French Fries

Stopped for lunch after being at the hospital for an appointment. Ordered the #2 with double meat, cheese, fries and soda. For the grand total of $12.83 which is not bad. Was pleasantly surprised the burger was hot and moist not like you normally find at McDonald's. Was a little concerned it took awhile for the meal to get to me but after taking the first bite it was not an issue. This Whataburger was a lot better than my past experience in Texas the last time I ate at one. Keep up the great work thank you.

Sausage breakfast bowl with jalapeno cheddar biscuit

As far as fast food chains go, Whataburger is one of my favorites. I first discovered this chain while on a trip to Texas a while back and I had been wishing they would open some in Miami since then. My family moved to Georgia not too long ago and I was happy to discover that there are some Whataburger locations in Georgia. None are too close to my new house, but there are a couple within about half an hour's drive or so. This is probably a good thing as if I had one too close, I might eat there too much and while that might make my tastebuds happy, my waistline would not be as thrilled about it. Yesterday, hubby and I were on our way home from a weekend staycation near the mountains when we saw a Whataburger. It was barely 10 AM, so we thought only breakfast would be available to us, which disappointed my husband who is not a breakfast lover, but we stopped anyway. Hubby was super happy to discover that they serve BOTH breakfast and lunch options until 11 AM. This was great because he got his burger fix and I got to try out their breakfast, which I was curious about. My husband had the regular Whataburger, which he thoroughly enjoyed (too quickly for me to get a picture of). I ordered the sausage breakfast bowl and substituted the regular biscuit for a jalapeno cheddar one. The bowl was packed with flavor and hit the spot. I loved their mini hashbrown fries that were just the perfect amount of crispy and also appreciated that I got to enjoy that and a handful of my husband's fries. I love Whataburger fries and think they are the best of all the fast food chains. They are similar to McDonald's but Whataburger cooks them better so they are crispier and more importantly, they actually add salt, which McDonald's never does and drives me crazy cause saltless fries just suck. The sausage in my bowl was good, but I think the bacon would have been better, so next time I will go for that instead. Service was a tad slow but we chose to dine in and had a breakfast and lunch item in the same order, so I think this may have contributed to it. Overall, everything was good and I will certainly be back at some point.

Spotless dining area!

I hadn't been to a Whataburger in a long time (decades), and I'm really glad I've rediscovered a nice alternative to other fast-food joints for an occasional burger and fries. I pass on the lettuce and mustard and add ketchup and mayo. Damn tasty. And the fries are now my fast food favorites -- no spices, no gimmicks. This location in Cumming is pretty awesome and might be the cleanest fast-food restaurant I've ever been to. Truly spotless from floors, to tables, to windows. The employees are also friendly and welcoming. This merits 5-stars. Cheers! RS

Overall our food was great, I lived in Tx for 10yrs, so Whataburger is even better after moving! We ordered inside, I understand but didn't love having to wait & ask for more ketchup but while waiting I noticed all of the employees making orders wearing gloves which I appreciated! We also enjoyed the open seating with tables w/ a bench seat. You can also place your order on screen inside. my burger was a little heavy on the mustard but the onion rings were perfect!

Absolutely Horrible! Kid taking order was very nice and placed order correctly. Cooks messed up order. Suppose to get bacon burger. Got a burger with NO bacon. Too much mustard on both burgers we got and EXTREMELY greasy. Buns were stale. Fries were under cooked and mushy. Vanilla milkshake had no flavor at all. $24 for complete CRAP! I'll stick to McDonald's or Burger King!

The drive thru menu board

Being from Texas, this tastes like home. I went on the 2nd day they were open, so only the drive thru is open for service. Twi lines of cars with staff taking orders from tablets to help keep things moving. Service was as quick as it can be for food that is cooked fresh to order. I will definitely be going back.

A bit underwhelming for all the hype it's getting. Not that different from Five Guys or Village Burger.

Within a strip mall, there's parking readily available. It's fast casual, meaning you'll order at the counter and then take a number where your food is quickly delivered to your table. They have breakfast until 10:30 AM, then there's a 30 min transition to lunch which starts at 11. I arrived at noon- the place is busy, they have so many options for meals that it was difficult to choose. I went with an Italian sub and a Diet Coke, I figured how can you go wrong with their number one item on the menu? Delicious, and with the banana peppers it made for a great sandwich! Service is so wonderful. And they have a bakery and bar in house....dangerous all around! Family friendly and for me, having a casual lunch meeting was no problem! Support small owned businesses!

I was greeted LIKE I was wanted! So thank you to the wonderful young lady behind the register taking orders. I was scanning the menu as it was my first time visiting. After learning this information she quickly ran me through some of her favorite options, and answered all questions(knowledgeably I might add) I had myself about the menu. I chose the Marshal as well as a slice of the Heat of the Week. Because....why not. And by the way, the Marshall is not shown. My belly would not allow me to reach for my camera after first visualization. The pizza was heaven at first bite. Perfect undercarriage while fresh ingredients cooked to perfection on top. Then......the Marshal. Ooooohhhhhh the Marshal. Their version of a hot Italian beef. And what a phenomenal version at that. Wonderful spice and the right about of heat. Tender juicy beef. No regrets. I was introduced to Miss Marie and talk about a blessing on Earth. Talked to me like an old friend of the family. Even checked on me herself after receiving my food to go. Can not wait to go back!! 10 outta 10!

Nostalgia was calling and I took the gamble. The restaurant was dirty. Wet floor signs were up but the floor was still sticky with crap on the floor, it was hard to find a clean table, and the teenagers in the kitchen were on their phones instead of cleaning the place. My garlic burger with bacon was mid but satisfying. I enjoyed it except for the weird cold, oily bun. What's up with that? My wife had the steakhouse burger and liked it less with every bite. The caramelized onions were wet and flavorless and were likely the dinner rush leftovers, and the pickles were equally sorry. The fries were the best part and legitimately good. Wish they were thicker. I also appreciated that they gave me a boba tea-sized straw for my shake. Wish the shake was tastier. As for the service, there's no real service here. You order from a kiosk and someone shouts your name 10 minutes later and you pick up your food from the counter. And of course the self-service kiosk does the tip meme too. I'll probably be back to try it again. In another 30 years.

Another time it was that the fries were "overheating." Meanwhile, the car in front of us ordered and got their food just fine. It's beyond frustrating to sit in line only to be told a different story every visit. If you're closing early or can't serve food, just be upfront about it instead of making things up. The inconsistency alone is enough to keep us from coming back.

There was only one car in the drive thru so I figured that would be the faster way to get service. I was correct about the speed of service. My order was taken quickly. I needed a moment to review the menu before placing my order. I wasn't rushed at all. Once I placed it, I was surprised at how quickly the food came out. The chicken tenders was hot and fresh. They remind you more of a boneless breast than a typical tender you would get at a fast food restaurant. Each tender was huge, juicy and fresh. I also got fries with my order which were crinkle style. They remind me of the ones from shake shack, but with less salt. They were fine. But the star of the show was the chicken tender. The sauce that comes with the order automatically is their own secret sauce. I preferred the tender plain. But I might get a more standard sauce next time to try.
