Award Winner of McAlester's BEST BREAKFAST! It is good and you can have breakfast all day! Two sunny side, bacon, hashbrowns, one biscuit with gravy. Their menu covers burgers, wraps, salads and sandwiches in addition to the big breakfast selection. The atmosphere and décor are that of a genuine small town Oklahoma diner. Good coffee, fast friendly service.

This place makes you reminisce and step back in time to old school diners. very casual, friendly staff, still has the glass room that was used in the 90's for smokers lol of corse mow clean and just a nostalgic look. Appeared to be a local's place however we felt welcome.. full menu and they will change anything to make the plate just how you want it. We had chicken fried chicken and ordered a side of sausage gravy just because I wanted to taste it also and it was yummy. Coffee was good diner coffee. Price was reasonable. I guess the only reason I didn't give it a five star is because some of the things they use are instant or out of a box but it appeared that most were homemade. I definitely would come back!

AMAZINGGGG breakfast!! The best ever actually! The service is phenomenal, everyone is super welcoming and kind. The breakfast was amazing and my boyfriend and I agree these are the BEST pancakes we've ever had. Our server was Neeley, an absolute sweetheart and gem of a person. It's a perfect home town feel meal that you'd never expect. 10/10 I cannot recommend this place enough!

This breakfast burger might just change your life, or at least your day... (extra well done hashbrowns too!)

Breakfast burger and well done hashbrowns (I asked for well dome and they delivered!). The burger was awesome - juicy, well-seasoned, and nicely cooked. With egg and cheese melted on top and crispy bacon to make it perfection. I wish I was eating it right now!

I don't know why Bobs had a 5 star rating. Biscuits were very average. Omelette was greasy. Salad was white iceberg lettuce.

Simply the best breakfast spot in town. I don't know where they get their sausage, but it's the best I've ever had.

I am so happy that I found the Magnolia Cafe in Durant, Oklahoma! This is the best run cafe I have…read morebeen to in a long time! The manager, Chris stays right up front and is a real hands on style manager. He makes sure that the customers are well taken care of by the wait staff( who are all friendly and knowledgeable as well as hard working). The decor is attractive and spotlessly maintained. The kitchen staff gets the food out very promptly and the bacon, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy were all cooked and seasoned to perfection! Everything was so good that I drove through a flooding deluge of rain and lightning to eat there the next morning! Chris remembered me(after only one visit) and greeted me by name! I will definitely be eating here on every trip I make to Durant!

She seems like the type of person that smiles and laughs easy. I really enjoyed her as a server. Next up, coffee. I drink mine black so it has to be good. It was! It tasted like they brewed it fresh just for me in that moment. I suspect they are cleaning their pots regularly so the burnt taste doesn't carry over like in some of the large chain breakfast restaraunts. Breakfast was good, I had the Mexican omelette and the salsa was really good! I forgot to take a picture before I cut it all up, but it was a good size and I got full before I could make it to my hashbrowns and pancake

We ate here today but will not return. I ordered their Indian taco and dessert special. The…read morehamburger for the taco was burned and the small piece of yellow cake with brown and pink frosting was a joke. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries also were overcooked and most were left in the basket. The server did her best to be pleasant. The booth seats were "repaired" with orange duct tape on them. I can appreciate a tasteful amount of uplifting quotes and religious passages in a place of business, but the owners took it to an extreme. Virtually on every wall--even in the bathroom--was another scripture or some religious advice. Too much is just too much.

Small town, friendly service, comfort food diner. Recognized for having the "Best Hamburger in…read moreHenryetta." I can't comment on the hamburger other than the ones I saw on another diner's table. They looked old school fantastic. We had the catfish basket and the Mona's Chicken basket. There were generous portions in each meal and unquestionably freshly made. The baskets come with one side option. Mona's has a lot to choose from. My wife had the okra and an extra side of Mac and Cheese with her basket. I had the house made onion rings. I didn't care for the Mona's Chicken. Instead of strips of chicken breast, it was small bite sized chunks. It was just too much breading. After a few bites I ordered a side of cream gravy for dipping. That improved the meal. The catfish had a nice crust, moist inside, but the flavor was a little off. Okra, mac and cheese, average. Hushpuppies excellent. And then there were the Onion Rings. These were excellent. Large fresh, wide rings of sweet onion lightly battered, then fried to perfection. Crispy crunchy on the outside and crisp fresh onion on the inside. Onion rings are mandatory with any meal here. Probably the perfect meal here is the Burger and the Rings. But there's more. Fried pies filled with fruits that represent most of the colors in a rainbow. I couldn't pass them up for tomorrow's breakfast. Peach, Apple, Cherry and Apricot all went home with us. Great with this morning's cup of coffee. I bet they are even better when served hot and fresh in the diner.
