The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because zero isn't an option! My family and I just spent 41 minutes stuck in the drive thru! After waiting nearly 30 minutes our food was finally brought out (even though there were still 4 cars in front of us) but they forgot our drinks. The employee had very poor customer service skills and when we asked about our drinks, he just "oh, I'll let 'Em know". Two cars moved away and we were able to get out of the drive thru lanes and park in front of the restaurant. My husband went in and had to fill our drinks himself! There were even two managers standing there as he explained we had been waiting in the drive thru and then never got our drinks and they just stood there. No apology, no explanation...nothing. We will not be returning to this location again and I caution anyone who is considering it. Very poor customer service! read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!!!! Since it opened, service has been slow but it is on a steady decline to incompetent. This is by far the WORST Whataburger i have ever been to. In the span of a month, I have had 2 instances where my order was not correct. The first wouldn't have been a big deal except it was a mobile order that gave a window for when the order should be ready. 10 minutes after arriving they STARTED making my food. I finally received my order more than 15 minutes after the window provided, and it wasn't correct. They don't have any idea that mobile orders provide a time window that the food should be ready. The second more serious occurrence was when the location failed to give me an ENTIRE MEAL (less drink) causing a member of my family to miss out. This was another mobile order and it wasn't discovered until we arrived home that 1 of the meals wasn't included. Furthermore, complaints about the missing meal (which is now stealing from the customer, because I didn't get the food that I paid for) are met with canned responses because Whataburger corporate doesn't trust their management staff to make it right for the customer. The employees at this location (management included) are dismissive, unhelpful and unprofessional. Employees are arguing with one another instead of assisting customers; leaving cleaning supplies blocking the customer path to the beverages, not letting customers know what they are doing, just walking away. Let's just say utter disarray is the best explanation, we ordered our food at 1:15 and the food was ready at 1:35. But as they kept referring to the food as being worked on I watched as several of my items sat there and got cold. When i asked can we have whatever food is ready they responded we can't do that because they will get confused. If it was possible to give this location zero stars I absolutely would. I love Whataburger and this our favorite place to go when we're not cooking or eating something healthy. Except this location. Every single time I go we wait at least 15 minutes. We get two combo meals and one child's meal- no customization- and still wait this long with a mess up of some sort every single time. But the waiting time is every time plus one thing listed above or more. Tonight I went. I ordered my daughter apple slices as the side and fruit chews as the "dessert." "So you want apple slices AND fruit chews?" Me in confusion: "uh... yeah??? No fries or cookie just the apples and fruit snacks." "Okay what else?" I try to order more and get rushed through with "what else, what else" as she's clearly NOT listening. I get to the line. They try to bring me my drinks in a bag with my drink spilling and liquid pooling at the bottom. So I asked for another drink and a new bag to be met with a scowl. GET OVER IT AND DO YOUR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Then I need to pull up for two order... lol really? It's dinner rush time be prepared. I look at my receipt and I was charged for apple slices and fruit chews (even though they should've came with my meal) and yeah it was cheap and wasn't worth asking for a refund but yet another annoyance. I get our food. Wrong size fries- should've got large and paid for large- got all medium. Yet another mistake. Look in the bag. Missing fruit chews for child's meal that I already mistakenly paid extra for. I go inside and just get apologies. That's great. I don't want free food. I wasn't expecting free food or anything else. But you know what I do want? No more damn apologies and the correct order when I order it. The entire city of Manor talks about how terrible this location is and that we'd rather drive to the Cameron road location. Good thing I saved the GM's number because even though all of these things are very minor, this has become a place that you avoid unless starving and I don't want it to be that way. Oh and to the girls who think walking around together instead of working and all the teenage boys who wanna flirt with their coworkers and think it's cute to be rude to customers- do your job. The food is good, but for a fairly typical fast-food, it is anything but fast (even when not crowded). I have stopped here regularly on my way home, but generally when I'm not in a hurry. Tried the drive-thru today. There were no cars ordering and pulled right up. It was several minutes before someone answered to take my order. When I turned the corner for pick-up window, I saw there were 3 cars in each lane waiting for food. I did not have that long, so I backed out. Couldn't get anyone's attention at drive-thru to cancel my order so just left. I would recommend the burgers as certainly better than McDonalds (more on par with Burger King, which we don't have), but only if you have time to sit down and wait. It has never been fast (even though I've always been on off hours), and the drive-thru is pointless unless they can speed up service. read more

First off- I need to say I love Whataburger but this location needs some work!!! It's been open too long to still have these types of issues going on. I'm sharing my experience because this is not the first time this has happened at this location. I love my community but you arr providing a food service we pay for and it SUCKS!!! I ordered, my drinks were brought, but I waited in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. I literally had to call into the store and let them know I was still waiting. They then came outside and asked me what I ordered. After I repeated the order to them they went in and came out with my order. I stuck my hand in the bag and my food was cold. The young lady asked if I would like fresh fries. I replied of course I do! I have been in this line for more than 30 minutes and many people have come and gone as I continuously have to pull up to let them out. She took the food back into the restaurant and a manager returned quickly with the order. The order did have fresh fries but by the time I got home and noticed it was same burger and chicken strips and they were not fresh at all. Before I left I went in the restaurant and asked for a receipt as there was not one on my bag and I was not provided with one. The manager was not apologetic at all and seemed as if it was a bother that I asked her to give me a receipt after I had be waiting more than 30 minutes in the drive through. We ordered two burgers, they took a bit of time to get....we were a bit annoyed but didn't voice any concerns to the whataburger team. I've been meaning to leave a review for this Whataburger for a while, and tonight was the bad experience that finally forced me to do so. I've been a loyal Whataburger customer for a really long time but this location can't seem to ever get their act together. It has a double drive thru, but I can't even begin to understand why they bother, because they can't keep up with the volume or get the orders to the right customer. At various times I have been given the wrong food, had my order mysteriously get lost, and seen another car behind me get moved into the other lane and receive their food and drive away while I'm still waiting. I'm done with this Whataburger. The poor, unapologetic customer service is simply too much to tolerate. I can only relate my experience with the drive thru, since I typically stop here on my way home. In the future I'll simply drive home and cook a meal for myself, since that will be faster than waiting for this Whataburger to get me what I want. read more
