This is the Worst Whataburger in the city. I pull-up at 1:12Am on my hour break waited 30-40 minutes to get my food it was only 4 cars ahead of me and everyone already ordered I only order a breakfast burger small sprite when I get to the window I ask to take the drink off the clerk tell me he "can't do it from where he's at" which Ik he was lying I kept asking and he finally gave in I waited another 10 minutes for a burger that they didn't even make right I go in the store and complain because I've waited almost a hour for 1 simple thing and it's still wrong. The young black lady at the counter grabbed my burger went to the back put some cold hashbrowns on my burger and gave it back like here you go and didn't even consider making me a new burger and is against policy to take food back from a customer since Covid. My husband had his first Whataburger experience here, 2 weeks ago. He's from Singapore and have not try all the fast food places in town. His favorite franchise for burgers was Five Guys, until he had one of the burgers here. It was the limited-time Hatch Green Chile Bacon Burger! I'm not a fan of spicy food, but he likes them. According to him, the price was totally worth it and the taste was amazing! My reply to him was, generally most fast food place leave me feeling like meh, just to fill me up. But Whataburger, somehow always give me that, I'm so glad I ordered food from here versus from blah blah.. We tried to order from the app for curbside pick up, but the option for that does not seem to be working at the time. Instead we just opt for pick up inside versus the long line of drive-thru. The order (1 Hatch Green Chile Bacon Burger meal and 9 pieces of Whatachick n' Bites) did not take long, except we didn't get the fries for the meal. Luckily we double check before leaving the parking lot. It was an easy fix going back inside and letting them know. Usually we just assume everything was there. Fast service and the food was tasty. 5 of our party had the Patty Melt. I had the Apple Cranberry Salad with grilled chicken. One person in the group thought the burger was lacking on onions. I found my chicken cooked perfectly compared to the last time I got the same salad in Amarillo. There the griled chicken was bordering on crispy. Thumbs up all around. So my friend and I pull in and go inside I ordered a sausage and egg biscuit no cheese, large drink He ordered a breakfast on a bun combo with bbq sauce and a large drink. When delivered One cup was the normal cup and no bbq sauce When back up and wanted 42 for the bbq sauce and wanted to sell us another large drink that we had paid for The manager came up and finally gave us a cup and charged us 42 for the bbq sauce. We told them we sat there in drive-thru waiting and no one took our order, didn't provide and explanation and took our order ( 1 large fry, 1 coke, 1 milkshake), drinks came out fairly quick, fries took 5 min and when we got them they were cold. The order was missing an entire meal. There were tomatoes on a burger that we specifically asked that it have no tomatoes. The receipt clearly reads no tomatoes. I parked to take the food and receipt in to show them that food was missing. The lobby was locked due to "inclimate weather". It's clearly sunny and 90 degrees here, hasn't rained in days. I had to call the store to get the food I was missing. It took a while for someone to answer. The missing food was brought out in a timely manner. It was just a huge inconvenience. If I could give 0 stars I would. We keep saying we won't come back here but it's really close so we tried it again. Nope. They are completely unprofessional, waiting 20 minutes to get our food and then got our daughters ketchup only burger wrong TWICE! While waiting for her food we noticed they started locking the doors at 8:00 and turning people away. No signs anywhere that the hours are changing. So we sat there with half of their staff staring at us. Waiting for us to leave. Corporate needs to do something about management here or shut it down!
