Amazing food and even better people i love getting hot and fast food .when you come in it's like you're family. The service is amazing

I have been to this location 3-4 times. Couple of good couple of bad trips. Forget using the app to order ahead to allow them time to prepare the food. They have yet to have it ready on arrival even at the time specified and even when giving them 30 mins to prepare it for a later pickup. They wait. Then with no one really at the location 2 burger combos and strips combo takes 20 mins to prepare. Mind you this is 50 mins after the order was placed at this point. Then the meat in the burger is just ok but the fries were undercooked and gummy. On top of that the prices are just too high for what you get. I'm done. The servers themselves have always been nice enough the ones in the front you deal with or drive though. I will give them a point for that. Skipped lunch and placed an online order for just a burger. Pulled through the drive thru and was told I had to come in the store to get it. I placed the order at 3:54 pm and was informed it would be ready at 3:59. Walked in the store and waited and waited while the manager was disciplining the workers about low pants and no motivation. Finally received my burger at 4:07 and it wasn't even warm. I grew up in Texas on Whataburger but rest assured I will never visit this one again. read more

I placed an online order for pick up for a water and a whataburger junior for my daughter. I get to the drive-thru and there are no other cars and tell them I have a mobile order, in which a stank attitude voice tells me I have to come in. It's drizzling a bit outside but my seven year old daughter and I park to go in. I go to the counter, no one is in sight. Then this woman walks out from the back of the kitchen yelling out she JUST ordered a junior and a water. My daughter then proceeds to say, well if that was ALL it was why couldn't we get it at the window ? Upon entering, there was a younger male, emptying trash so he walked to the back to get us our order and told my daughter she could grab some of the freebies he put out on the table (zip bags and frisbees). He was nice and handed us our order. Upon entering, the resteraunt looked clean, and although this young man exhibited good customer service, it never fails how stank the other people who work here attitude always is when I've visited. You either want to work or you don't. I did taste the burger before handing it over to my daughter and it was absolutely delicious - hot, made to order fresh. She ate that entire burger up. With all the fast food chains in maumelle, whataburger is usually last on my list because of their service and I see from other review ratings, I am not the only one who has issues with them. Guess they do not care that they can be out of business as fast as they were put in business if they don't have customers to GIVE them business. Whataburger use to be my favorite stop in Texas, and this location makes me want to add it back as a stop when I travel through Texas instead of being able to frequent when I want to here. At any rate my daughter says she rates them a 1 for service but she gave the food a 5. Again she's 7 going on 30. We were excited to have a Whataburger so close in Maumelle, but wow, has this been a disappointment! We have eaten there twice and our order has either been incorrect, cold or both. So is it bad management, lack of staff, or what? Please fix this so we can enjoy the Whataburger our family has enjoyed for years across the Southwest! read more

This location refuses to let you pick up your mobile order via the drive thru. Instead you have to go inside and wait in the normal line (even though you have already ordered in advance). Once you finally get to talk to someone, they yell something to the kitchen before telling you it's not ready (even though you are there past the time the app told you it would be ready). You then just have to wait 30 minutes before ultimately waiting in line again to get someone to check again. Eventually they give you some cold food which doesn't include the requested sides, customizations and condiments. This has happened the last 3 visits. Never again. read more

Order my food at 11am and it took them almost 47 mins to get me my order and it was cold so I will not be returning to this location and please train your employees better because they brought my friend the same order 3 time and it also took him 30 mins to get his meal and it was cold so my best advice is to if you have nothing else better to do go here and eat cause you will be waiting a while on your food read more

Food is always hot and exactly as I ordered it. Ate there 3 times this week and never had an issue. And any staff I interacted with was friendly and efficient. The only reason I didn't give 5 is because a couple of times in the past I had to wait a while for my food. It seems they are finally assembling a good staff. This isn't a Texas Whataburger. It has the name but the service and environment are light years different. Not sure if the other Arkansas locations are like this, but if they are, wait till you cross the Texas state line before going to another one. The staff could not have been more inattentive. They were too busy hanging out in the kitchen, talking and ignoring us. One girl finally came out and almost acted like she wasn't sure what to do with customers. The floors were sticky and slippery. Something fell from the ceiling onto our table. Luckily it didn't hit our food. We gave it a chance but won't be back. read more

Typical LR moved into Maumelle. Slow, slow and slow. Pitiful all around. On their phones. Ignoring the front counter. Took 15 minutes to get food after ordering. "Shockingly" it was incorrect. When did it get do bad. I will not be back of course. Pretty incompetent crew. Seems to be the norm nowadays. The only way to impact this type is to not hand out participation trophies and terminate them. I know most places are just happy the incompetence shows up. But how much business does that cost them? I will always give whataburger 5 stars because it's just. That. Good. I love how NLR finally got one! For it being opening day it wasn't as chaotic and slow as I was preparing for. And the Dr. Pepper is always just amazing and refreshing. NLR deserved this upgrade and now I have more variety that's not so far away to get too! Whataburger is such a classic!!! read more

This place is an embarrassment to the Whataburger name. Eaten at this chain in Texas and Louisiana and was excited for this one to open. Unfortunately the burger was cold on stale bread and the fries were cold / I was the only person in drive thru / after getting food I knew why. read more

Sat In drive through today at 12:30ish one car at window. Sat there at menu for 10 minutes never greeted. Backed up and pulled up again and waited 5 more mins still nothing so drove off. Great way to deter business. read more
