I ordered my food on the app and I set it to be ready for me to get it at 12:10 pm. It's currently 12:22 pm and I'm still waiting for my food! Went to the drive thru and came home to discover the super dry/overcooked chicken sandwich for me and the same for my daughters chicken tenders it almost tasted old like it was just sitting to the side and got reheated in the fryer(I'm a former cook so I know what that looks and taste like). Every time I come here they always mess up my order either by forgetting a condiment or forgetting To put my whole meal in the back. I usually don't complain but this location is ridiculous. I stay in the area and this is the closest location I visit but the food is always cold and they never give you condiments even when you order at the intercom. My last experience was simple I got a honey butter chicken biscuit and still had to request for ketchup on top of them not being prepared for cash change. I'm not surprised to see the already low number of stars for this location. I absolutely love Whataburger and I think it's definitely one of the best fast food chains in the country. However, the Schertz location has been terrible for a long time. I've received burgers with moldy buns and I've waited an hour in their drive thru. They did a great job of handling the Whataburger app process, which is rather backwards compared to most rewards apps. You have to give them a number or have them scan your barcode to get credit, rather than scanning a barcode from a receipt. I went through the drive through and they asked if I had the app once I was done ordering, and then had me pull over into a separate line. They came out to deliver my drink and take my payment quickly. As a kid we used to joke that it was called "Wait-a-burger". Three cars behind me got their order before mine. The staff member came back out and asked for my order over again. Overall the weight was less than 10 mins.
