I finally tried Whataburger after years of hype. First visit. Likely the last. Pulled into an empty parking lot. That should have been the first clue. Sat at the drive-thru speaker for five minutes before anyone responded. Then got asked to wait. Another five minutes passed before I could even order. Staff was polite, but the pace was painfully slow. Ordered the Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger meal with a large "craft" lemonade. Got to the window and found out the "craft lemonade" was just diet lemonade from a fountain. That is misleading at best. Got told to pull forward and wait again. Another five minutes. A wait like that is fine if the food delivers. It didn't. Packaging stood out. Everything was neat and organized. That is rare in fast food. Credit where it is due. Fries came out hot. That is the only positive. Zero flavor. Tasted like old fries dropped back in the fryer to reheat. If this is the standard fry, it is the worst I have had. I would rank them below Burger King without hesitation. The burger was average. Not hot. Flavor was flat. Nothing memorable. For $15.59, there are far better options in Little Rock. The food is not good enough to justify the wait, the price, or the hype. I would not come back, even for free fries. read more

Despite the poor reviews I enjoyed my visit here. I love Whataburger and normally visit when I am in Texas. I seen this location was opened as I was visiting family in Little Rock and had to make a stop. I loved the interior with the Little Rock touches. I always get the same thing. A patty melt with fries, a Dr. pepper and a brownie. I also got an order of onion rings. The fries were hot and delicious as well as the onion rings. The burger was a touch salty but otherwise satisfying and the Dr. Pepper was crispy. The employee was patient during my order process with 2 others. My only note was the shake machine was out and we were not given napkins. Otherwise I will be back here next visit. read more

I love Whataburger and been a fan for years living in Dallas. Moved here last year and have had wonderful experiences at the Benton store. But this one needs some work. The fries were hot and fresh. Yeah. But the cashier was not listening to my order and messed it up. Got it straight before paying. My big complaint is that the meat was precooked and only warm. Shame on them. It is supposed to be cooked fresh. I hope the management reads this and improves it. Also, couldn't use the kiosk to order since didn't have any of those little tents you set in the table. Pros: Food was hot and fresh Order was correct Cons: Staff is not friendly Wait time was long; approximately 22 minutes Sauce for my grilled chicken sandwich was mostly on the wrapper. Not sure how that happened. Drink was handed to me absolutely dripping all the way around with Dr Pepper. Of course that's a sticky mess I'll have to clean up later. Order box - had to repeat my order 5 different times and I am not a soft spoken person. The car in front of me and behind me had the same issue. We did online order for business meeting, Pickup was at 11:40 and was there by 11:40 wasn't till 12:10 that someone finally help me. Then order was wrong and we try to talk to someone everyone was completely rude! Then got attitude about having to remake the order! its now 12:54 and still have not gotten our food! stay away the place is horrible and the people working here have no idea what they are doing! I waited a couple months for line to die down & went today for first time, ~2:30. I don't get it. 20 mins in line for a $6 OK burger & the 2 lines backed up stopping 3 cars from leaving that had food delivered. There are plenty of places that are faster, cheaper, & tastier IMO. I loved going to Whataburger when I lived in Texas so I was so excited when this one opened up near my house. What a sad and disappointing waste of $. I bought a #1 combo with unsweet tea and my Husband just ordered a small hamburger (not even a cheeseburger) and no fries and no drink. The total came to almost $18!!! We were in drive thru for about an hour and that is only because the lobby got hit with an entire baseball team. Their attitude was fabulous for only 2 workers, 2! I really think Whataburger needs to give Sam, Aiden, and the girl who left for shift change, Amber, a raise and recommendation for employees of the month. Our food and drinks were on point. Removing onions from my premade sandwich is not the same as my request for a sandwich without onions. One can still both smell and taste the onions that were removed. I was greeted by a friendly lady and got my order for a #1 with cheese and medium fry/coke at 11:55AM. Unfortunately, things can go wrong, so after 20 minutes of others being served, I checked on my order and was assured it was in the mix... Would have given 0 star if I could have. This location is a stain on Whataburger! Ordered on the kiosk, waited 20 minutes, no food. People that arrived later than us got theirs. Went to counter, was asked for a receipt and gave it to the employee, she went in back and said the order didn't appear in their system. She said it will take less than five minutes. Waited another 10-15 minutes, went back up and another employee asked for receipt. Told her the other lady took it. Now no one could find it. I said I don't have time to wait, just want my money back. Some "manager" said she couldn't do that without a receipt. I told her the other employee took it and I don't have it. She then said she couldn't refund it without a receipt and couldn't look it up since it was on the kiosk. Gave me some 800 number to call. Called it and sent email. Supposedly some manager from the franchise company called and "offered" to refund my money if I drove back the 20 minutes each way. Said I will never step foot in that restaurant again and if he was serious he would send it to me. Refused! So, no food and no money! Avoid this location. I waited over 1.25 hours in the drive-thru lane, on a Saturday, entering @ 5:11. In the 2nd half of the through the drive-thru, there is no emergency exit! My biggest mistake of 2023 was making a trip to this location. I arrived in the drive thru at 7:15pm. A drive through that doesn't have an exit! Once you're in line, you can not abandon because of the curb. We had to sit and sit and sit UNTIL 9:45! To make matters worse, we wanted shakes & they were completely out! We waited 2.5 hours for an item they didn't even have. We asked to speak to someone that could explain what "fast food" joint could take so long, the manager walked off mid conversation!
