What a disappointment, time and again. Won't be going back for a long time. We were so excited to have a Whataburger in Queen Creek! And we returned several times thinking they would get their act together. This is undoubtedly the worst Whataburger in the southeast Valley. Burger patties must be precooked for hours. Lemon pies are kept hot for hours -- the filling is like silicone tub calk! Burger buns crumble like cornbread they are so old and have been kept for so long. Goodness -- such horrible quality. And the service is awful. You rarely get what you order -- they don't know what you ordered when you get to the pick-up window. If it was just one time, but it was numerous times and not just to us. Our neighbors who were also anticipating the opening of this Whataburger are of the very same opinion. Hopefully in a few months, this franchisee will see the light and pull this restaurant into shape. We certainly hope so. read more

I went here because in and out was with the line double the size of this place. I ordered the double burger with one slice of cheese with no bread because I'm on the keto diet. I asked it to be wrapped in lettuce, protein style. What I got was two patties on the left of a takeout container with the cheese on top, or of pickle chips a roll of tomatoes and a bunch of chopped lettuce. It's kind of hard to do a handheld with chopped lettuce. Worse than that, it's overpriced, and under quality. I eventually ended up eating the lettuce and a salad, and giving the dog the other Patti. This is my first and last visit here. I should've endured the longer line at in and out, which has fresh meat and not frozen,, And have protein style burger as a matter of course. read more

Asked me if I wanted to back up and go around front and he would get it for me and that to me is absolutely amazing. It took 45 minutes once I placed my order in the drive thru. They had one lane open. 2nd lane was closed. We waited 45 min to get our meal. Our meal was cold. Entire meal was cold. Fries were hard. Hamburgers and chicken sandwich were cold. Each time I visit Whataburger, entire experience is awful. No stars given. Ordered 3 meals and 1 extra burger, watched several cars leave that ordered after us. Waited roughly 15-20 minutes for these in 112° heat. Mushroom swiss burger has the weirdest, grossest sauce taste like it was rancid. Triple burger has a tangy mustard sauce?? Patty melt was disappointing. Of course the kiddo liked his plain burger. Yes, it's here and everyone is on the bandwagon!! Took us 45 minutes to go through the drive thru. What an insane experience but understandable since everyone is excited about it- tells you a lot about the Queen Creek/San Tan area, right? We are desperate for excitement! Regardless of the hype it is just a fast food joint and I was reminded of that fact as soon as I opened my Chicken Melt, lol! Of course it was edible, it just didn't look so pretty and summed up the trickster advertisement style of fast food. I urge those visiting to avoid the right-lane drive thru. As I went through I got irritated noticing that the left lane drive thru went quicker as that lane hits up the actual windows for both payment and food pick-up. Whereas the right lane you will have to wait for an employee to walk out to your car to take payment and than again another employee to run the food out to you.... It's the same employee too. So if the car in front of you demands ketchup she has to run back inside to get it and back out, than back inside to grab the next order for the next car and so forth. Meanwhile the left lane is just flying by even though they were five plus orders after you. Not efficient, at least yet? Lesson learned- I'll avoid that lane going forward. read more

Where do i start? There was more wrong with our order than was right. Items were missing and everyone of our burgers were prepared incorrectly. No avocado or extra onions which we paid extra for. No napkins. No utensils. This was the second time we tried this place. First time we got a coupon to come try them out and they were not open for business yet. Experience Visiting from out of state and wanted to give this restaurant a try. We did an online order for take out pick up. My brother ordered at the same time. We arrived to the restaurant to pick up, my brothers order was immediately ready. We waited 35 minutes for my order to be ready. Meanwhile my brother's food for his family was cold. People who walked in, ordered, got their food and walked out while we were still waiting. When the manager (an older gentleman) handed my food, I said "thank you" and his response was "uh huh." No thank you, no sorry for the wait, thanks for your patience. What has happened to manners? Customer service? I just spent money in your restaurant, waited waaaaayyyyy too long for food and you don't even thank me for coming? That's ridiculous. Maybe some Customer Service classes need to be taught. The night manager of this place is running this establishment into the ground!! Rude, condescending and extremely arrogant! I've been here half a dozen times around 11pm and for random reasons he closes the lobby early. Coming from 20 minutes away and expecting to eat inside this really irritates the hell out of me. They are constantly out of jokey items on the menu and the food there're putting out is gross and seems like it was from two days ago! Frys stale, burger burnt, out of buns again so the burgers were put on Texas toast. This was all from this visit today. I wish the GM would recognize the trouble this place is in and get it straightened out before it's too late. I like whataburger but coming to this one is like shooting craps..... This time around, we ordered and paid for a few burgers and a salad online, and verified the location. Went to pick it up and there was no salad. Inside, the manager said they don't serve salads... so I must have paid $9 for an imaginary one. Too many cooks in the kitchen, I'm going to give them a pass here because they are so new and I've heard so many good things about Whataburger to believe they won't get right with the world. I've read the other three reviews and I'm getting the understanding the management here needs help. It's OK to have a team party and celebrate success. And small steps forward. I'm not sure what the party was that one of the other reviewers mentioned, but that is the new managing style. Unfortunately, I think you have to have a lasting goal as well and it should be one that takes into account the customers satisfaction. The experience I had and what I'm reading from others is they have farther to go before they break out the party plates. Now for my review, they had a long line in the drive through, we had planned going in anyway, but this indicates they have huge following and a great location. We ordered and the cashier, Gabe, did a great job, even with all the distractions from the kitchen. There were 8-10 people working the drive through/kitchen area that I could see. I'm pretty sure there were more where I couldn't see. With pickup orders, drive up and walk-in orders flowing things were a bit chaotic, but our orders were simple and came out as ordered. For all the hype I've heard I was disappointed, the beef was slightly under cooked and the bun was dry on both our burgers. Lettuce, onions, pickles and jalapeños were fresh and had good taste, but since the bun was dry it needed more sauces. It seemed like a lot of bun and shy in beef, an old commercial came to mind "where's the beef?!" The fries were great! So far since moving here last August the best most consistent burgers we've had have been SmashBurger. I recommend them if you're looking to enjoy your burger. Honestly disappointed about this Whataburger every time I go. Got dinner to hang out with my mom and while we ate she said 'if this was my first time trying it then I'd never try it again". When I pulled it out of the bag it was cold. And my large fry had less than my mom's medium. It was just a sad cold dinner. First time going to this location I got a triple patty with cheese and bacon. Put a few slices of bacon on top and charged me like 7 bucks for bacon x3. Last time I went it was the same thing. Cold food and old chewy patties. No wonder it's brand new with 3 stars. Great start guys. This is not Whataburger. In fact I'd call this location whataturd. Because it is what it is. This was one of the worse experiences we've had in a long time. The location is only 3 months old, they were having a meeting with staff this day. There was 6 people working behind the counter (I guess you could say that). Noone was in the restaurant as patrons not 1 other person when we there, yes it was mid day BUT they were definitely NOT on top of things at all. We ordered it took a while, so we thought (that being the key word) that our food would be HOT & FRESH............NO IT WAS NOT barely warm on all accounts. When opening the paper to our hamburger it by far was put together the sloppiest I have ever seen. Burger was half off bun, all chopped onions (like for a hot dog) was all over the paper and NOT on the burger at all). The hamburger cool to almost warm was dry and tasteless. My experience was a little different than most listed here. When I got the the restaurant I was the fifth car in line within 2 minutes 10 other cars where in line, so I called and told the manager there were fifteen cars in line. Immediately he came out and opened the second lane. I got my order very quickly and the burger was great. I called the manager back and thank him for opening the second line so quickly.
