Then I did one order for an apple pie on the app the employee kept taking peoples order while I stood at the online order area for 20 mins while she kept taking others orders. Whataburger has two drive thru lanes, but the guy kept taking orders from the right side only and so I finally backed out and left after he took the orders of three cars who came after me. I called and told them, but they said they only have one guy--makes no sense. read more

First and LAST time! Pros: drive thru moves fast, onion rings are good, portions are ample. Cons: burger didn't even cover the bun, only about 3/4 of it! It was COLD, like they had pre-cooked them and just put orders together as they came thru. For as crowded as the drive-thru was, you'd think they'd at least be warm. Also, the burger patties are VERY thin too! You'll definitely need at least two patties (which they charge an extra $2 for!) just to get a decent amount of meat! Big chunks of onion on them - not appealing if your stomach can't handle raw onion well. Burgers come with mustard - no ketchup or Mayo unless you get it on the side. $25 for two burgers (one with an extra patty), one large onion rings, and one medium shake. Two stars only because the onion rings were good. But Culver's are better! I'll continue business there... read more

Since my last review I have chosen to purchase my late night (coming home from work) meals at cookout or canes. I have driven by multiple times and have chosen canes instead because I know the line at this whataburger location takes a very long time. Tonight the line was short so I gave it a shot. Brand new, this location, like others, always seems to have a long line (dual lanes for the drive through), every time I have driven past. So, I planned to eat in for lunch on a chilly Monday. Lo and behold, though, today the line was short, but I chose to stick with the plan! But unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan, although it started well. I was greeted by a friendly employee who took my order. I went with the standard Whataburger hamburger combo, with soft drink and upgraded (and upcharged) onion rings in place of fries, all for a little over $10 with tax. I sat down, placed my order # where it could be easily seen and awaited my anticipated meal. After about 10 minutes an employee came by with what could have been my meal but no onion rings, so I thought he understood and was going to get my order. Nope. Another 10 or 15 minutes went by and I saw other people getting their food but not me. I am very patient but finally realized they had totally blown it and I was going to have to take action. I went up to the front counter and spoke with the young lady who had taken my order and she got right on it. Unfortunately, although the cooks had prepared my food it was no where to be found. They ended up making it again, so at least I got hot food. But there was no apology, no real explanation and definitely no compensation! By now I had been waiting 30 minutes. Fortunately I had stuff to read and soft drinks to consume but I drank way more than usual. Finally, the burger was substantial and quite good. But nothing to send out a press release about. The onion rings were hot and acceptable but completely ordinary and not worth the up charge. I don't really know what the hoopla is about. It's fine but nothing special. To sit in a line for more than 30 minutes and pay over $45 for your order and not get it exactly right and something as simple as ketchup. Yes, the food is good. Best burgers ever? No, but good. WHY is this location SO slow? I usually use the drive thru. It doesn't matter the time of day OR if there is one car in front of you, you're going to wait for a ridiculously unnecessary amount of time. Get it together, Whataburger! Well, I finally decided to try the legendary Whataburger. I wasn't impressed. First off, the drive through line was amazingly slow. They need to get some lessons from Chick fil A. I ordered the double cheeseburger meal with fries and a Dr. Pepper shake. It was $14.75 which seems overpriced to me. The burger was good with a good amount of fresh lettuce and the rest. It was quite filling. The fries were a little soggy and not nearly as good as McDonald's fries. The limited edition Dr. Pepper shake was unique and yummy. Not too thick and not too thin. I probably would be back because it really no better than the other fast food offerings in the area and it was too costly for what you get. read more

Very disappointed. 530 pm and first meal of the day. Reluctantly I agreed to try Whataburger for 1st time. Ordered a jr double with cheese bacon and hold the mustard. They held the lettuce, tomatoes and onions too. Also the patties were salty. Additionally we ordered bottled water and received a cup of tap water. First time visiting this new Whataburger and very disappointed! The employees taking orders inside were very rude and uncaring. Ordered dine in and received the food to go. Food was mostly edible but way less quality than other Whataburger locations. I overheard customers complaining to who may have been the manager. Many tables were dirty and even when someone brought it to the attention of the employee, they stared blankly and did not move an inch to clean them. This is the worst Whataburger I've been to. Most of the kids they have working at this location DO NOT CARE. They do not check the orders in the drive thru so make sure you check your order before you pull forward as they have frequently given me the wrong food, condiments, or drink. I have had to park to come inside to get my order correct and the floor on the inside was dirty and looked like the dining area had not been cleaned for several hours (food pieces on the floor). Do not eat here!! They are slow, dirty, and clearly too stupid to do their job. No one seems like they want to work and it's depressing talking to anyone here. The food takes forever to come out and by the time it does, you're not even hungry anymore! Not to mention, it will be cold and sloppy. The drink machine is always out and when you tell someone about it they just walk off. They definitely need some help here, the managers are so unprofessional and just stand around where there only 2-3 teenagers actually working. You're better off taking a drive to the one in Buford. Terrible communication to the customer, the place is said to be open everywhere from 11am-11pm but only takes in drive thru. The staff also doesn't find a way to communicate this to the customer. Came here with high hopes and was met with long despair of trying to get in only to find out the only way to get food was to eat in your car. Overall terrible experience. They messed up my order. The manager was rude. And the building looked very dirty. Trash was overflowing from trash cans.
