The receipt said the food would be ready at 11:30 but when we got there the drive thru was packed! Our food was ready for pick up though once we got to the window. I was surprised the jr burgers are actually the size of a regular burger. I was going to swap out the ai jus sauce in my burger but I'm glad I didn't because it tasted good. I got the jalapeño ranch dip for my fries and it was pretty spicy. They did forget my cousin's cookie so she wasn't happy about that because that's all she really wanted. read more

Came here last night for the first time and it was good! We each had the mushroom Swiss burger meal with a Dr. Pepper shake and a strawberry shake. They were good! The burgers were huge! So come with an appetite. The fries were eh. I would skip the fries or do onion rings instead. The Dr. Pepper shake was really good not too sweet and good taste for something outside your traditional shakes. I couldn't even finish half the burger it was so big. You can easily split the meal. If ur not that hungry look at the light menu and get the whataburger JR or ask for small bun with any burger. I wish I knew that ahead of time and I would of went one of those routes. I have seen this burger chain for years traveling across the country but have never eaten at one until recently. Like everyone else who enjoys a nice hamburger patty or two in between a toasted bun. I love a great burger. Something about the combination of good hamburger meat with some melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and bun bread in your mouth. It's just magic if the burger is done right. Whataburger does it right. Open 24/7, this place cranks out food nonstop. Delivered to your table, your order comes with assorted dipping sauces to pick from. I would recommend the spicy ketchup. By far my favorite condiment. While I stuffed my face with my burger oldies rock and roll played within the restaurant. Ever so often drinking my soda and eating a fry or two. The fries themselves remind me very much like Mickey D's fries which I like. I usually don't review fast food chains but this place seemed different than other chains I have been to as far as quality and practices. Overall a great burger place. I tried to order a buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich even though it's not on the menu anymore and told them I can just order the bbq chicken strip sandwich and sub the sauces on the side so I can make it into the buffalo ranch myself.. this is where it started getting f'd up... I took a couple of bites out of the sandwich and it was actually really good until I noticed I was about to bite into a lot of bbq sauce and realized they made me the sandwich I didn't want while also giving me the buffalo sauce on the side (they forgot to give me the ranch). I paid about 11-$12 for this so of course I'm gonna go back to ask them to correct this since I was eating with my friend in my car and the line wasn't busy. I went back and they made me a new sandwich, but this time I noticed once I got back to the parking spot that they didn't put the veggies this time that I ordered the first time, so I had to go back in line to ask for those. When I finally put everything in and started eating this sandwich I noticed the chicken tenders were super hard like they were old af. And I'm not surprised bc they gave me that new sandwich within 1 minute of me asking for it after I asked for a new one bc the first had bbq sauce in it. I don't think I've ever made a negative review for whataburger and I'm from TX I've been to a lot, but this was very upsetting because of how much time I wasted just to eat this sandwich after all and realize I'm eating an old azz sandwich. I'm never going here again. This review needs to be a lesson for everyone (customers, minimum wage employees, hiring managers/ trainers) I shouldn't expect too much going to a fast food joint so I'll just never come back. Easy. A Fast Food Favorite Whataburger has been in the business of serving food for a very long time. You cant make it in the fast food industry for as long as Whatburger has by serving bad food. The service at Whataburger is usually fast, friendly, and accurate. My nephew and I ordered our food and went to a table, before I knew it our food was brought to the table. The food was fresh, hot, and good by fast food standards. The burger patties at Whatburger aren't thick but the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard and bun really do make for a tasty burger. My first thought was that it was a little pricey at a little over $7, but I *did* order a double burger. The people working there were very nice, service was fast, and the burger arrived hot and fresh. The double burger was worth the money, and the guy delivering it to my table asked if I needed condiments or a drink refill -- I thought that was nice. I got the green chile double burger, which consisted of two patties, two slices of cheese and a pile of green chiles on it -- they added a nice little kick. As some other reviewers mentioned, the burgers are a bit on the juicy side, so that could be a problem if you're eating in the car or just don't like your burgers that way. I have never had Whataburger before but I had to try it out after hearing a podcast about it. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have the Monterey melt anymore but I tried something else instead. I can't remember what it was called but it was a couple of burger patties in between Texas toast. It was pretty darn good! I also enjoyed the different kind of sauces I could get with my fries. The inside is a bit Bland but I think that might be typical of Whataburger establishments. I plan to try again in the future and see if I can up my rating.
