I came to pick up an order as a delivery driver for Uber eats, and I told them that yet they still kept telling me I hadn't sent in the order. I have had nothing but great service at Whataburger. I have 2 favorite stores and one of them happens to be the one in Rowlette, TX. on 66. Robert is the manager there and he and his crew make an AMAZING burger! And they have a great sense of humor! My experience today was great. I went at noon on Monday, prime lunch time. The lady at the counter greeted us and was friendly. Bathroom was clean. As was the dining area. Food came out quick and without any mistakes. While eating, a staff member came over and asked if we needed any ketchup or napkins or anything. I asked if they had bbq sauce and he gladly got some for me. As we were leaving a staff member came over again and asked if he could take our empty tray and trash. Even offered to get us a refill on our drinks. They were saying hello and goodbye as people came in and out, and they said it in a genuine, friendly way. That may not seem like much, but how often do you go to a fast food place and no one greats you or does so like they were being forced to be nice? Been going here since they opened. I will NOT be going back. They need management to come in and train. I've been trying to continue supporting them by using the drive thru. Latest and final straw this morning. I had to repeat my order 3 times. So much chattering in background. Then they told me to wait 2x . Came back and again ask me my order. When I waited in line B they came out got my money. Then later brought me my food. No drinks, no napkins, no silverware, no equal, that I requested. I had to ask for these items. They then brought me 1 package of of utensil. For an obvious 3 person meal. My large drink was filled 1/2 way. My husband was upset so we left. Great service considering the demand at the time. Food turned out great. 4 stars are for the employees, not the manager. As an operations manager you have to take care of your frontlines. Drive thru system was down and there was an employee sitting in an uncomfortable looking chair taking orders on an iPad with what looked like nothing to drink for hydration. It's 100 degrees, this kid's face was red and it didn't even phase him and he had excellent customer service, props to him. This location is an absolute mess. If you go in the drive thru, be sure to clear your entire schedule for the day because you will be in line forever. You might even want to bring a snack while you wait. The food is always good though once you get it so I guess that's a plus. read more

Terrible whataburger location! i'm very disappointed!! All i went for was three burgers! No fries, no drink, just three burgers!! I waited by the drive thru window for 20 min, not being dramatic. All i kept seeing were employees standing and messing around with the manager just watching. I get these employees are kids but if they're working and have customers inside and outside waiting that should be a sign to the manager to be more strict and get them working!! I really like the food from Whataburger although it is NOT cheap. Asked for ranch for my fries and they charge for a condiment. Eat at whataburger at least once per week but only this restaurant charges for ranch. Food is already expensive and nobody else charges for ranch. When you charge $8.00 for a burger then you can provide a .05 cent condiment as a courtesy. Don't nickle and dime people, its not a good business model. read more

Firstly, I do love Whataburger because their burgers are pretty good quality. This location opened up by my home not too long ago and they are really disappointing me. My first visit was through the drive thru and they messed up my order due to some misunderstanding when I told the dt person what I wanted. I ended up having to wait for almost 30 plus minutes and I had to go inside and pick up my order when I realized almost the entire line of about 5 cars passed me up. I swore I wasn't going back, but I gave it another shot. I felt like maybe since it was so busy I just happened to be the lucky customer to get the wrong order. Now onto my second drive thru visit, it wasn't so busy. There was only 1 car ahead of me and nobody else. So I was craving a sweet and spicy burger and so I thought hey! Give this place another try. They f#€%ed up my order AGAIN. I made it home and ended up with some other persons food. Like come on Whataburger! Really?! Not only did I receive the wrong order, even the incorrect order was INCORRECT! The receipt clearly said no tomatoes and there's THREE big ol tomatoes sitting in the burger. I'm just extremely sick of this location. I won't be going back at all. Next time I crave Whataburger, I'll drive the extra mile to a better location. I'm over it. read more

I actually work for Whataburger, NOT this one. My store is in Plano and we regularly get 10-15 cars through drive through and people coming in, we can handle that NO problem. If this store gets 5-7 cars (in my visits) they get STUMPED. The reason? Management. Workers are lazy, rude, even hostile when I've gone. I've seen up to 8 workers at Whataburger and only 3 were actually doing something, the rest were talking and they're team leader was just chilling. That doesn't fly at my store. This store is a bad one, i recommend visiting another unless you don't mind waiting 10 minutes for a PattyMelt with old cold fries and no other car in Drive through. read more

Very excited when this location opened close to home, but the crew during mid to late evenings seem to have zero urgency. DT wasn't moving at all, backed up and went inside to observe plenty of people working, laughing and having a great time, seemingly oblivious to the line of cars outside at drive thru.
