Don't let the fact Central Park Pizza is located in a batting cage fool you. This little pizza shop has been around for years. Quick service & good NY pizza. The space is simple & clean, and they have a little dining room great for parties or teams reservations after batting practice. The prices have definitely gone up over the years, and I wish they had pick-up specials. But the pizza has a good crust that's holds its form, nice burn spots, fresh ingredients.

When a place calls itself Central Park NY Pizza then we as New Yorkers in LA have a duty to investigate. We walked in with low expectations. We thought no way this hole in the wall joint at a batting cage can be any good. We were shocked at how wrong we were. This pizza is spot on. One of the best places in Burbank and certainly joins the list of great NY style places in LA. We found out that the original owner was a New York Italian and his recipe is still being used. Also they make the dough fresh in house. The crust is flavorful and has that correct snap. This is a fold and eat slice like it should be.

My boyfriend works at the batcade and so we are usually eating at central park pizza at least once a week. The food is consistently really good and service is friendly. I don't buy pizza from anywhere else anymore!

Central Park has been my pizza spot for 20 years and I'm still so happy every time I order. Their pizzas are always fresh and crispy with plenty of toppings and the perfect amounts of sauce and cheese. After moving back to LA from the east coast, I can definitely say this is the closest to NY style I've found (dare I say maybe better)! The friendly staff and owner who always make us feel welcomed is a great plus. The hole in the wall style when I pick up inside the Batcade definitely gives a genuine NYC experience.

Good nyc style pizza. Used to come here every now and then before the pandemic. Decided to give it another try. Crust and cheese where on point but the ingredients and sauce lacked some seasoning. Even the pesto was bland, which is a really hard thing to do. Head scratcher lol. Kind of disappointed. Maybe I'll give it another try down the line but I'll just stick with pepperoni and cheese.

They even were super nice in giving us a beautiful and delicious Tiramisu for dessert! But to start we did start with the heirloom tomatoes with Buratta which was def hefty! Just big and juicy tomatoes with such great cheese, olive oil and balsamic with some basil. Yum. I wished they would have gone with a little more basil bc what a wonderful herb that it!! I will say that they could make the place a little more romantic -- all it would take would be some lighting change (warmth and spottier) and maybe some paint for the walls weren't all white (but that's IMO). Anyways for the main course we enjoyed pasta which we both wanted and they were super lenient on switching my tagliatelle to rigatoni which is what I love with a Ragu meat sauce. It was great! The sauce was amazing esp with the focaccia tbh eh give you to soak all that sauce. Overall we were happy and would come back. Thank you Centanni!

When I saw the pizzas the rest of our group ordered, I was glad I didn't make the same choice; perfect for a kid's amateur palate, but the thin layer of cheese & sparse toppings would make an adult pizza lover sad. The lasagna is delicious, and the noodles melt in your mouth. I like it because it's not overly heavy like some other lasagnas. It comes with two piecea of garlic bread. During my last visit, one was a bit burnt on the edges. The pastrami sandwich is really tasty, and the bread is soft but still has a nice chew. It usually comes with marinated diced tomatoes, but I always ask for them on the side. If you dine in, the sandwich comes with two deli sides. On my last visit, I got the potato salad and marinated artichokes and both were great. The potato salad was creamy, and the artichokes were super flavorful. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was a bit underwhelming. It had a slightly gritty texture. Since it's imported from Italy, I had high expectations, but I'm guessing it's shipped frozen, which might be why it didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't order it again. They also sell Italian cookies and gelato. The cookies are good, especially the raspberry ones. The gelato is really refreshing. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing.
