However, I have no problem going to the Whataburger location at 9130 Barker Cypress Road. By far, it is the best fast food burger along Barker Cypress from FM529 up to 290. As a student in Lone Star for two years, I liked driving across the street in between classes to get lunch. Not sure why so many bad reviews, but at least every time I went there my burger was straight on point. I'll have to agree with a previous Yelper, maybe it has to do with the crew members that are working. But whatever it is - Always fresh. Delicious and warm. When it comes to taste, every Whataburger should strive to be like this one. Up to this day, I believe this is one of the best locations I've ever come across and I hope it never changes. We enjoy Whataburger but will never visit this location again. where to begin: Today at about 3:45 we ordered in the outside drive through lane. Husband ordered his burger w extra lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. He also requested jalapenos, large fries and a large chocolate shake. After waiting in line for 20 minutes we were told they had to remake the shake. I am sure it was melted. Five or 10 minutes later it finally showed up. It was more vanilla than chocolate. When we got home we found that he received medium (not large) fries, extra mayo, no mustard and no extra vegetables at all. He has had 2 whole jalapenos- not the sliced ones that would come on the burger. What a waste of time and money! Next time we will go to the restaurant on HWY 6. My family of 6 frequents this location twice a week and spend well over $50 each visit for poor quality, warm at best, incorrect food, no more! You suck! Not that I expect anything to come of this review seeing this place doesn't care enough to respond to these things, but at least everyone else reading these can see this. Yes, I understand you took the grilled cheese off the menu, but I also come from over 16 years as a restaurant manager, and these people are not about customer service at all. You have bread? You have cheese? You have a grill? The answer is yes, but you cannot even bother to ask a manager or a cook to make a grilled cheese for a 5 year old that loves Whataburger? Despicable. Then to top it all off, we ordered a burger with only mustard, lettuce, cheese, and grilled onions and noticed it was not correct on the receipt. We told the person that took the order, he said he'd fix it, we asked the person at the 1st window and were assured it would be correct, then we asked the girl at the second window and she said she'd make sure it's right. Guess what... None of them did anything and we yet again, paid for a burger that was cold and not even close to being correct. Sat in the drive through on Saturday morning just for a breakfast combo meal and a sausage biscuit. Service was extremely slow, and we couldn't leave because of all the cars waiting. This was around 10 am. Food finally gets brought out and half of the order was missing. And only one napkin in the bag. The only positive I have is the food was hot! I went to the drive through and ordered three meals with chocolate malts as the drink. When the guy brought them out to me they did not look like chocolate flavor at all, they were a yellowish color. I asked him if they made a mistake and he assured me they are chocolate. So I tried a taste and it did not taste like chocolate malts. Then when he brought my food out I said these are not chocolate, and he says to me again, trust me they're chocolate, if they were vanilla they would be pure white colored. Needless to say they were terrible and did not taste like chocolate malts that I've had many times from whataburger. Very disappointed as we're my wife and mother n law. read more

Wonderful burgers as usual. Love their shoe string fries. Only place I know of that offers spicy ketchup. I didn't like it but I like having the choice. Drive thru service was a little slow but friendly. They've got a double drive through but there's not a dedicated register or pay kiosk for the outer one. I'm sure it helps with traffic control but it certainly doesn't help with faster service. An employee crosses the inner lane to collect payment from customers in the outer lane. He then does it again to deliver food orders. It works but I'm dreading when (not if) the poor guy is going to get creamed. I am a regular at Whataburger! This location is closest to my home but I drive out of my way to go to another location Whataburger because the management sucks at this location. I have had several incorrect orders in the past. I even had the manager giving me my food one time after I was asked multiple times if I wanted ketchup I still did not get any with my order and on top of that I waited 15 minutes at the "redline" before they even brought my food out. No one apologized for the wait and they still forget my ketchup. Customer service seems to be a big issue here and that is why I avoid this location in particular!!! read more

I go to this whataburger all the time because it's the closest location to me and right before I was about to order my food at the drive thru, the employee tells me there's gonna be a 15-30 min wait. He asked if it was fine but it's not like I could've backed out and left, there was already somebody behind me.
