Their Detroit-style pizza is the crunchiest pizza I've ever had with perfectly crusted edges, crunchy pepperoni, and fresh ingredients. Friendly team putting out incredible pizza!! They even have amazing chicken wings here. I will for sure be back.

The pizza was really good I personally love the thinner dough and the amount of sauce they use. The garlic knots I will say are strong! Just be aware if you are not a full garlic fan. The sitting area was nice and clean also it was so cool inside which was amazing because it was hot out side. The service was great to friendly and fast working.

This place was dope, first time visiting and it won't be my last. Customer service was on point and the prices were great as well. Got the lunch special which comes with two slices of pizza with a drink, you can't beat that plus the pizza was so good, not crumbs was left straight smashed both of the pizza. Don't hesitate coming here, the pizza is a must try

What pushed me to rate What Up Dough 5 stars, instead of 4 is their Roman style pizza. It was even thicker than a Detroit or Sicilian style square, but much airier and it didn't tear up the roof of my mouth. If you've spend just a bit of time in the SoCal pizza scene, you start to see the same toppings and styles so, I can't stress enough how impressive it is to find something new. Strictly in terms of flavor, both The Hot Boy Roman square and CheeseMatic NY slice were great, but not life changing. I would say they're on par with similar pizza spots like Prince St., Prime, and Slice House. Something that did stand out to me on my first visit was the lack of options. Normally, this would be a negative, but it was a workday and I came in a little before 4pm. I saw this as a positive sign that they're keeping their pizzas fresh by only making enough for their lunch and dinner rushes. That being said, I am disappointed by the fact that you have to order a whole pizza if you want to try their Detroit style square. In addition, they seem to be on the pricier side, but I think the flavor and overall experience make What Up Dough a reliable pizza spot I would recommend to others.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and we finally found ourselves in the area and hungry for pizza. My husband and I ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots. The knots were great. The dough was fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. Freshly baked and delicious. Shredded Parm on top and a red dipping sauce. Definitely needed more garlic flavor but still very good. Wish the sauce was at least room temp and not fridge cold, though. Our pizza was just okay, sadly. The dough was perfect. It was thin and crisp but floppy. 10/10. But the sauce to cheese ratio was iffy at best. I love a saucey pizza but this pizza could have benefited from more cheese. But even so, I think I just didn't really care for the sauce. I didn't love it as a dip for my garlic knots but was hopeful that it was just because it was served cold. But alas. Their sauce leans to more of a fresh tomato taste and not enough to a cooked sauce taste for me. My husband also said he got a chunk of raw garlic in one bite so that kind of proved my point on the undercooked sauce aspect. I can see how some people may like this type of sauce but it wasn't for me personally. A shame, because that dough is perfect. Alas. While I wouldn't come here again on my own, if someone wanted to go or brought it to a potluck, I'd eat it.

The pizza here is delicious! Ordering for pick up was a breeze, our food was ready on time and made correctly. I love that they have different styles of pizza, we happen to come on a Tuesday and order their specialty of the day, which is only available on Tuesdays. It turned out to be my favorite pizza, the other ones were tasty though too. We have tried a variety of different ones and enjoyed all of them. Good quality ingredients, perfectly baked. Price is portions are fair, especially considering how filling it is you can easily feed 3 to 4 people on one pizza. Great option in the area if you are looking for delicious pizza!

They were closing in about 45 minutes so they were not making any more slices of pizza. They were limited options and they don't make any personal pizza either. They only make huge extra-large ones. So I could not order anything. The service was good and the environment was alright. Parking is located on the street or parking lot

I had the BBQ Chicken NY & Walter White pizzas. The pizzas were good and fulfilled my pizza craving. They have NY, Roman and Detroit style pizzas. I like that they have slices available if you want to try their different toppings. There is indoor seating. They have everyday lunch special from 11a-3p

We are in town visiting and stumbled on this place. I'm so glad we gave it a try! I have to say some of the best pizza I've ever had honestly. This is one of those few places where the service is just as great as the food. Felipe helped us out today and was such a great guy and even told us a little bit of history about the business. When you have someone like him running the place, it is in good hands. Prices are very fair considering the size of the pizza. We went home happy and full! Highly recommend this place!

Decent slice of pizza to get quick and fun flavors, but nothing special. Happy to go back though!

This pizza was honestly awful! dry, barely warm, and 20 minutes late on top of that. No real sauce, weirdly chewy, and the "garlic knots" had zero garlic and were just as dry. Even the dipping sauce tasted more like salsa than marinara. Big disappointment, couldn't even keep eating it. Want my money back honestly

Excellent! We wanted deep dish pizza after biking our first half century. We found this place on Yelp and ordered a deep dish and wings. The deep dish was incredible! Love how doughy it was omg. I wish it did have more sauce or gave red sauce as a side but it's okay, it still hit the spot. I think this was more Detroit style deep dish. Their ranch side was super good too. I didn't try the wings but they said they were also good.

Good pizza by the slice. I had the Hawaiian with jalapeños but I don't care for jalapeños so I picked them off and enjoyed the pizza just fine. It is thin, and they heat it up before serving it to you. Next time I want to try the cheese and white sauce.

Legit east coast pizza. The managers were happy to accommodate our birthday party. We had a room of very happy children. Great all around!

God only knows how many times I have passed by this restaurant and have never noticed it until my…read moreson told me about it. Walked in around 12:50pm on 6/29/26 and was greeted by a lovely, sweet lady with a pretty smile by the name of Maddy. She was not only pleasant, but very knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the restaurant. Restaurant along with the restroom was very clean. One gender neutral restroom. The restroom had cute black and white photos on the walls. So did the restaurant. Lot's of beautiful touches here and there. As soon as I was ready to place my order, Maddy, got my order right and the food came out pretty quickly, hot, fresh and delicious!!! I ordered their Chicken Pot Pie-filled with white gravy, cooked carrots, peas, and corn. The crust was so fresh that it is so hard to describe. ($10.55), was worth every penny of it!! Then, I also got their Chicken Pesto Sandwich, which came with Mozzarella cheese, greens, tomato on a toasted Sourdough bread. I opted for the fruit instead of the side salad. ($15.25), got their medium size hot decaf. Latte, with Coconut milk($5.75), and for the milk they charged me 0,85 cents extra. (Was not informed about the extra charge for the milk). Finished my meal with a whole size Blueberry/Peach Pie.($41.95). Was a very decent size for a pie. You get what you pay for.. Everything tasted above and beyond my expectations!! Took the pie to go..They have an extensive menu options from coffee/tea, Latte, Espresso, salads, sandwiches, pies, wraps, variety of juices and more.. Street, and metered parking only. Thank you Maddy, Republic Of Pie, Cheyenne(their general manager that was so lovely to talk to) and Mary who brought out my pie and cleaned my table afterwards. Last, but not least..they have a live band playing on the weekends from 6-to 8pm. Next time, I will go there around that time to listen to some live music..

I got their key lime pie which was delicious and I also got the chicken pesto sando and that was really good too with a really generous portion. The key lime pie was definitely on the more expensive side (almost $10), but honestly it was really good and the flavor was super balanced between the cream, crust, and filling.Their coffee selection also looked really good, but unfortunately I wasn't able to try any this time. Street parking was easy to find and the service was nice, friendly, and fast!

Do you have any sense?! Anyway, turns out that person was upset that their order got canceled on DoorDash. If that person ever saw the line at Lou's, she'd understand why. Better yet, if she ever tried Lou's, she'd never have the gall to post nonsense like that. If you haven't had it, don't review it. Simple as that. As for ALL of the items at Lou's "Oh, aimé-je" it does NOT get any better. The croissants are hands down the best in America. The sandwiches (all of them): finger-licking good. The éclairs are the most delectable in town, as are the other pastries. And with ALL of that, somehow the best thing is still the customer service. I have yet to walk in there without seeing Lou personally chatting it up with customers, the man is everywhere. On sunny and rainy days he's passing out umbrellas, and on Mother's Day he's handing out wonderful gifts for all the ladies. The staff take their lead from him and are every bit as splendid. Got here early Sunday afternoon because the line was not absurdly long -- about 6 ish parties in front of us and waited around 15-20 minutes. The interior was really small and there's really only room for to place your order -- if you ordered a drink or sandwich you'd have to step outside to wait. There are a couple of small round tables covered with umbrellas for small parties if you want to do a small meet up or wait for your goods. We had wanted some croissants and apple tarts but unfortunately they had run out of the Apple tarts by the time we ordered (another excuse to return next time). We were convinced by the nice lady at the register to pick up not one but two almond croissants because they were fresh out of the oven and I'm SO GLAD we did. It was still hot/warm when we took our first bite after walking back to our car -- flaky amazing lamination with a steaming frangipane filling, for sure the best almost croissant I've had. The regular croissant was also good but not fresh/warm like the almond croissant so it left less of an impression but I can imagine it also tasting amazing if we got it fresh. Burbank is not necessarily close to where I live but I'm so glad we happened to stop by to finally try this spot out! I'd love to try the sandwiches and tarts next time!

This location is in the heart of Burbank with plenty of street parking. As i walked in, the store was not packed or crowded. Staff were polite and attentive.
