I'm giving this location a low rating because; it's ALWAYS hit or miss. Why do I continue to give them a chance? Things happen and there is always room for improvement. The meat on the burger was cold! How does that happen? I had to heat the meat up in the microwave. I'm also wondering why the cheese didn't melt. Sometimes the fries and onion rings are fresh and hot, other times they are NOT! Service was pretty good drive thru. What good is that if the food is subpar though.Could be a management issue. Did online order and delivery for the first time and will not do again. Missing 2 apple pies that were ordered and paid for. The fries in both meals were old, stale, cold & terrible. The burger very sloppily put together. No ketchup in any bag like I had put on the order. Unfortunately, overall very very disappointed and not satisfied and left hungry. Really disappointed with this location, especially because it is located so close to my home so it should be convenient. They tend to always forget items that are clearly listed on the receipt. The cook (older Hispanic woman) had the audacity to ask ME "did you pay?!" I just GAVE YOU AN ENTIRE RECEIPT!!!!!! Are you kidding me. If I didn't pay how and WHY would your employees give me a bag of freaking food, are you STUPID? Or are you DUMB? I had to state multiple times LOOK AT THE RECEIPT! She asked AGAIN if we paid. Worst Whataburger location myself or any of my coworkers have been to. Greasy burgers that have soaked through the bun making the bun a soggy mess. I've only been here twice but both times were less than satisfactory. If I wanted a crap burger, I'd give my money to BK or McDonalds. I've gone there a good few times since I live across veterans. And during the day time it's alright. But at night they have messed up a good few times. I was sitting at the drive thru for over ten minutes with no response even after yelling, then when I drive up to the window the worker walks away for nearly another five minutes. My impatience got the better of me so I left. Another night I ordered biscuits and gravy but was given a container of diced meat. Yes, I could've checked before I left. But honestly, it's not my responsibility to check it before it goes into a bag. Then there's been multiple times of "regular" negligence, from giving the wrong orders to completely forgetting an order to not even listening to the order itself. Tried giving these guys another chance.... I will be calling corporate office on them. Our experience with the late night drive thru crew hasn't improved not one bit. I just saw a commercial saying that Whataburger makes your food hot and fresh. This location does not. I asked the lady at the drive thru for fresh food and I told her I didn't mind waiting. She informed me that they just dropped my chicken strips. When I got to the window and she gave me my food...I asked her AGAIN if the food was fresh. She shook her head yes. I should've known she was full of shit. But I felt the chicken and it was hot. To my surprise when I got home realized that the chicken had been double dipped. The chicken was hard and very dry on the inside. I returned to the restaurant and asked for the manager. He/she never came to the window. They sent a regular employee to the window with my order. I never saw the manager they wouldn't come to the window. The ONLY reason this place gets even 1 star is because of the young lady that actually did help me. I just left this location,mind you it's 10:11 on a Friday night, the doors to the lobby were locked. My family and I thought nothing of it and tried another door. The manager as well as another employee watched us go to the other door and said NOTHING!! The manager and employee continued to clean the counter and stare at us while we were looking for answers. The window clearly displays the times that the lobby is open, on Fridays it's open until MIDNIGHT!! We finally got the attention of a young lady and she came to the door and informed us that the lobby had to close early due to their security guard didn't show up. I thanked her and suggested they put a sign up. After I left I was still upset about how the manager handled the situation, so I called. I let the manager know that I did not appreciate her and her male employee just looking at my family and not offering any help. She explained to me that she was getting ready to put a sign up and I informed her that she was only doing it because of what I had said to her female employee. She informed me that she would get fired if she left the door open which is fine but put a sign up!! Manager said that the corporate office had just called her and said to close the lobby. Claims that she didn't make the sign because she was busy and when I suggested she have one of the other two employees that were clearly not doing anything do it she said they were busy also. She continued to try and out talk me and I told her that it was BS and because of her customer service she would not be receiving my business tonight.
