Egg tart - best custard ever!
    S L.

Close to the Kirkland Costco so of course it's kind of a good location? The owner is very nice and accommodating - because I asked for extra extra hot drink and he has to boil it to make it that hot for me. He also gave us a free tart to taste and it was one of the best tart - in terms of the custard. Can't say the same the shell but I still love it enough. Drinks are good and can really taste the tea - for me it's on the sweeter side but it's ok I get it at 0 sugar - which is what I do now to cut down sugar intake. The boba was really sweet and chewy first time we were there. Third time there may have been a mishap because it wasn't as good but it's probably due to the place still getting things consistent considering it's relatively new. I really hope they will thrive because I want more options than just happy lemon and rare tea (besides our fav - Bobae) in the area. I have come back twice in 2 weeks so I definitely recommend the place.

This place feels like it was planned by someone who's never run a cafe before. The good: - Tea tastes like real tea, not powdered stuff. - Boba is chewy. Sweetness levels are perfect. The bad: - Drinks are WAY too small. This is the big one. Bobalust and Happy Lemon are both less than a mile away, and they'll give you close to twice the amount of drink for the same price. These drinks aren't cheap, either- you're paying 7-8 dollars minimum. - Stocking issues. Half the time I've been here, they've been out of something important. Once it was boba itself, and this time at least 70% of their fairly small menu was out of stock. There are no photos on the ordering kiosk, either, so you have no idea what anything looks like. - Cups are opaque. So I guess you don't know what your drinks like even after you get it. Bubble tea stores use transparent cups for a reason: so you can hunt around for boba/jelly with your straw, and so you can see how much of your drink is left. But in pursuit of aesthetic, neither the lids nor the cups are see-through, so once I'm done drinking the tea, I have to rip open the top of the cup to get at the boba. - Store, which is themed around cars/anime, feels like it was designed with only aesthetics in mind, not how customers would actually USE it. The stool (?) tables are too small and wobbly to put my bag on, and the chairs have no arms to hang it from. Ten minutes in, my friend sitting across from me complains that her butt is hurting because the bench has absolutely no cushion. Also, because the bench is a lot higher than the table while my chair is a lot lower, she's had to stare down at me the whole conversation lol. There's pop music playing, but since there's no speaker system built into the store, it sounds like an employee is just blasting it from their phone in the back. There's stands for selling anime/car merch taking up the middle of the store, but most of the shelves are totally empty. Just a lot of inconveniences ruining an otherwise promising spot.

My wife and I discovered this restaurant through Instagram. We were hyped up by it because of how good it looked in pictures and videos. We got there right when they opened at 12pm and while we were ordering at the kiosk they said that there was a 25 minute wait for the tapioca. There weren't many topping options like other bubble tea places in the area. My son is obsessed with cars so he had a blast pointing out all of the car artwork and car-themed stuff throughout. There wasn't any music playing inside. It can be difficult to enter the parking lot when there's a long line at the Mercury's Coffee. The parking lot was also full. 2.5 outta 5. The tea was good and the cups were nice but we came here for the boba.

I got the Fizzy mango smoothie and it's so good! I will definitely be coming back. They have a lot of fun games for people who hangout: video games, board games, mini pool table, it's super cool!

Excellent Service, yummy bubble tea, and freshest egg tarts; the dash of cinnamon was a lovely touch.

Service is friendly taking my order (first time) but also can be distracted-hectic (second time). The interior is basic. I didn't stay. Both visits were to-go. Be aware that parts of this Juanita area, including the streets, are part of the development and is NOT regular city-parking. They are notorious for ferocious private parking meter-readers (not part of the city). Be sure to read the sign before leaving the vehicle. The Drinks and Food: Chocolate Oolong Milk Tea, $6.75(L) - 3.5 Stars The cashier said this is their most popular drinks. It still tasted quite sweet at 30% sweetness. Hubby said it tastes more like a chocolate milk. Ding it, he's right. (See what I did there.) Egg Coffee, $6.25 - 4 Stars Egg coffee is a northern Vietnamese specialty. Being in a paper cup takes away some of the charm, but such as is the U.S. lifestyle. It tasted as expected, a stronger, more roasted Viet coffee flavor. Mango Ice Tea, $6.75 - 3.5 Stars This is more of a mango drink with some tea taste - very fruity tea. Pandan Bubble Waffle, $7 - 4 Stars I came the second time mostly for this waffle. Served with whip cream and toasted coconut flake, the cashier looked at me like I grew an extra eye when I said whip cream only, no coconut. She literally didn't know how to respond to me. I am guessing they pre-pack the cream with the coconut already in it, and she didn't have time to pack another one. She handed us the bag with what we didn't want and left. I should lower the rating more, but I do like this waffle.

As a Senior Citizen I was there with two other Vietnamese people (or Asians) An Asian male and female were sitting down on a better seating area. While there were other cushion/seats there. It would have been nice if one of the two people sitting down could have offered me a better place to sit. I don't expect them to be a mind reader or anything but it would have been nice to seem be more aware. Even when after I had seen the one young Asian woman go behind the counter where the order taker waswhichmade me assume I may be wrong. Next time I'll use my camera to give evidence to this sad event. I would give more scars because service was excellent. Look like this place has a new name too!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #115…read more I haven't visited Molly Tea since the Grand Opening, but I saw the boba shop recently added brown sugar boba as a topping and I had to give it a revisit. Not to mention that I also wanted to do a direct comparison between the Premium Jasmine here and at UG tea. The result? Molly comes out on top by a large margin, although UG is much cheaper. Molly gives a smaller portion size (16oz vs large 22oz) and yet costs more then UG. Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7.98) - The milk tea is thick, luscious almost like cream with fragrant, rounded flowery notes. The jasmine flavor is deep, filling the olfactory glands and taste buds with a rich fragrance, which finishes into a nutty and earthy barley-like essence. In comparison, UG Tea offers a thinner drink that offers a good but flatter jasmine flavor, then laces it with a somewhat overbrewed tannic tea quality. Still good in comparison with most boba shops, but noticeably worse than Molly. Unfortunately the boba isn't great - I can see why they didn't have it as an option before. While very sweet and minerally from the brown sugar soak, the texture is a too soft. Decent bounce, but the boba compresses too easily on the tongue. The pearls are also not uniform spheres, instead having rough crags all along the exterior. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 I'm still leaving Molly as a 5*, but if this had been my first experience I probably would have set it as 4* given the subpar boba quality. They still have top tier milk tea though! One last thing - this place is still really busy. I expected things to die down since it's been open for a year now. Nope, on my Sunday afternoon visit, it still took over 20 minutes between the line and waiting for my drink.

We got to sample five teas and several pieces of chocolate, as well as snacks to clear the palate between teas. We learned about tea and how its harvested, as well as the processing of tea. We also learned about the tea flavor wheel and identified tea tasting notes in the sampled teas. I do wish there was more of a compare and contrast between the teas - it would have been cool to try the same teas but early vs late season, or tea processed similarly but from different regions. If you're new to tea though, the classes are perfect for you!

We had seen several…read morepop up in the past, but hadn't seen anything interesting in the past few months, so we dropped in to ask about them. Apparently rather than being prescheduled most of the time, they are held on demand. We asked for an Oolong tasting session and was able to get one penciled in a couple of weeks later. The store itself is appropriately decorated for a modern and trendy tea shop. There's a bit of an overpowering perfume that lingers throughout the store. It's not the best setting for a tea tasting, especially when trying to differentiate tasting notes when the olfactory glands are already completely saturated with perfume. LizzyKate has a decent selection of true tea, nothing super unique or rare, but I think they lean towards the more accessible blends and tisanes in the first place. Oolong Tasting Class ($35/per person) - Tasting sessions are held in the bar area, brewed mostly using gaiwan with carefully measured water temperature and volume. The class provides some educational material including laminated papers describing the tea production process, growing regions, anatomy, etc. More importantly, unlike some other tasting sessions I've attended, they actually provide pencil and paper, along with brewing instructions, to write down cupping and tasting notes. It certainly beats taking notes on my phone as I usually do. For this course, we tasted a white tea and four different oolongs. My personal tasting notes as follows (for future reference for myself): Bai Mu Dan - Mild, mellow, sweet and slightly astringent flavor with notes of honey and hay. Light golden liquid that's very easy to drink. Tie Guan Yin - Caramelized sweetness, vegetal leafy with a tiny earthy element. Darker golden color with more astringency and round lingering taste. The leaves smell smoky and roasted. Baihao - The smell is distinctively roasty and earthy, approaching the fermented smell of puerh. It has a brownish color and tastes smoky and earthy like peat. Formosa Oolong - It tastes of malt and molasses, with a certain oxidized toastiness. The color is more dark brown although it's not very astringent given the color. Osmanthus Oolong - This smells more malty and surprisingly not that flowery in aroma. The mouthfeel is extremely creamy and silky, almost like milk with the balanced taste of barley and hops with only a slight osmanthus flowery taste in the background. I think the base used is Jin Xuan given the milkiness. With the tasting also comes some treats including mini muffins and some tea infused bars from a chocolatier in Singapore, Fossa Chocolate. I think LizzyKate is more geared towards people who don't have much experience with tea and want a place that's extremely welcoming and modern. They have lattes and plenty of herbal and fruity infusions to help beginners ease into the complexities of tea, While this shop isn't for me, more tea shops are always welcome in the area. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends who want to dip their toes into the world of tea. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

But coming back now and getting the guava grape and a pistachio cloud jasmine tea I was much more impressed. Both very good though not in my top tier echelon of tea shop quality. The shop is EXTREMELY small in a width kind of way with zero seating or even countertops to lean against really. The door is also where the line starts so it can awkward if even 1 person is inside waiting in line as it can block the entrance. Also the wait here also always seems quite long as I think they get a LOT of mobile orders so even if you see the shop empty take a look at the # of orders they're working on on the TV if you want to see how crowded they are. They are very professional though and will tell you how long the wait is if it's long, I usually wait 15-20 min each time I order here. I think they blew up in China as a luxury brand, people who even hire others to wait in the long lines in China for them to get the tea! I think they are about using high quality tea in freshly made drinks as kind of their tagline. Definitely worth a try especially for the seasonal fruit drinks I'd say.

Coconut Mango Boom - I'm not sure what's wrong with this version but something is off balance from the usual. I think the ratio of mango smoothie was not enough so it was starting to taste like a bowl of sago in coconut milk. This drink is only delightful when that perfect balance is maintained.
