That's not exceptional in the fast food business, but many sit down restaurants seem to struggle with getting their house served, particularly when they get busy. As I selected a table to enjoy my regular Whopper, I noticed a fellow diner finishing up lunch with his two young girls wearing a T-shirt for a vegan store restaurant, and mentioned that it was an interesting choice of clothing for a trip to BK. But the guy's been vegan for 30 years, and the impossible Whopper has turned him and his family into repeat customers. I haven't tried on yet, but heard a really interesting sales pitch from a very unlikely source. Also, there was an employee there named Kearon who I told that I would mention by name in a Yelp! review. She was wiping down tables, and spoke to every customer. There was a transient/homeless woman in a nearby booth, and I was moved by the grace that Kearon showed to her. I have reservations about mentioning that she also gave her a fiver, because I'm pretty sure that she wasn't supposed to do that. During my convo with my new vegan friend, we briefly discussed our mutual distaste for a freakishly popular fast food chain that serves chicken sandwiches seasoned with homophobia. I consider it a public nuisance because of their policies and the traffic problems that they create. In their defense, they do seem to have an uncanny skill to wotk the drive thru line, and during the handful of times that I have actually eaten there, the employees have smiled, made eye contact, and seemed to have some people skills, I haven't eaten here enough to fully evaluate this location, but I want the record to reflect that Kearon is a major asset. I look forward to returning very soon to try the Impossible Whopper!
