Date: August 15, 2026 We were in the Burbank area and the fam wanted some NY pizza. Googled 'best NY pizza in Burbank' and this place came in second so we went to try it out. (Since we've been to #1 already) Drove by and didn't see it at first and didn't realize until the second time that it's inside of the bating cage and does not have a parking lot. They do take cc and Apple Pay which is always a plus. They have plenty of combos and specials which makes it a great price! We got combo 3 which is a large pepperoni pizza (we asked to get half cheese half pep) and 8 chicken wings. They have arcade games and a room where you can dine as well. I believe this room is also used for birthday parties. AC worked great on this hot day and we had a great meal. They have fountain drinks and water but refills at an additional cost. Let me say, this is some of the best pizza Ive had in a while. It has made my top 5 pizza joints. This hidden gem is located inside the bat cave in Burbank. To be honest I was not very hungry. However pizza is stored in your second stomach. There was plenty of room and I had 2 slices. The thin crust pizza has a perfect crunch at the end. I folded the slice in NY fashion and devoured it. Don't let the fact Central Park Pizza is located in a batting cage fool you. This little pizza shop has been around for years. Quick service & good NY pizza. The space is simple & clean, and they have a little dining room great for parties or teams reservations after batting practice. The prices have definitely gone up over the years, and I wish they had pick-up specials. But the pizza has a good crust that's holds its form, nice burn spots, fresh ingredients. read more

Central Park Pizza in Burbank definitely serves up some of the best pizza ever -- the flavor, the crust, everything is just top-notch! It's definitely one of my favorite pizza spots. That said, I do have a couple of complaints. First, it's pretty expensive. I spent $100 on just 3 pizzas, which is pretty steep. And to top it off, they charge a fee for using a credit card, which I really don't like -- especially since it ends up cutting into the driver's tip. Make sure to ask or check your receipt for that extra fee if you're ordering delivery. I'm not sure if this applies to pick-up orders, though. That being said, I will totally go there again, but probably not for a party. For big groups or parties, I'll stick to places like Costco for a more affordable option. If you're craving amazing pizza, though, Central Park Pizza is totally worth it! read more

When a place calls itself Central Park NY Pizza then we as New Yorkers in LA have a duty to investigate. We walked in with low expectations. We thought no way this hole in the wall joint at a batting cage can be any good. We were shocked at how wrong we were. This pizza is spot on. One of the best places in Burbank and certainly joins the list of great NY style places in LA. We found out that the original owner was a New York Italian and his recipe is still being used. The New York Calzone Is FIRE here. If you have truly been to New York, and have had pizza there, like me and my girl have, you would know what i am talking about,. We stopped here the minute we this gem in the city. I bought 2 large Calzones for table of 4. We had drinks and some wings with the pizza. Their pizzas are always fresh and crispy with plenty of toppings and the perfect amounts of sauce and cheese. Native New Yorker from Brooklyn here! This pizza reminds me of home and always hits the spot. The staff is always courteous and sweet as well as understanding. The seating area is like a pizzeria and there's a lot of cool awards and older photos to look at while you eat. We get a plain cheese pizza and devour it between 2 people. Let me start with that I do like their pizza, it has always been very good. It's my go to pizza place and have been here too many times to count. Unfortunately, tonight my order was wrong. Hey, mistakes happen to the best of us. I called back to let them know my order was wrong, and suggested a discount for my next order. I was told, "we repeated the order back and you said yes." That 100% didn't happen because I would've caught the error! She then said, maybe I was in the car or something and didn't hear her. This really upset me, blaming the customer instead of taking the order wrong. Again, I know mistakes do happen and I'm accommodating. If you're going to stick to your guns and blame the customer for your error instead of just apologizing and making it right, well... I'm out! But, oh, was I wrong when I tasted the food. I've tried their cheese, pepperoni (my favorite), Hawaiian and West Coast. All are excellent! Thin crust with a little crispness, cheesy and flavorful. Got a large pepperoni and the chicken wings (they have the texture of baked wings, as opposed to some fried wings doused in sauce as one would typically expect from a pizza joint, but still enjoyable). Best pizza I've had in Burbank so far. Crust is thin and crispy. Parking is a bit confusing, as there aren't really any identifiers indicating a restaurant is there, but if you turn into an industrial looking lot and drive in, you'll see the pizza place right next to a batting cage. Descent pizza and price; nice flavor. The ranch looked greenish and like they just dumped a whole bunch of black pepper in it. Shame. The service needs a lot of help with helping first time customers. Especially avid pizza eater locals who want to try something new and maybe come back. They were clueless about the types of pizzas, specials; weren't helpful with sizes. Also weren't clear about their policies on ordering specials and whether they were only valid in house. After reading the reviews I had to try this place. I called and placed my order (they don't take online orders). I did my usual medium cheese and mushroom. I opted to pick up because I wasn't that far. Picked up the pizza and was waited on by a lovely lady. Got home opened it up and boy did it look good! I started eating before I could take a picture. The pizza was DELICIOUS. The crust was just chewy enough but not too chewy and not like a cracker crust. I enjoyed my fresh mushrooms and the sauce was good.
