Horrible and slow service!!!! I don't understand why they premake the drinks and let them sit on the counter, just to be watered down when you finally make it to checkout in the drive thru lane. I sat in the drive thru a good 15 minutes, received my drink and no ice and it was a warm coke. I told the girl, there was no ice and would like it to be remade. I must have put her out because she gave me the ugliest look. when she gave me a new one I said thank you and she shut the window on me. Why be in customer service if you are not friendly? They never get your order correct and it's the slowest Whataburger in the world will never go back and I only live a mile away

We've been a customer since the day this location opened. They are consistently slow and on occasion, our orders have been wrong. We go there daily for soft drinks and occasionally a meal, unfortunately, I am frustrated at least once a week. Some of the issues are which lane to use if you use the outside lane you may or may not be directed to merge into the inside lane. On 01/07/21 (inside lane) we ordered 2 drinks and 1 Pancakes & Sausage, we had to wait for the order and had to pull forward to wait. A rather simple order. However, when we got home there was no sausage, no butter or knife, and a fork. Why do you have two lanes if you are only using one? On 01/08/21 there were 2 cars in the outside lane so we ordered our drinks in that lane and were instructed to merge with the inside lane and pay at the first window where there was no one, there were 3 cars in that lane in front of us. The 2 cars in the outside lane got their orders and left while 2 more cars pulled into the outside lane. We were still sitting on the inside lane (20 minutes) waiting to pull forward. Finally, the first car got their order and left allowing us to move forward as we were pulling forward the first car in the outside lane got their food order and left. Then the second car got their order and left. Still sitting behind one card in the inside lane when it was our turn I was so frustrated from waiting (we could see our drinks sitting at the window) that I knew the ice had melted so I drove off. Having managed a Mcdonald's in the past I was extremely upset with this type of service, which was not tolerated at Mcdonald's. read more

It's really sad that this location is closest to my house. They are usually so slow and almost always mess up my order when I go here. It's very disappointing because they're so close! The first time I ever came through the drive through, I was in line for at least 30 min, and when I got home my order was missing fries. I chalked it up to them being quite new and hadn't gotten their groove yet. Or maybe they were short staffed. But each time after that they continue to disappoint by either missing things from my orders or are just generally unprofessional. It seems like it's mostly younger people who work at this location and they don't really seem to care about the quality of their service or their food. They also cuss in front of customers which is really unprofessional. Advice to the manager: hire staff with better attitude and integrity. You might get better reviews from your customers. read more

Like any new restaurant coming off of a grand opening, there have been a few glitches with building a new staff from scratch, primarily with the rookies being overwhelmed in training to handle not only working in the kitchen, but also manning the drive-through and handling online orders to waiting customers. The food is extremely good and pretty consistent, especially if you're eating in. The dining room itself has only been open about two months and that may be the weak link at the moment. One of the shift managers informed me that they are having difficulties finding the right person to be their "indoor ambassador", but they will continue to looking for someone to fill that role. The biggest downside of enjoying your meal there is lack of attention to not only counter service and ordering inside, but maintaining proper cleaning protocols after diners have departed. I have been told that that is being addressed as well. Hands down worst whataburger experience I've ever had. I've been to many many whataburgers throughout the metroplex and across the state. Horrible service. Sat in line at whataburger in outside lane. Inside lane moved 8 cars through line before outside lane moved. I was already sitting for 20 minutes before I started counting also. Nobody talks to anyone or apologizes for problem. An absolute embarrassment of an establishment. I've seen chick fil a put through 8 times as many cars in the time they handled one. I've been to many whataburger and it is traditionally a little slower than most "fast food" but what is frustrating is how many people that arrived after everyone on the outside line were rolling through the line without any problems. Lady behind me complained and who knows what manager said to her. BRAND NEW establishment and need a ton of work to improve. I'm still in line. Girl said "waiting on food & there are only two grills." That didn't stop the inside lane from getting their food. My 3 year old son asks me why the cars that got here after us got their food before him. Even he gets it. Just pretty dang sad. Sorry for frustrating rant, but when you are sitting in a car for 40 minutes with screaming kids, what better do you have to do? Update: The issue seems to always just be the outside lane. They will service 6 cars on inside lane before serving one in the outside. For whatever reason this is the issue. Not sure if they forget about the lane or what. Me and my husband went here last night and used the drive through because the dining room closed at 9PM. This location may as well should have closed the drive through too. All the food was very old and cold. The hamburger buns appeared as if they had gone through a grape presser or some type of machine that flattens bread. The buns had the texture of a cardboard box. The burger my husband received was sloppy old and a disaster. When I figured out we had got burned, I wrapped the trash burger up and told my husband to keep that trash going to the trash. If you want food poisoning or worse die, stop by the Chisholm Trail Whataburger location and you are sure to experience either or. My advice to you is bypass this location so that you want be at risk of having a cardiac bypass surgery from the trash they call a burger. This place should just donate their food to the trash daily, it's not fit for sale. read more

I frequent this new location several times weekly since they are on my way to work. I know this is a new location but many improvements are needed. It always takes 15-20 minutes to go through the drive thru. Do not use the outside drive thru lane because they will never assist you or you will wait as the first lane completely empties before they help you at all. Check your food before you drive away because I've had my order mixed up more than once. If you need ketchup, salsa etc.. ask and ask again then check and make sure they give it to you. They rarely ask if you need any condiments! They always read your order to you at the window but make sure it's your order they are reading off. Again I know this is a newer location but maybe the staff needs to be trained better or just more in general. Seems like most of the employees are young and this may be their 1st job so I will continue to frequent this location but I hope to see improvements in the future. read more
