Rose Milk Tea with lychee jelly
    Sananda K.

Was looking for a cute place to study near campus and I stumbled across this on yelp! I got the rose milk bbt w lychee jelly and it was so yummy. The worker was really sweet and the inside ambiance was perfect to get some studying done. Also their playlist was a 10/10 (some r&b, some spanish, just chill vibes overall) Can see myself coming here more often!!

This space is super cute! I forgot what the boba place that used to be here was called but they really revamped the space and aesthetic. I got the Peachy Keen with lychee jelly. It was pretty good but slightly too sweet for me. The Thai iced tea with the dirty brown sugar soft serve was a totally new concept to me. That soft serve was sooooo good. I'd come back just for the soft serve and I definitely want to try the other flavors.

We went to What's the tea in Livingston. We got Mango and Strawberry slushies with Popping boba and jelly. They are good. And got two scoops of ice cream. Slushies with no sugar added tastes better as it already has sugar in it the syrup. Place looks very neat and they were quick.

This place is super cute inside. Really cute paint design all around the interior. There's also a post it note wall. My tea was delish. I got 50% sugar and it was the perfect amount of sweetness :) I would recommend ordering ahead, when I went there was only one worker and two people ahead of me had large orders.

Caught it on a very busy night, but service was still friendly and prompt. Eclectic menu with some 'not the usual boba' options as you can see on pic. Still have the same flavors you would find anywhere else. Boba itself was a little hard to chew. Wish it was softer. Soft serve and tea flavors were tasty, but not impressive for the area. Will definitely return to keep trying new things.

This place is super cute and the little post it's on the wall are fun to read thru! I've only tried the Thai tea before and tbh it's not my fave. It tasted a little weird and watery. The soft serve though? I've come back here for it. It's super creamy, not icy at all and when you scoop it up, it stretches up. Adding boba to it would probably hit, and balance out the creaminess.

    Cosmo and Wanda!

I've been dying for a good bubble tea shop to open in Edison and now we have what's the tea! They make an amaaazing matcha with strawberry cold foam. So good and the workers are so nice! The vibes within the store are also immaculate.

If I could leave zero stars, I would!…read more We ordered the afternoon tea for five people ($35pp). A few of us have dietary restrictions (fish and nuts) and clearly stated them. We asked for anything with fish be served on a separate plate. The waiter agreed to do so. We got the teas first. They added 50% sweetness to two pots of tea without asking if we wanted the tea sweet. It was pretty much undrinkable unless you were a hummingbird. We waited over an hour for the food, with mostly undrinkable tea (though the waiter did bring a few paper cups of water), and we actually had to flag down the waiter to ask when we were going to get our food. When it came, all the salmon was intermingled with the rest of the food on the same plate. There were some cucumber sandwiches and some sliced cucumbers just sitting on the plate on no bread because it was multi-grain and had seeds, NOT NUTS! The cucumber slices were next to salmon slices, also on no bread. Unfortunately, the salmon was touching just about everything on the plate, so those of us with restrictions couldn't eat most of the meal. Not only was this disappointing, it was also dangerous for people with life threatening food allergies. All in all, it was almost 2 hours for a simple afternoon tea. The lack of regard and respect for people with life threatening allergies is a disgrace. The atmosphere is nice but the service and food were terrible. Such a disappointing experience for a couple of our group who had never experienced a formal afternoon tea, and for those of us who regularly do afternoon tea.....we're just disgusted.

This Gong Cha location in Edison, NJ is gargantuan with abundant tables and chairs! It is a clean, well light relaxing atmosphere. I can imagine the table hibernation occupied by patrons lingering for hours as I would with journaling and poetry separately. The atmosphere is decorated with Japanese animation sketches of characters throughout this traditional brick and mortar store. The drink lid also contain animation sketches. As a Asian American woman, I do not have a iota for taken an interest in Asian animation sketches and never did. However, I have a strong predilection for traditional fictional cartoon characters as Hello Kitty, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or Paddington Bear. This Edison, NJ Gong Cha contains a free parking lot that is shared among neighboring business of a shopping complex 863 Logan Plaza. There are two large Japanese beckoning cats maneki-neko 招き猫 at the register which are adorable and beautiful. Customer service is prompt and efficient because I was the sole customer at that moment. A fleeting moment is all I need to attain my default drink. The female server/cashier Keshia is efficient and attentive. I did receive a sales receipt. Peach green tea, medium $6.50 I requested Oolong tea, but the cashier inadvertently inputted my order in the register as green tea. However, my sales receipt attained stated "Notes: oolong." The tea actually did taste Oolong as well as the dark coloring which my order is accurate. One medium drink with grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 $.075, regular ice 100%, and sugar 30%. I desired this drink to be cold and no milk which my requests were fulfilled and satisfied. The tea was standard but good quality. I have a predilection for Oolong and green tea - particularly Matcha green tea. The ice, as usual, entirely melted and my drink became room temperature - this time during my long-haul car ride returning to NYC. The grass jelly is average, somewhat served chilled and paucity for minimal quantity but a nice delight. I strongly believe there is a price discrimination for preferential treatment as New Jersey is significantly lowered price than its neighbor state New York. For $6.50 medium drink it is very reasonable price by the economic standards of stagflation 2026 era. If I live within distance from Edison, New Jersey and have driving skills enabling car ownership I would surely make the occasional trek to this Edison, NJ bubble tea business.
