived at 1-PM on Monday 10/24/22, and said that he would set everything up. A short time later (on the same day), Jorge Villa from Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) arrived at our house, and explained everything. I asked him why we needed restoration, repairs, etc., because there was no damage to anything except the drywall top of the water heater platform. He said they could not guarantee a final approval from the inspector, without the restoration services (that should have been the first red flag). So, we signed an agreement to proceed. I offered Jorge the contact information for our insurance agent in Las Vegas. He said that he did not need it because he knew who to contact... almost like he had done this many times before (that should have been the second red flag). I think it is very peculiar that he used an insurance adjuster who was in Florida, which we did not know at the time. Every member of the team, starting with Jorge Villa, railroaded us through the entire process without giving us time to think. Jorge offered a $1,000 discount to assist with our insurance deductible (that should have been the third red flag). Again, no time to think... "just sign here". Emergency Restoration Experts - We received a "Mitigation" invoice prepared by Project Manager Greg Anderson for $3,466.06. That was for "emergency" mitigation and containment in the garage and in an adjoining bedroom in the house. As I said above, the only place that was wet was the top on the water heater platform. The garage floor was dry, the adjacent walls were dry, and the adjoining bedroom walls and floor were dry. In fact, the concrete slab floor of the bedroom and the rest of the house is about 3-4 inches higher than the concrete garage floor where the water heater platform sat, so any water that could have hit the garage floor, could not possibly seep into the bedroom floor. Dolphin Properties - The "Repairs" invoice from Estimator Dylan Anderson was $5,149.74. Once again, none of these repairs were necessary because everything was dry. Also, there were several very large line item expenses for work that was never done. The Fraud - The $5,149.74 invoice for repairs was sent to our insurance company. However, the total invoicing to us was for $4,149.74. The $1,000 difference was supposed to be to help us with our insurance deductible. However, our insurance company never saw the $4,194.74 invoice. They only received the higher invoice. I don't think that's legal and my lawyer and the insurance adjuster both agree. In fact, in an email exchange with Project Manager Greg Anderson, he said, "...we would never charge your insurance company for something and refund you for it. That is considered insurance fraud..." But, that's exactly what they did. If we had known at the time that the $1,000 discount was to be provided by the insurance company without their knowledge, we never would have agreed to that. The Topper - Before the mitigation team left, they hooked up the new water heater so we would have hot water until the Repair team came. When the Repair team came to do the repairs, they removed the newly installed water heater, and then stopped working. We were then called into the garage and told by the supervisor, that they would not continue working until we gave them a check for $3,649.74. Four men actually left the garage and went out and stood by the curb until we handed over the check. After the work was done, the project manager realized that so much of the work was never done, and reimbursed us ~ $1,300. By the way, our home warranty completely paid for the cost of replacing the water heater, so technically, this should not have cost us or our insurance company anything. I filed a complaint with the Nevada State Contractors Board. A few months later, I received a call from Jennifer Waggoner, requesting that we settle this dispute before the Contractors Board hearing. After some email exchanges, we received an offer of $1,000 from Erica Anderson in return for us withdrawing our complaint. After some more email exchanges, we could not come to an agreement. We are now waiting for the Contractors Board hearing. read more

My problems with this company are very similar to the problems others have had: constantly telling me that they are waiting on insurance, not getting jobs done in a timely matter, and being unprofessional over all. Choose a different restoration company if possible. Details of my issues are below. There was a leak from an unknown source. Restoration came out to take out walls and a vanity. They put fans and dehumidifiers everywhere, and came back four days later to pick them up. At that time, I was told that tiles had to come up because it was still wet underneath them. That was on Thursday. Now it is Tuesday. They came back out to "re-assess" the situation. The guy came out, late and without a phone call, to spend about 1 minute in my home and told me the same thing I knew from Thursday. He is now telling me that they are waiting on insurance. I don't believe them, however, because I was already told that the insurance company sent them a check to do the work. Now I am sitting here, waiting, for the work to get done. I worked closely with Kevin to negotiate with my insurance company and begin the repairs. He communicated every step of the way and the project was finished with an excellent product. The crews that worked on my home were efficient and easy to work with. They left my home better than they found it. I have had 2 large water damage events happen in 2020, my first restoration company was terrible so when my water heater blew and damaged both my garage and office ( the room behind the water heater) I figured I'd try a different company. I'm so glad I did. They walked me though all the steps, they even helped me call my insurance company to file the claim. They showed up on time, did the job fast by bringing in the teams necessary to complete the job. (Painters, plumbers and carpet guys). Like many others, we were referred to ERX after our upstairs bathroom began leaking into our family room downstairs. They were quick to respond and contacted our insurance company and started the mitigation right away. I was very satisfied Hugo and this portion of the project. When it came time to prepare an estimate for the damage, there were so many things included that didn't need repair, and the price for the things that actually did need repair were out of this world. (Ex. Replacing entire flooring and baseboards throughout bathroom and bedroom) Our insurance agent was very generous and tried to negotiate with them but they only responded when I prompted them to. Eventually, they decided not to pursue the project and we were left without a working bathroom and no ceiling in my family room. We ended up hiring another company to fix the damages for a fraction of the cost and I am thankful for that because now I have a good contractor that I can trust. I do not recommend dealing with this company for any damage repair, and due to the unsatisfactory experience, I would recommend a different mitigation company as well. read more

The entire team at ERX were amazing! Professional, courteous, timely. One leaking water heater did so much damage and now everything looks new! It took a few days to dry out the wood framing between the garage and pantry. The drywall was replaced and everything painted and the platform for the water tank was rebuilt. This company wouldn't provide our mortgage company with the W9 that they required in order to receive payment. They continued to give us the runaround and then had the nerve to file a lien and then threaten to file a mechanics lien. They also loosened a valve behind the toilet that caused an additional leak that was found by our inspector. I would not recommend this company at all not to mention they are WAY OVERPRICED! read more

The whole team did a great job, from the crew who did the damage removal to the dry wallers, the painters, tile guy as well as the team who did the final touch ups.
