I went here with my friends for lunch after our rehearsal and I didn't realize it at first but I forgot my card.. so basically I ended up ordering then having to cancel. The cashier gave me a drink anyway which I really appreciated then they found me and brought me my original order for free. I thought that was so sweet and it made my day. Mixed experience here. Actually love Whataburger so experience is specific to this location. Food is good but....long wait (both in store and drive through, they don't know how to process deals/coupons, mistakes on drive through orders and some of the staff are a bit awkward when you eat in the store (come and talk to us at length while we eat and they linger). We are friendly folks but the last point indicates lack of ability for their staff to process social cues. Best advice - get it to go. read more

Received refund from Domingo R Domingo entered the same order number (52) for multiple orders. My food went to someone else, then 6+ people got their food that were behind me in line before I went and complained. 10 minutes went by with me sitting by the front counter and multiple orders going out and I still didn't have my order. 30 minutes after I paid for my food, just two burgers, I asked for a refund. So I stop here to try to get something to eat. I'm a truck driver and drive a 26ft truck. So I must park somewhere my truck can fit and have to get out to walk to the building. Some of us don't have time to download a app just to order food. We truck drivers comply with the state laws wearing mask and etc. But not to be able to walk in and order food and take it togo is a inconvenience!!! I am so sorry to leave one star but it's literally every single time I come here it takes FOREVER to get through this drive Dru. I'm talking literally the longest wait times. 80% of the time my order is correct but that doesn't upset me more than the wait times. Then after waiting so long you would think that they're making fresh food but as soon as you get your food it's cold.. after working a 12 hour shift at the hospital at night, Whataburger is my only option to get an actual fast food type of meal this early in the day, and this location is just..it's just not worth the wait.. please I am begging you to hire better or more people, or open another location in NB near buccees. read more

Worst experience at a whataburger by far!!! We got there and ordered food to go at 4:53pm this evening, I ordered my daughter a number 13, which is the chicken strips. We sat and waited and waited and waited. Still no food! At 5:15 pm I got up walked up to the counter and told the girl I ordered my daughter chicken strips at 4:53, it's now 5:15, what's up I mean where is her food, as calm as I could. She then says did you call it in, I said no we've been sitting on that bench for 23 minutes, and you saw us sitting there. She finally walks to the back and oh low and behold the food is sitting at the drive thru window! She did not apologize, she just looked at me with this smirky grin, like it was funny. I would be embarrassed and apologize to the customer, not laugh. There is absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever. My poor child was so hungry and she even says mom I just don't think they like us, I said no they just don't care. To make matters worse her food was ice cold because it had just been sitting in the back, the fries were inedible, dried out and stale as all get out. I'm embarrassed for this establishment. To think they treat customers this way and serve cold dried out stale food is just astounding. So, no apologies for the wait, the fact that the food was just sitting in the back by the drive thru window, food was stale, hard and cold. It was only $7.40 but you know what, I want a refund. It's about principle. I hope the general manager Ferman Flores gets a hold of this and makes people accountable. Plus having to wait that long for yes chicken strips, a whole 23 minutes for a small meal made us late to our destination. I had to be in Austin by 7pm and was late. I should have asked for a refund right then and there but I was already so angry and was not trying to make a scene plus I didn't want to make the people behind wait because it probably would have taken another 20 minutes to get $7.40 back. We waited 2 min before we decided to leave. We have encountered this guy before in the drive through and TWICE before he go out order wrong. Once he gave us someone else's order.
