This is one of the fast food restaurants in Huntsville that you can count on getting consistently good service. They always get my order right. The employees don't act like they wished they were someplace else. They are polite and professional. The food is hot and fresh. The drive through gets busy, but never to the point that I wanted to go someplace else. It's more expensive than the other burger joints, but at least I know I can get what I order from someone who doesn't resent having to be there. That's worth the extra expense for me. read more

The pros: 24/7 it's open. If they say it's open, it's open (I'm looking at you Taco Bell.) Taquitos (albeit, it's only 11 PM to 11 AM...) OK breakfast food. The Cons: Wow are they slow, 22 mins from pull up to drive away. The prices are not cheap. Portions seem much smaller than I remember. Like I alluded to earlier, I made a choice to come here after Taco Bell was closed early. I got more food than I really should have and thankfully they had taquitos, and they are hard to beat. The problem is they are no longer full tortilla size, they tuck in both ends quite a lot and that ends up being about fist size or 2/3 -1/2 what they used to be. It was about what I would have expected to spend $10-12 on, ended up being $16. Not the end of the world, but just kinda much. read more

Sometimes they are old and just look dirty. There were two lanes open and the staff taking orders were friendly. I drove up and someone came out to my car for me to pay and about 30 seconds later someone was out with our drinks. Yes there was a wait on our burgers, but hey it's whataburger and if you want it fresh it will be a minute to get it. We got back to the hotel and talk about delicious. Stopped here while driving from Houston to Dallas since it's right off the 45 freeway. Big mistake--I would avoid this location like the plague. I generally really like Whataburger, but had a very subpar experience at this location. It was the middle of the afternoon and not busy. We went through the drive through, and had a simple order, just two regular whataburgers, my husband asked them to hold the mayo on his and give him some ketchup packets. Communication through the drive through speaker was spotty--but that's literally every drive through ever and the order was displayed correctly on the screen. We pulled forward and paid and waited....and waited....and waited. Staff had another car move around us on the side and delivered a large bag to them and we were still waiting. Finally with a lame "sorry about that" we were handed a bag and discovered that one of our burgers had no condiments at all, and the other had ONLY mayonnaise. Meat was undercooked and cold. No ketchup packets at all. How can you mess up that simple of an order? Husband pulled over and walked in and asked for ketchup packets. Still no apology or offer to make things right. The people taking out you your food are not the ones who took your orders, therefore they have no way of knowing "who's is what!". They have a system to where the orders have to go by a committee of people before it gets to you. They throw the orders all in one cart and the employees receiving it are like pigeons, that whoever gets to it first will hand out your order, and if they can't locate you they'll bring it back inside So next time you want to lash out at the person handing out your food think twice. Yes I know the system sucks and you have no way of knowing, because in your mind as a customer you think that ots logical that the person handing out your food is aware of what you orders right? Or why can't they just give you your drink and your food all at the same window right. If you only knew that there are separate screens for everything which is kind of dumb. This whataburger is consistently offering me poor service. Everyone who I've come in contact with seems like I'm bothering them. My order never comes out correctly. With my most recent order I could tell there was poor food handling. I ordered a Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich and found lettuce and onions handing off the end when I opened it up. Almost always I ask for ketchup and almost always they never put it in the bag. It's like they don't read the ticket.. This is a solid Whataburger! Not anything special, but they're dependable. The food is good, the wait is standard, and the staff is friendly enough.
