First of all, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food. You can check your security cameras to verify if you want to. When we got home, our order was all wrong. Instead of a grilled chicken melt, they gave a double patty burger. There were onions in the burger that we requested to be onion-free and no onions in the burger that should have had onions. I'm watching out for my carb intake, and can only eat very limited items from their menu. I had to recalculate the carbs so I don't go over my daily limit. Momo took our order in the drive thru and she was so patient and kind. She should get an award for her customer service skills. I asked her for a rootbeer milkshake and she was willing to make one for me even though it wasn't on the menu. The food was delicious and hot. Sorry this is long So I never ever ever had Whataburger before (I'm from Cali) my son says "oh mom you need to try it, it's the bomb". I go to store #761 on 48th street on 7/16. Order#963123 The young lady took my order at 2:01 When looking at the receipt I noticed everything I ordered wasn't on the receipt. I took it back up there to confirm the young lady said I don't know why it's not showing but your order is there (I had 6 burgers 4 on the receipt ). Oh ok So I waited, and waited and waited at exactly 2:30 she did come over to let me know she will go check on my order. But then return to let me know that they don't have all 6 of my burgers only 4. Well damn!!!!! Didn't I say that? At this point I just wanted my money back. It will take another 30 min and I would be there an hour waiting for food. Should've went to In&Out. Was in the area on business and when we drove by this Whataburger I knew I had to try this legendary burger purveyor. My expectations were met. I got a Green Chile cheeseburger and it was delicious. The accompanying onion rings were very good. I would skip the fried apple pie. It was meh and not worth the calories. The menu is full of interesting choices. Worst chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Just tried the baked chicken and the fried chicken... both came on stale buns. One bun was so hard on top, I had to remove it. I tried biting into one and the chicken patty literally slid out from between the buns and got avocado and sauce all over the place. Very messy. The fried chicken was overcooked so it was almost leathery in certain spots and the flavor was just poor. Poor quality all around, I am disappointed. I got the #2 meaI wanted it extra tomatoes. My brother asked me did you get extra. His burger had 3 on it. So I only had 1 extra really. I love whataburger but this location is terrible.. I've been here twice within the month of December 2021. Today, my husband and I ordered 2#1s. They messed up both items, the fries were stale and ice cold. The burger was not cooked. The manager was there and acted like everything was completely fine. I waited in line after I called and no one helped me. They were not busy. The crew was dancing around and having a good time. No one even bothered to even say hi. There was literally one person there. I'm very upset, and will not be coming back here. Worst customer service ever. The cashier she does her job (HISP) the ones at the back who prepares the food was intentionally (LAZY GRP) taking their TIME. Most of the people waiting were disappointed and two who ordered online demanded a refund after waiting for more than 15 minutes. It's been more than 15 minutes when I went back inside to ask my kids about the long wait and they told me some of the customers were already complaining. I then went to the same cashier to ask the status of our order and she went at the back to check it out after 5 minutes we got our Stuff. In no way was this location comparable to the multiple locations I've ate at in Oklahoma and Texas. Food was barely warm and the bun tasted like it was either reheated or had been sitting under the lamp for quite some time. Seemed like the food took longer than other fast casual restaurants. As someone who lives in Texas, I must say I was less than impressed with the service here. They messed up 2/4 orders, and the employees caught an attitude when we asked them to correct the mistake. I'm giving them a 1 star based off of my last experience. I visit this place quite often as it is near my job. Never have any problems , food and service is always great, so I was really surprised to see a supervisor acting so poorly with her staff. Her name was Yolanda and she was talking down to her employees in front of customers. Staff looked miserable and i could tell they were embarrassed. Usually they are all in a friendly mood but you could tell that Yolanda was the mood killer. Yolanda definitely needs to take some more classes on how to treat people. read more
